No the problem is, people can't seem to wrap their brains around DPS/Healer/Tank/Controller ... which one of those is the Rogue? If you said DPS then you have considerably comprehension skills. Now why would anyone else but the Rogue be considered being DPS when that's not their role!? If you said no body else should be as good as the rogue at DPS then congrats you understand the role of DPS and why the Rogue kills so fast and so hard! Seriously, it's not that hard to understand. I know a lot of you didn't play the Pen and Paper D&D Game but don't start complaining that one class is Overpowered when it comes to killing monsters, when that's it's exact purpose.
I dont know what this disease is but for some reason I can find an MMO where Rogues, for some reason aren't freaking ridiculous. What is it? Cause you guys grew up wanting to be ninjas when you were little? What? Why is it that this class is allowed to do so much damage, lock people out of their hot bars, have ranged abilities as well all while being difficult to kill? Explain this to me.
Know what I am seeing today in the Battlegrounds? Rogues running around WITH NO ARMOR ON! YES...NONE! Ya know why? Because they have a point to prove. In their little world they think they are so good that they dont need armor or stat bonuses to kill you, and ya know what..they are 100% RIGHT!
Fix this garbage. I for one am sick to death of this Rogue obsession every single MMO seems to have. Balance this HAMSTER!

Guardians are the scissors to the TR's paper. Once they use their tab, q, e, and r, they have nothing. GFs can just hold block and ctrl and it's GG. When I PvP with my group, we prioritize the rogues over anyone with CC. Once you shut them down life in PvP becomes much easier.
I don't think rogues are OP, it's their job to do ludicrous amounts of damage. Why not take away the guardian's shield? Or implement a CC cap on CWs?

The thing is I find is my Rogue is weak if I am playing vs a player who knows to avoid my Daze strike.
Note if they not wearing armour they most likely just toggled to display the town clothes BTW this just means it looks like they not wearing armour, you still get all your combat stats as normal.
I really wish PvP hadn't made it into the game. They really need to just put a 4e primer in the game for people to read so they understand the difference between a Defender, Controller, Leader, and Striker. A rogue is a striker - that means they're all about DPS. If they can catch you, they should be able to rip you apart. If you can stay away, they're basically harmless. It's called dodging. Learn it.
Dodge a char with stealth and shadowstep all while trying to heal or fight ? AND while being thrown up in the air, stunned, silenced, rooted, slowed and whatever else.
You wanna make PvP really fun, strategic and more skill based ? Give each class ONE thing they can do. Not like rogues which have everything. Balancing is easy... Give each class 100 points. All aspects have to = to 100.
Offense (melee) + Offense (ranged) + Offense (magic) +Defense (melee)+ Defense (Ranged) + Defense (Magic) +Healing = 100
Take away 5 points each (from the total of 100) for the ability to snare, slow, minor debuff
Take away 10 points each (from the total of 100) for the ability to silence, root, sleep, major debuff
There ya go. done.

To balance PvP how about the game follows a simple rule match teams made of the same classes against each other? IE if team A got 1 rogue, 2 wizards and 2 GF then team B should have 1 rogue, 2 wizards and 2 GF.
I agree with you, and not only that but does anyone realize that this is DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS? and each class is perfect and are the way they are supposed to be? every class has a purpose some kill some support some soak damage simple, period dot com

This is actually an amazing idea and I am very surprised that I haven't heard it before.
Making sure teams have the same number of each classes should be easy to implement, gives everyone an equal chance of winning regardless of what class they choose to play and is completely independent of the issue of class balance in PvP.

Second this idea. I'm pretty fed up with getting into a team of fail rogue and seeing 2 clerics on the opposite side. It always makes me feel kinda cold inside.
