It's NW. Not NWO, NWNO, OR NWN3.

This may grind my gears more than when players in GW2 were typing WvWvW, when it was simply WvW.

The game is called Neverwinter, there is no "Online" in the title. It is also not affiliated with the NWN series. NWO stands for New World Order, back when the superior WCW was still around. NW is all you need to type. There saved you a tenth of second. :)

Technically it's just "N" since Neverwinter is one word not two.

The Bioware titles are denoted as NWN1 and NWN2 as they are Neverwinter Nights
NW (this game) is totally laughable compared to the great NWN1

    I agree with the OP.

It's NW. Other sites may advertise as NWO, or NO, but that's not correct.

Look at the homepage. It's "Neverwinter". Look at the URL. It's nw.perfectworld.com and nw-forum.perfectworld.com.

But, people are going to call whatever they want.

No, the devs have clearly stated that the name of the game mode is 'World vs. World', or 'WvW'. This is also how it is used everywhere.

    Sorry.

People call it NWO because it's more practical. When typing Neverwinter in google / youtube or even refering to it by this name in a conversation it gets mistaken for neverwinter nights 1 or 2. Hence, the distinction is made.

Why care, let people write it the way they want, shouldn't bother you in the least.

Are you seriously this anal? what does it matter, everyone knows what it means on these forums. I don't think you are going to get any politicians accidently stumbling in here and spilling their guts about secret societies or anything.

This is even sillier than the "Beta" v "Release" argument.

Next, let's argue about whether "Trickster Rogue" or "Rogue, Trickster" is more appropriate.
"Participation in PVP-related activities is so low on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis that we could in fact just completely take it out of STO and it would not impact the overall number of people [who] log in to the game and play in any significant way." -Gozer, Cryptic PvP Dev
