Lower Zen exchange rate means the diamonds are gaining value meaning less chance of an exploit flooding the market with them. Higher Zen exchange means more diamonds on the market. A lower diamonds to Zen rate means the market is improving.

I think its a good thing they froze it I saw the zen exchange dropping was afraid of anothe exploit and/or rollback but instead of closing the server they decided to close the AH to see if evrything is alright if there was a problem with AH this time there prolly wont be a rollback since they closed it right away I rather lose AH for prevention then having a "cat"astrophe
Every class has advantages and disadvantages. Learn the disadvantages of you class to overcome them. Learn the advantages of your class and the disadvatages of other classes to use them in pvp to win.

There is no point to whine for nerfs because you win some and loose some. Crying just makes a player look like a crier and no one, especially the devs, should take them seriously. Have a nice day!:)

You are correct. Its not rocket science but people seem to get it confused.
If everyone's BUYING zen with AD, then that would drive the price of Zen UP not down. Whenever you buy zen with AD, that takes the lowest listing. Thus, only the higher priced listings are left. Ergo, when someone goes to list zen, they see higher prices, and therefore charge those higher prices (or, more likely, slightly lower than the higher prices).

I'll grant that the AD exchange doesn't always seem to conform to traditional economic logic for one reason or another; I'm on Mind-flayer, and I didn't see any catastrophic jump in the cost of zen in terms of AD back before we had the big AH exploit last week.

How can removing million of AD from circulation makes the other AD worth less????? if there is less AD on the market ZEN price will raise for sure lol where did you get that those person bought Zen with their AD???? Especially AD farmers why would they buy zen?

Assuming free markets (which zen exchanges mostly are), if there was a huge change in how AD are valued, the price of Zen should adjust to match; however, since the zen exchange has both price floors and price ceilings, this won't occur in all circumstances. But, we've never seen zen at 50 AD or 500 AD, so that's not really an issue.

Thanks for the feedback! I've passed the article along for a potential update; it appears to be leftover from a previous Beta that occurred before Neverwinter. To clarify, Zen transfers are available for Neverwinter, the Zen Market is available, and there are no plans for a character wipe.

    Thanks for requesting clarification!

i know theres zen tranfers available for neverwinter, ive spent a rather largely sum on this game which is why im fed up of the downtime for AH, rollbacks and character breaking ''fixes''. Lets try the GF block for example, the latest patch has completely ruined the game mechanic for GFs, yet you fail to address the issue.

Stupidity is making the same mistake over and over but expecting a different result.

Just accept it... this is the path they are taking. Don't take it with them by expecting a different result from them.

If you can't handle the failure, go play something else until they get their act together. That's the only thing that means anything to them anyway... so motivate them to do the real fixes and get it right. :D

I'll be closing this one now as the issue is now looped into the greater discussion.

    Thanks!
