In 4e Warlock is a bit tricky, because its main role is Striker, but it is also a single target Controller.
I do know, that fighters are meant to be Defenders, but since GWF has no threat mechanics, it is rather difficult to list him as one.
That is not true it depend on what druid your talking about the 4e Sentinels Druid is a leader primary or so it says in Heroes of the Forgotten Kingdoms.
The other 2 are Controllers primary but all of them get healing powers, just no encounter heals though.

Yeah, I have most 4th edition books; I imagine they'll be using Player Handbooks primarily, since so far everything has come from PHB1. In the Player handbooks, the classes generally fall under 1 role, and depending on which specialty they choose they lean towards a secondary role. An example, Guardian Fighter and Great Weapon Fighter, already in game, both defenders, but GWF leans towards Striker.
Same with druid, they're all Controllers, but some lean towards leader, defender, striker.

Bard (Musician), Barbarian (Rageblood), Ranger (Archer), Druid (Predator), and finally maybe Battle Cleric to give us the good ol' classic D&D cleric. I'd also like to see a Two-blade Ranger, but that's probably a pipe dream.

So it would be nice if they'd add an additional role for Controller, Leader, Striker.
They could add Druid for Controller, Warlock and/or Ranger is already in the works apparently, so there's another striker, and for a leader they could make a lot of people happy by adding Bard.
They already have plans for 3 more strikers, Scrouge Warlock and Archer Ranger we are going to see soon after release. And Brawny Rouge not to far off. We really need another controller and leader and I hope we see Warlord as our next leader. For controller I can be happy with druid, but they are a difficult class with beast form and such. We will be seeing another wizard though, eventually.

Source for rogue? I know warlock and ranger has been data-mined already, but I've never seen anything official regarding anymore rogues...not even comments from forum moderators. Also, I hear a lot of people certain the Ranger will be an Archer, but I'm fairly certain I've seen official posts by developers and moderators saying the Two-Blade Ranger is in the works...my guess, they intend to release two-blade ranger with the same patch that lets everyone play Drow.
I'd much rather see them add new classes entirely...I can't imagine them adding another rogue any time soon, especially with how similar all of the rogue types are. It would be a bit of a cop-out, especially with all of the core classes missing from the game right now:
Making a Great Weapon Fighter as one of the classes at release was already a cop-out, imo, especially considering all of the choices above JUST from the player handbooks

They do have threat mechanics, though. Pretty sure one of their entire feat trees is dedicated to it; they also get shouts.
I'm excited for the Scourge Warlock! I tried to replicate a warlock so many times in DDO with pretty limited success. Can't wait to get that one.
Beyond that, I'd like to see some of the basics covered. Ranger is apparently in the works and that's great, we need an archer of some sort. I'm glad to see so many other people asking for a Bard since that would be one of my first picks. Beyond that, Druid and Paladin for sure. Battle Cleric like people mentioned. Add those and I think the classes would start to be around what people expect from a D&D game, and then after that you could start adding the more unique stuff.

Predator Druid I hope. It would add another controller, but one that plays very differently from the Control Wizard since the Druid emphasizes melee. Hence it's a pretty attractive class since it provides a completely different playstyle from anything else in the game.
I know everyone has Drizzt boners and everything but the ranger is going to be Archer (as it should be) it was in the datamined info. I personally hope they never release two blade rangers so I never have to see 50000 derps pretending to be Drizzt running around.
Warlock The Gloom Pact is made with creatures of the Shadowfell, which gives the ability to connect with the shadows and use them to bind foes to them.

Would love to see Runepriest but I doubt that will happen anytime soon. Hexblade and Swordmage are a couple others I would like to see in game. Of course the classics are a given but I thought they have been said enough in the past 30+ pages.
I dont mind what classes they push, but i want to see atleast one new class every 2 months, preferably more in th first year after release, 5 classes just doesnt cut it.. There are over 25 classes available in the 4th edition pnp rulebooks, where every pnp class as enought content for 2 or 3 neverwinter classes, how hard can it be to push new classes?
I want to see a mellee leader ( healer) healer with secondary cc...
Avenging Paladin
This is a no-brainer...what's DnD without Paladins? That's like making PB and J sandwiches without the bread. You can do it...but it is messy and not nearly as wholesome.

I read the melee Ranger is already in the game's software code...but we need bows! When I think of DnD, I sometimes think of a lone Elf Ranger standing on a hilltop, strumming his bow for one final long-shot arrow strike right into my mother-in-law...um...I meant monster...right into the monster...anywhooo...
Shielding Swordmage
I'm sorry...the whole swordmage concept is just too cool to not introduce. If a FTP MMO wants paying players...I think introducing the unbearably cool classes/builds would really get customers' attentions.
Battle Cleric
We need a healer that has melee capabilities. While I would choose the Avenging Paladin before the Battle Cleric...let's not kid ourselves...there would be many a player who wants this in as soon as possible.

I'm not sure which build to suggest...but an Arcane Striker with ranged abilities will receive lots 'o love! I want to throw the Elementalist (Sorcerer subclass) in there as well...but since they follow a bit different rules, I'm not sure how Cryptic would fit them in.
War Wizard
I plan to play a Control Wizard at launch. But....what I really want to play is a class that does nothing but AOE the <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> outta mah enemies...sets their hair and pets and bystanders on fire...raises the ambient room temperature by about 300 degrees. Crowd control...pffft...what's that? Gimmie a god-cursed fireball any day of the week!

Well there's only 8 classes in PHB1 the thing is though in NWO the classes are subtype of D&D classes.
I will list the PHB1 Classes and subtypes/builds.
Cleric, Devoted and Battle.
Fighter, Great Weapon and Guardian.
Paladin, Avenging and Protecting.
Ranger, Archer and Two-blade.
Rogue, Brawny and Trickster.
Warlock, Deceptive and Scourge.
Warlord, Inspiring and Tactical.
Wizard, Control and War.
So I expect to see at lest one of each of these being added at some stage.

i want a ranger, but i don't know. rangers are suppose to be mobile, the kings of kiting. But with how the combat is designed in this game there won't be any of that. I like to move when using abilities.
