Great news there as I plan on making an Archer my main!
The question though, heightened by limited character slots, is when these classes will be available. I'd love to pick up my bow when I get started Saturday but perhaps that's too much to ask.

Is there an NDA in effect? I didn't even think of that until just now... I guess moderator can delete my message if need be.

yea need to get the classic classes out like paladin and the game needs an archer so i would say ranger its the most iconic archer class in D&D ....although the pally wouldnt be that different from the fighter/warrior.
Dang, was trying to agree with post #48 so i used ''Reply'' but got posted at the very end.. Was i suppose to use '' Reply with quote'' instead? Anyone?.. Anyways i still agree with #365 as well, so , it's all good hehehe ! Have a nice evening Y'all !
Scourge Warlock... uhnnn... Do want. If I had solid evidence that the Warlock was coming even in the next couple weeks, I would probably just pick at the game listlessly like a child picks at her vegetables, brooding and complaining that she wants the ice cream NOW, darn it!
I'm third Edition fan so I'm going to choose from that era.
Conjuration/Illusion Wizard, Druid(Companion, Shape-shifting), Tattoo or Shintao Monk(Oriental Adventures, even though it's a prestige class)
Seems everything is based around 4th edition, but I can't help myself. If I was greedy I would type 10 more, 3ED is rich in classes/ideas. Enjoy the game very much ty!

I know this probably doesn't fit any kind of D&D campaigns (maybe it does, I really don't know), but I would very much enjoy an engineer class of some kind. They don't get much love in MMO's. Something like the Artificer from DDO would be neat.
My idea of a good engineer class would entail using a mixture of firearms, alchemy, and miscellaneous tools and gears. Maybe even a flamethrower, but that might be pushing it.
A question out of curiosity, though: do firearms have any right of existing within Forgotten Realms lore? I don't know too much, to be honest.

I think I read somewhere that ranger was to be next, don't quote me on that, and I can't find the interview that I read it at (it was a while back).
More than likely it'll be a striker class and a ranged class (since currently we only have 1 striker class, and only 2 ranged classes, which both are magic using, so a physical striker w/ ranged dmg).
I hope they add a pile of them. Bards would be nice for groups. Im a huge fan of necromancers... Diversity is the ideal though so everyone can find something to suit their play style. Im sure in time they will get there, cryptic games improve with age.

I wouldn't mind knowing which one and perhaps having a preview of these classes.

Another two tanks are nice and another healer besides a cleric would be nice to see as well.

Oooh! Oooh! Me too!
Basically, Paladins who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and actually accomplish something for once.
Warlock
Warlord: This game needs more healers
Druids: I would prefer a classic druid type to the pnp 4th de druid.
Ranger
Bard
Wild Mage
Druid
