It's NW. Not NWO, NWNO, OR NWN3.

Its not Neverwinter Nights 3 but it is the 3rd Neverwinter game.

    No need to butthurt.

    Just saying :P

It's the 4th Neverwinter game; before Neverwinter Nights there was... Neverwinter Nights, a multiplayer online RPG (notably, the first one ever with graphics) that ran on AOL from 1991 to 1997.

It's the stupid W in the acronym. Doesn't flow right with out something behind it. If we just pronounced "W" as Wub instead of Doubleyou, then there wouldn't be such a debate about this. I am starting a petition with the White House to change the pronounciation. I know they can't control how the entire world pronounces it, but it's a start, right?

Maybe the kids will like Neverwinter more if there was more wub wub in it. I'm going to talk to my local congressman in favor of your ideas

If your going to get uptight about it its actually "Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter" But people like a 3 word name to break down into letters NW=Northwest if your going to complain about NWO=New World Order. D&DNW or DNDNW would e to many letters for people to type.

It could have been Forgotten Realms Online but the wanted the name recognition probably. i find it a tad ironic that your the second person to make a thread like this. and the same name error when you were trying to correct people. Let people type it however they want as long as we know what they mean its all good.

It's all geek shorthand for those too weak to type a full word.

I haven't read all the posts. But look at the top of the page at the tab. They call it N. I rather go with NW. I think if it is just N, then it is a wanna be super model or something.
