amagad, my kids beat me in pvp....
We was the forefathers of gaming, we lay the founding for everything to come,
we where the test pilots and engineers of every modern game and platform,
and you have the audacity not giving me some slack, comooon
Watching that video reminded me of the rather unusual rule some of my friends had for playing baseball. If the ball touched you, you were out. Nobody had to be holding the ball...

I made it!
Now that I have children of my own, I can't count how many times my parents have told me how lucky I am to have made it through childhood. My dad was born in the 40's and is amazed at how much the world has changed since he was growing up, when he was in high school he would leave his keys in the car, his front door was never locked (he doesn't even know if there was a lock on it), and on Halloween the neighborhood he grew up in would have a block party where people would cook hotdogs and hambugers, give out soda or hot chocolate.
There is a great stand-up comedian talking about the 80s
unfortunately I really don't want to translate over a hour material.
He has been talking a lot about the great many choices of tv-channels.
And he turns to the audiance asking if someone is 25 years or younger.
(can see clip here, perhaps Ill translate that later)
Basically asking her to brace herself, might be a bit scary for her.
we only had two channels growing up, asking if she is ok.
Then you might think Youtube.. I say no tube....
If there where anything on television,
you had to turn it on about 17:00 to see the watch
If you where lucky, they might had the weekly pause bird running
About 1800 came the children show, lasted like 15-30 min,
hopefully they would had something in cartoon
So you might know now how come computers and consoles
sold like butter in da sun in sweden.
