I reinstalled Reckoning, which has the same feel as D&D and was based on a world wholly created by Salvatore. It's like 30 USD on amazon, and worth playing to pass the time.

You guys act like you had no life until you were quickened by this game.

ANd, honestly, I feel you. Hits me right where I live.. because I'm STUCK AT THE KEYBOARD with a broken back, lol!

However, I am still playing champions online, Tera (when I can muster the willpower to deal with the F2P 10-year-olds that is) and just finished Bioshock Infinite (amazing).

    Some suggestions...

I know how you feel crystalheart. I've been skimming over the forums looking for some information worth reading. Sometimes I come across a good argument about what needs to be fixed/tweeked. Other that that , I have to stop myself from posting responses to "why is it pay to win, why are clerics bugged, my compainion sucks, yada, yada, yada" Kind of disapointing. One thing that I do like to do is; when I find a admin or dev post, click the name and view all thier posts. Less spam, more info ;)

    See you next beta,

Bioshock Infinite is a must play experience. My only advice is to really take the time and take in the whole world of the game though the story is so compelling you will want to rush forward just to see what's going to happen.

I enjoyed Lego LOTR very much. It's silly good fun.

Other than that, I'm winging around Angry Birds or trying to not be stupid on Suduko...I am not doing well at the latter.

There will be lockboxes but probably devs have taken suggestions from last thread seriously. In that case, I predict(like unreliable old man in a village fair with globe) that lockboxes will be more predictable and favorable(i.e. you will at least get something good for the value of money on the key, but you may get awesome thing exceeding it too). So they might not be too bad.

I'm completely fine with that. Only thing I wanted the lockboxes for in CO was the drifter salvage. I would sell the keys (more than 95% of the time) to Bacon and then my friends would give me their keys to open lockboxes. They wanted the prizes..I wanted Legacy items!

Speaking of bored... Llelo, I have to say, only because I know better, that your picture of an elf is actually male, and Llelowyn is a male name. I'm sorry. You picked the wrong variant of the name if you wanted to be female.

Don't worry, though. Only someone who speaks Welsh would notice it. It's the same problem I have with TF2. The Heavy calls his mini-gun "Sasha", but Sasha is a male name in Slavic. There is no female form, either. This leads me to conclude that, as the Heavy is so protective and fond of his mini-gun, that he is secretly HAMSTER, but I'm probably reading too much into a video game that has the same depth as the shallow end of the gene pool it's designed to appeal to.

Anyway, as I said, I was bored and felt you should know that you're character (the one in the siggy) is actually a boy. But I fully support his desire to go transgender. *hug* Good for you. Go get em, tiger. Err... tigress. Sorry.

If you really enjoyed Master of Magic back in the day, or any 4x high fantasy themed strategy game then I may suggest Fallen Enchantress Legendary Heroes. Its in beta, but you can buy it to play immediately. Really good game so far. I keep hoping to also catch Dishonored on sale.

    Cheers!

I'm glad you think you know how the name is picked. It might also be entertaining to know my FPS name has always been RadicalEdward, which is also a girl's name. I know, too advanced for your feeble mind. Fortunately, your grasp of Elvish is abysmal. I blame the Welsh side of you, only understanding your own little world :)
As for the picture, it's from Shining Tears, a game well beyond your comprehension, so I won't try and explain anime or Japan or their games. However, since you are so bored, you should take the time to look them up, they exist in the same world as you. Would be good exposure to learn what exists past your tiny closed-minded world :)

After considering it, I realized my recommendation to 'look them up' would be too advanced for you, so I made it easier for you by finding a simple link you can click. You learned how to do that, didn't you, warmasterpalak? http://shining.wikia.com/wiki/Elwyn <--- HINT: CLICK THIS LINK

I guess it's more of a psycopath to name a weapon, than HAMSTER for using a male name on it. Just sayin'.

What do you mean 'back in the day'? I have it installed on my computer right now!

It's actually funny that you mentioned it. When I clicked on this thread, my first thought was 'I am bored. I should really start up a game of Master of Magic, to pass the time.'

Elves have always, to me anyway, been very sexually ambiguous. I gave up trying to figure out male/female a long time ago.

In military we were told we had to name our weapons. I named my M16 Phillip. Phillip loved to jam up in the middle of shot groups. Phillip didn't last long...

In other news, I'm bored but I've been curing it with random doodles on NWRP. Its been helping so far but I don't know how long it will last. I hope we hear news soon because here soon I'm going to try and beat all my high scores on Just Dance 3.

I'm usually not the one to complain about such stuff, but at least some announcements would be really welcome. In comparisson to a post once in 2-3 days that we had between weekends, and now it's too silent...
I just think it's uneffective for business, why pump everyone up with frequent beta weekends and then make a long pause till open beta(we don't even know when it is but I guess it's safe to say that it doesn't start next Friday :P). If game is not ready(which is fine of course, that's not the point), wouldn't it be better then to move all those weekends closer to the actual release, so people don't get 'cooled off' :/ Or add some more weekends, because the 'hype' is going down if people can't play, and after building it all during weekends it may be wasted (stress tests I know, but hype was an important reason for those weekends too :D)

PS Nah, don't read that, I'm too tired and I don't know why I write this all :/

I don't think Cryptic understands the concept of "Strike when the iron is hot".

So much hype and excitement about this game during the 3 beta weekends and now it feels like it's all cooling off. I don't understand why they even did the 3 beta weekends if they weren't ready to go into open beta shortly after. Or at least have a 4th beta weekend.

I agree. you'd think that if they are doing beta weekends they'd be pretty close to a launch date or at least a long open beta, yet no word of anything happening at all (sigh).

"Frequent beta weekends' is very relative. To me, 3 weekends in the course of 2 1/2 months is not 'frequent'. I'd say they're on-par for the testing phase. I've seen a lot less closed beta weekends from games before they opened up public beta. I'll still be haunting these forums for updates for the next week and a half, which shows they know what they're doing.

....to explain, after the next week and a half rolls by, I pull out my cleaver and start head hunting.
