Bah total failure on launch founders in game were kicked out,
launcher cant cope so we cant get back in,
And forums so packed it takes 2 mins just for a page to open  .
Every mmo has problems with the first day open beta or release dates. But it doesn't stop people from expecting anything else. Just relax and be patient.
Well at least the servers were able to handle the load in order for you to be able to open yet another thread about the same thing being discussed in 20 other threads. Betas are fun. It brings out the folks who have no idea about forum etiquette.
How can this still be so surprising to so many people... especially for a f2p mmo? >.>
Your missing maybe 2 hours of your precious game, so what? Cool your HAMSTER and deal with it.

I'm not surprised by it just annoyed,
was in a dungeon just about to encounter final boss when we got kicked out,
and they have been having stability problems before the open beta with just the prepaids ingame,
they should have known this would happen when all the freebies tried to log in.
You do not need the launcher to get into the game. All you need to do is go to C:\user\public\games\cryptic studios\neverwinter\live\GameClient.exe
Cryptic uses double account authentication meaning you log in at the launcher (which is only needed to patch the game) and then again when you are running the game client. Now this doesn't solve the issue of you not being able to actually connect to the account server... that still is being hammered.

I dont know why wizards keeps liscensing small companies that dont make true MMO's to make a DND MMO? . The game is fun but it does nothing to re invigorate the franchise nor longevity, with ctypric and PW and the small budget its not their fault the launch is shoody its to be expected . when your in and playing youll be happy for the short term.
This was a result of many players attempting to log in at once. We're going to resolve it very shortly. Thanks for being patient!

Isn't this the kind of thing a "BETA" is supposed to be around to address? Stop complaining and let the things work the way they should. Technically, you're playing an unreleased game.
Patience would be just waiting. Not a broken launcher that WAS working.
The launcher isn't broken. It is working as intended.
Imagine 1,000 people trying to fit into a hole that can only handle 10 at a time. It is not the hole's fault 1,000 people are trying to squeeze into it at the same time.

However let's leave the moderating to the mods so we don't cause flame. Send in a report rather than replying next time.

A big portion of their potential paying players will give up since they can't even get in the game on launch day, so this just loses them money.

How does explaining what the issue is equate to "blaming the customers"? No customers were blamed anywhere that I can tell. So that's a fail on your part.
that would be the proper response . and everyone that keeps saying its not a launch its a open beta is pretty funny you can put lipstick on a pig and call it your wife but at the end of the days its still a pig. the only reason why they are calling it bopen beta is because they knew they would have issues. Cryptic does not have the time, resources ,or funding to open more server at a whim. Nor purchase multiple log in servers or handle the influx of foaming at the mouth fans.
But after playing early access i will say they made a decent quality product that is tons of fun though its very linear and limited. At least they didnt try to sell you the Pig and say its a super model Like EA and bioware did with TOR.

You clearly missed the analogy he was providing. Besides I'm sure you never actually read the forums rules with a million other people. (as you go and read them now to pretend you actually had read them)

This was not the release launch so chill out
It was as if many gamers suddenly cried out and then were suddenly silenced...
LOL, Some people don't know how to.

Pictures like what there's no difference between someone in underwear, than there is someone in a swimsuit (as long as its not seethrough .
