Simply go to the page linked above, and then click on the link for the sweepstakes. It will take you to another Facebook page, but the sweepstakes entry application is actually embedded into Facebook by a third party. You don't need to be signed into Facebook in order to fill it out. It's just going to ask you for your name, email address and zip code.
At the very end, a Facebook error will pop up, but that is just to let you know you can't share the sweepstakes with your friends if you're not signed in. By that point you will already be signed up for the sweepstakes though!
Good luck and don't forget to invoke your deity before signing up!

Don't do it. Don't promote US-only sweepstakes without clarification.
It's extremely depressing having to go through all this "beta-but-we-take-your-money" and, at the same time, being mocked for not being American, and being excluded from so-called sweepstakes because we don't live there.
The rest of the world does exist. If you can take my money, you can give my virtual prizes too.
Neverwinter allows me to play from my country. Perfect World accepts my credit card and gladly takes my money. Then let me get into those sweepstakes too.

Quite typical of American companies though, I used to play a First Person Shooter and only American teams were allowed to win the competition leagues. Non US teams could pay to enter, and may even rank higher than US teams, but only a US ream was allowed to win.

Amusingly, PWE can't take my money. As they only deal in Euros, and that's far far far more hassle for me to deal with than its worth. Its already stopped me buying several items on here and STO.
They have downtimes at times for THEIR convenience only (cutting mainly into non-US players time)
There isn't even an option for 24 hour clock in game which is the norm in most of the world
All in all very US-centric company it seems.
This is an open beta. Start treating it like one.
And several of the items are physical items, and they value the pack at about $250 bucks.

It's unfortunate when companies rely on that platform for their social interaction.
Fortunately, WoC offices are three minutes from my own. I should go over there and knock them over the head for this.
That's a fairly common excuse, but it's not the case. There are no "legislation" laws against virtual sweepstakes. It could be if the prize was something physic, like a box or artbook, but it's not the case.
I'm able to participate in giveaways such as Alienware's and Logitech's for Neverwinter... it's the same. The prize is a code, guys.
That changes things, then. Anyway they should have announced it before... I went straight in to participate, and it's a bummer.
oh and if there are actual phisical prizes you just have to say for European winners a vitual alternative will be substituted.. ta dahhh

Please. Canada is pretty much Northern USA anyway. (Not, but still.)
The main reasons US base company only allow US resident to win is because of Tax reasons, not because they hate other countries.

At least make it CLEAR UPFRONT in the title that it's limited to a tiny portion of the population of the world!

Turbine has competitions, and Lotteries that award items from the In-Game Store (and so are items that can be bought with real money) running that are open to all players regardless of their location.
The fact that PW/WOTC don't show just how little they care about players based outside of the US.
Its too much effort for them to treat us all equally.

It actually has to do with laws regarding raffles and the like across borders. It's not about slighting other countries. I'm Canadian, and it sucks that I can't participate, but laws is laws when it comes to large companies.
Wrong answer. There are physical items involved.
Those two items are not digital or virtual but physical items from WoTC. So that is the primary reasoning for no international entries.
Read this all the time, but you might be surprised how similar, if not exactly the same, most competition laws are among countries. In the UK for example, sweepstakes are fine (i.e. need no governing) as long as a question of 'skill' is involved and no payment occurs...sounds exactly like what we have here, wouldn't you say? Let me repeat that for you - no laws involved/no governance required.
Now gambling on the other hand - games of chance where money exchanges hands - is governed by law and these may well differ between countries and even between US states and frankly I haven't ever seen a freemium game cash shop that doesn't offer gambling boxes for real hard cash. So do excuse me while I chuckle at the 'too much hassle' argument.
