    Welcome Gill!

Yea we will be running the content to enjoy it, not to blow though it like an arcade. Now we will play it to learn the ins and outs, and learn how to do all the easy and hard quests and raids, but it will be at our pace.

Games like this are brutally hard to truly role play, but you'll see the difference between guilds like ours and the exploit happy, raid all day/all night guilds. That will most definitely not be us.

You're in good hands with Andre, and he's a defender from the ever breeding "drama beast" too ;)

Haha, yeah Truth, the forums are definitely my outlet. ;) I have fun on the forums. As you know I will always defend honest play, and/or a good guy or gal. I will also call out someone who shows their cheeks when the moons are aligned ;) But I'm always grounded, always looking out for our guild, always looking for talent.

We are a very unique guild. Most in our guild typically are pretty laid back, but we also enjoy having fun! We are basically a fortress to those who "just want to play the game."

We pull no punches, take no BS and consider recruiting and guild organization a science (Paksenarion and I do most of the recruiting, carefully selecting the best personalities we feel will jive) - so guildies can log on and get to run with laid back, fun folk each day. No egos, no drama. Period.

Once we attain that mix (doesn't take us long!), the fun levels really rise for guildies. Running together with like-minded individuals for so many hours is what brings back that 'ole tabletop spirit to us more than anything else... and that's what makes it all worth it in the end.

We are as prominent as any "powergaming guild' or "raid guild". But our morals are completely different. Our strength is in our unity.

I am interested in your guild, sounds like guilds I generally join in the various other MMOs I play. I have been playing RPGs and MMOs for many years to include tabletop games. I enjoy raiding, but prefer to keep it as a game and not a job. I was in a full time raid guild at one point a few years ago, I really did not like how much of a second job it had become; from that point on, I decided not to join the full time progression guilds.

The one part of MMOs I enjoy the most is playing with folks who are out to have fun and don't mind not being up there with the progression guilds. I do like to progress, but if it isn't fun then why bother?

I do get random TDY's, so there are points where I may disapper for a couple weeks rather abruptly. Generally I get plenty of notice about the trips, but sometimes they do like to pop up last minute.

If you think I will fit well, let me know and I will hop over to the website and register.

First things first, thank you for serving our nation, /salute. Your TDYs (temporary duty for guildies/readers who arent aware) are absolutely no problem, and understood fully.

Everything sounds great here, but just remember our number one rule about raiding, never put a raid before a guildie. In other words, if a guildie messes up a raid, we don't ridicule them. We show him/her how its done. We'll run about 2-4 scheduled raids a week when we are up to speed... thats it. Raids are certainly part of the guild experience, scheduled on our website approximately a week in advance so folks can plan their week. If that sounds fair, then I think everything sounds good on my end.

Yeah, those are the kind of rules I look for in the raid. I am there to have fun, and hate drama that pops up over loot. Its not like a certain piece of armor or weapon won't drop ever again. I actually don't mind when people mess up in raids, makes the raid more fun trying to figure out how to overcome the challenge.

Wandering on over to the website, so I should have a regristration app in there shortly.

PS: After being in the military for almost 10 years, I still don't know how to respond to a thank you for serving. I am always at a loss for what to say other than thank you.

Awesome! You now have full access. Welcome to the Tyrs family.

As far as knowing what to say, there is no need. I come from a long line of US military vets.. from my father, grandfather, great grandfather, and too many uncles and great uncles to mention here. I simply consider it my patriotic duty to shake a hand, say thank you, or give to our local veterans association. Just a little appreciation, in this crazy world, I feel is needed, once in a while.

Just a few words ... in Tyrs DDO chapter we've had US, English, Turkish, and the Dutch (Netherlands) military represented. Naturally we are home to quite a few US military, but we have made the most amazing friends in Tyrs from around the world.

As for non military, which make up a large part of guildies, we've also welcomed those from any country, and enjoy discussing life as it resides on the other side of the ocean.

In Neverwinter, we welcome all, male, female, from any nation (we do ask that you have a basic understanding of English, dont need to have mastered it:)), as long as you abide by our no drama policies.

We will start with a set number of guildies. Your membership in our guild will most likely last for many years, however we've been known to remove those that make life difficult for guildies very, very quickly. Any concerns guildies have, let me know (or any officer), and it will privately be taken care of. Disciplines are never discussed, as to give those coached a fair chance to integrate themselves successfully back into the mix.

Much more later on these topics of course!

Just a shoutout to say thanks to the wonderful folks which have joined our ranks thus far. I am really looking forward to running with everyone upon game launch!

Once the game starts we'll recruit only to keep within our preferred size range. That range is yet to be decided, but 60-80 sounds about right. We want to be big enough where we can do any quest/raid in the game, yet small enough to know everyone in the guild.

We are now up to 12 Neverwinter guildies, and thats excluding our DDO chapter, many whom will probably give Neverwinter a spin.

We welcome all those gamers that enjoy a relaxed, fun, no drama d&d gaming experience. If you wish to be a working part of a team of like minded players, where you are recognized daily, and considered integral to our success, Tyrs Paladium may very well be a good fit for you.

    Give us a holla!

    Hello Brothers,
I really have a positif feeling about this game and Yer Fellow Guildies.
As I am fully excited to join ya in the future battles, will I have a chance to be a member of the Crusade and the pillage you're gonna make in the forsaken Lands of Neverwinter?

I'm 25, From tunisia and already have some gray hair :o/
I'm fond of Baldur's Gate PC games, IceWind Dale and have nearly 80% of Wizards Books, eventhough I read 1 or 2 per year (RL and i'm into Warcraft lore recently).

PS: I always wanted to try DDO online but no friend of mine had the courage to leave WoW and go for it, I wanna know if it's worthy to go for it now? or it's too late? maybe with some new friend (you are that is ^^ ) I'll give it a shot and catch up soon.

That's all folks, Looking for a positif answer, and as we say in my land " Ila Likah Ya As'Dikah"

Sounds like you have a great personality/sense of humor, something we really treasure in Tyrs. Follow our link, read our guild rules (if you havent already), and if you agree, sign up using your forum name here.

    Welcome to Tyrs Paladium Drakebane!

PS: DDO is a great game, and its certainly not too late to start. The game is very much still in its prime and our brothers & sisters will certainly help you get started. There will be some that play both games, or switch between games when boredom hits, so we do not consider that wierd in our guild, but a feature of it. Once you sign up, just let us know of your intent to play DDO in your roster (fill out a roster on the Neverwinter side of our site tho if you dont mind).

We have officially increased our minimum age requirements to 25 years old today.

We will still make exceptions for those 21+, but once the game starts maturity will be gauged on an ongoing basis by officers. As long as "no drama" is your modus operandi, you will have a fine home here in Tyrs. :)

Hi, I'm a player from Turkey. I'm 23 and looking for a casual guild to participate in. I'll spend a couple of hours playing this game everyday probably. Nowadays I play LoL and XCOM. I'd like to join your guild, if you think it's OK. Gonna wait for your answer... Thanks.

Not into drama just like to have fun with friends.Signed up on your site as spacehamster but could not find where to sign up for guild. -Ildarius-aka spacehamster

Hey, I'd like to join this guild for Neverwinter play. I was an addict to NWN & modules (solo-only), although I never got into guilds until I started playing DDO (Thelanis and Cannith mainly). I have looked at the guilds currently recruiting, and decided that I definitely want one with DDO'ers (vice WoW'ers), so that at least I'll have a common knowledge base for discussions. Your guild sounds ideal for me, and me for it. Having severe beta-weekend withdrawals...logged on to DDO today and couldn't play because it all sounded so mundane...maybe a raid will be up soon!
My character on beta was Golkar, Guardian Fighter, made it to level 27 before server went down. I have a Heroes of the North pack.
FYI, over 25 (retired AF), and I have read your guild rules and agree to abide by them.

    Hey folks,

This is an old thread that was recently resurrected from the archives. (Last post in Apr 2012.) The more recent guild thread can be found here:

    http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?5111-Tyrs-Paladium-hiring-a-few-good-men-and-women!/page15

You might have better response from the current thread--as I don't believe this old one is "watched" by our leader. Don't think they are actively recruiting right now -- but, as you'll see in the current thread, "aandrethegiant" is always willing to take apps via PM.

    Sorry about the confusion,
Kadlena - member of Tyrs Paladium

Hiya! I'm interested in joining this guild. I like the whole idea of casual but respectful drama free play. I've played pen and paper d&d for some years now. As soon as I heard about this game I've really been looking forward to playing with like minded people. I like helping people in game and am not shy over the mike. (but am always respectful) Looking forward to playing with you all.
