I actually agree on this, 8pm is a ridiculous time to do maintenance unless it is absolutely required for the game to be healthy but if it could wait it should have until not so prime time.
Not impressed lately and getting less and less interested
But I still got my 200 bucks worth, have had a lot of fun.
It is quite entertaining to watch a conversation about an ill-timed maintenance devolve into people insulting each other because of their country of origin!
All I know is that I need a way to waste my Saturday night and this is incredibly inconvenient!
However, I am glad they are improving the capabilities of the servers to handle a high influx of players. I kept getting a lot of lag in Protector's Enclave and during PvP tournaments.
On topic - 1 AM PST is perfect for both worlds in maintainence. PWE will have to learn as they go along, of course shutting the game down in prime time in a major region, especially on a saturday, is completely absurd.
I wouldnt say its perfect but its a hell of alot better than what they have been doing.

Oh good, I thought you'd plain censored this thread. Admittedly, this timing is pretty terrible for maintenance. When can we expect service to resume?
Nay, we all need to vent and give feeback on what ails us. All we ask is you all do so civilly and within our Rules. Thanks everyone! Maintenance is expected to last at most, 4 hours.
Wow, just got home and this...Saturday night prime playing time??? I realize the servers have crashed the last two night, but......No offense y'all but this is HAMSTER poor planning on your part.

All I know is if this continues to happen over the weekend the folks over in STO are planning on moving a fleet into low orbit and sending a few Quantum torpedoes down to visit Neverwinter.
And don't get the folks over in CO started. The last thing you want is a spandex invasion followed by a bunch of succubus demon cat girls. Trust me. Nobody wants that.
I cant even explain how upset i am currently the first two days i was like no biggie its a beta and went to bed tonight though is the only night of the week my wife and i who work opposite shifts have time to play together and right when we log on we get 15 min to maintenance.
You people can expect none of my money ever now.
Also this post edited because they removed my original post altogether which gave much better understanding of just how upset i am with this terrible planning or rather lack thereof.
People still complaining, because things aren't perfect.
**** happens, end of story. Maybe something urgent came up? I mean seriously. Tons of other games have done this, people should be used to this sort of thing by now with MMO's especially launches. Occupy yourselves elsewhere until they manage to fix what's wrong.
That can't be right. It's Sunday 3pm now and we're in the middle of the maintenance time?
Not trying to be mean here...but a google search would get your results pretty quickly. Zebular has also posted a countdown clock, which has just under 2 hours remaining on it.
If it's 3pm there, and 2 of the 4 hours of maintenance have passed, then I can reasonably assume that the maintenance window for you is 1pm - 5pm.

Dammit, Zeb, stop being so level-headed! People are trying to rage! <
Server is up, just managed to log in.

I didn't mean to belittle his efforts, but from that example, even one person's google effort yielded an incorrect result. That's why I asked here on the forum, knowing that people more knowledgable than me could provide a timely answer. I'm very thankful for both of you responding. In any case, they've finished maintenance earlier than expected, so again, thank you both for offering your help.

I've used some of it to do research about the game. Alot of cool info on the Neverwinter sub-Reddit.
Still early for me. I just hope it comes back up on time
