Instead of crying about the winning team getting the better loot, why don't you start looking at why you aren't winning in the first place, and figure out a way to fix that.
If it's because TR's keep one-shotting you, roll a GF and survive the burst, or better yet, roll a TR.
If it's because you are always getting CC'ed by CWs, why not communicate with your team and focus them down first? Or better yet, roll a CW and stun-lock your enemies.
Those are just examples, but what I'm getting at, is that if you don't like the fact they are lumping in PvP with PvE and rewarding the better team, don't run GG, and keep running CN.
But winners in the special olympics also get gold medals.... even if they can't compete with fully functional olympians. Maybe they should implement a skill score for tiered queues.
Nice use of ellipsis to get us to read more of it. Still lacks any substance
and the million threads that are sure to be started in the next few days, along with the few that already have been, with carebears crying because they suck at PvP, those are just full of substance now, aren't they?

This is like starting a flame-bait thread, to complain about flamebaiting
This is also like starting a whinge thread, to complain about whinge threads.

Cryptic, props, GG looks awesome, I'm stoked.

What a ridiculous analogy. For your analogy to even BEGIN to scratch the surface of relativity to pvp in Neverwinter, you would have to be talking about atheletes with insanely different quality equipment. For example, one javelin thrower has a rocket-fuelled red dot laser guided homing javelin, and one has a stick he picked up outside the arena on his way in.
The combination of PvP and PvE will be fine, as long as there are pvp and pve ONLY options that offer similarly enticing rewards. There is no reason that the two can't be combined, provided there is balance in both systems, which neverwinter is not even CLOSE to achieving.

Huh, I must've missed the memo detailing how some players can't attain the same equipment as others?

Nothing is stopping you from having the same gear as the other players.

Class balance, not equipment balance. Like I said, the analogy is flawed from the get go. Doesn't matter what equipment you have, a GWF can never be a TR.

How does that help the less-useful less-powerful less-desired classes? If you are at the bottom of the totem pole, your team will ALWAYS be at a disadvantage unless the other team also chooses to hamstring themselves to meet you there.
Dude, they are too stubborn to be logical or listen to reason. People choose not to understand why they lose in PvP becuase they don't adapt, so they immediately shun it and say it "isn't balanced".

Roll a better PvP class? GWF is boss PvE, good for you, you'll be desired in the PvE aspects of the raid.
You haven't come across the "esports" crowd of pathological personalities that have ruined so many other games then, I take it?
Being a real life athlete, I absolutely despise the idea of computer nerds thinking they are playing sports. Just because they spend 12+ hours a day on a computer doesn't make them athletes.

If you feel your class is not powerful enough to be useful in a team setting, roll a different class (at least until the balance is restored).

Do you think PvP in NW is balanced? The reality is, if you think it is balanced, the people that say it isn't balanced understand better than you why they lose.

Ah, the good ole' "spend your time making up for the fact that you decided to play a class that the delevopers haven't yet fixed playing a different class that you don't want to play, just so you can compete" argument. Every balance discussion has to have one.

Newsflash : no PvP in any MMO has ever been 'balanced' in the history of PvP and MMOs. But if somethign is so IMBA, what is stopping you from doing that yourself?

another newsflash: GWF isn't broken, so have fun waiting for the "devs to fix"
Money has nothing to do with it; but even if it did, the argument still wouldn't hold, as everyone is free to make money.
Making money for many requires working long hours at a job. Working at job restricts time spent playing a game. Asking parents for money still leaves plenty of time for games.

Newsflash: Balance is not a dichotomy. It isn't on or off. There are varying degrees of balance. While no game in history that isn't a complete mirror match is ever 100% balanced, there are games that get close, and there are games that aren't playing the same sport. Neverwinter is far down the latter end.

Enough real money to buy into the latest game imbalance?

As for what is stopping me from doing it myself; time investment to my current character, desire to play my current class in a functional state, a lack of desire to waste time playing a class I don't want to play simply because it is disproportionately powerful.
You seem to be assuming that I am playing a bad class; I'm not. I play a trickster rogue. That doesn't tint my glasses to make me incapable of seeing how dysfunctional class balance is in this game. Balance is GOOD for the game, variety is GOOD for the game, and I will never understand people like you who fight passionately to support the developers lack of ability to swing the pendulum back to the center in a timely fashion.
If I dont like being one shot by a TR I should roll one!?
No class should have the ability to one shot another class in an mmo, this isnt League of Legends.
I don't bother rolling a rogue because Cryptic will nerf them and half of them will cry "I QUIT!" on the forums and re-roll the newest fad overpowered class. The cycle of whine goes on forever...

Their parents don't have the same money in their bank account?

I fail to see how this is relevant.

See you in two weeks 1 day when you get rolled by a better guild. Looking forward to the post.
