Sorry, the Raiderz keys for NWO Closed Beta will be sent when CBT starts and/or on through the CBT period. Us Moderators do not have keys to hand out, sorry!
good thanks for the clarification. but you guys have any date of when it will begin the CBT? and you guys will be having as a key fix for me?
Sorry, we have no dates yet. However, it has been officially stated that the game will launch "Early 2013" so that means Closed Beta shouldn't be too far off now. Keep an eye on your email address you have registered with your PWE Account that you ordered your RaiderZ Founder's Pack on, as that is the Account's Email it will be sent to (unless they just flag accounts for access).

While there is no actual release date yet, I'm hoping we'll hear something in this month of January 2013. When I try and get confirmation one way or the other however, I get a very "Magic 8-ball" reply as in, "Ask again later."

Again, this is a completely free to play from the ground up MMO, including downloading a free client (unlike GW2 charging for their box.)
While there will be a cash shop for "cosmetic items," (think extra mounts and pets that follow you but don't help in combat as CO has shown with the former in regard to vehicles and STO has shown with the latter alien pets,) there will not either be a subscription (including no "Freemium" VIP one like DDO) nor will there be any "real money" Auction House. Any monetary purchases are solely going to be done through micro-transactions.
Besides the gold used as currency in game, there will be a secondary currency (like Dilithium in STO and Questionite in CO) called Astral Diamonds.
AD will be used most likely to buy in-game rare items (see mounts as a possibility) as well as possibly in skill trees to respec and also to tailor your appearance if not done by company-wide ZEN currency instead (again see STO.) If you so wish, you can purchase Zen for Real life money, and the game will extremely likely have an exchange (like STO does) that is a buy ZEN for AD and vice versa.
If you have any questions on how the game will be laid out, click the link in my banner for the FAQ and focus on the first section in regards to these specific questions and Beta. Gameplay and community are in subsequent sections.
I myself am not new to the D&D setting...been a fan since thirteen, So I know where you come from...Cant wait to write my intro and list all the experiences I have had....and cant wait to see yall in action in game...Have a great time...and till we meet, adieu

Just wanted to say hey to everyone! I won't share my personal life as I'm sure the majority of you don't give a HAMSTER, but I will say that I'm young enough to be considered a baby in many of your eyes. Being the age that I am, I have not found a real D&D group (though I haven't tried very hard).
I've actually only ever played it once with my father and brother (the former grew up playing D&D with a steady group of friends).
I can say that I played a fair amount of MMOs, the earliest being Asheron's Call (long after its release) and the most recent being SWTOR. The more popular that I've tried are WoW and DDO, so I guess I haven't exactly played a very large variety of online games. I've played and finished Balder's Gate I&II and I played NWN when I was a tad younger, though I regret to say that I did not have the patience to play my way out of the town while I still had my hands on it.
I'm really just here to say that I look forward to playing this game with you all and possibly learning some more about the lore!
P.S. I love reading almost anything having to do with the Forgotten Realms, so if you have any must-reads in mind please feel free to send me some titles!
Thanks and have a nice day!

Hiya, thought id be semi social, wasnt sure where else to bother all of ya, wanted see how the NW Community was. Also thought it would be a good idea to keep updated on this fantastic new obsession im going to have. I am a huge D&D player, but I'm used too, and usually stick with v3.5. I'm on DDO most of the time, so i haven't gotten around to PnP in awhile. I'm glad to be trying v4 in a virtual environment, it will be a good learning experience, and a lazy way to learn v4s mechanics.

I can tell you they're absolutely awesome but that's up to you to decide
All I can say for sure is that with a total cost of $0 for trying out the game it's worth at least downloading and giving a shot. If you like it, which I bet you will, stick around. If not you have lost nothing.

Well met. For my "D&D" background: I started with the "original" D&D that came out as releases in the Dungeon&Dragon magazine, which eventually was then assembled as the very first Edition of AD&D (Players' Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, along with, not the least, the Monster Manual!!! all set the the original World of Greyhawk. (imho, the only real ever-made, true D&D rules...
Then came along a long list of "changes": the 2nd Edition flop, the 3rd edition (which I belive is basically now the rule set used in this game) which gave back a bit of sense to the game. I loved the skills system, a system a bit lacking in the 1st Edition rulesets... The "perk-like system" of the 3rd Edition called Feats was also i succes I think.
I'd say the 3rd edition finally improved the original rulesets of the 1st edition.
On the PC gaming side, currently playing DDO,Age of Conan, DC Universe Online, Star Trek Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic, The Secret World, Guild Wars 2, Far Cry3, Borderlands 2, EQII and Diablo III. (also played UO, Dark Age of Camelot, WoW and EQ so I hope to contribute to Neverwinter through my quite extensive PC gaming experience.
So here you have it, my 2cents!

Hello everyone!
So far, I haven't a chance to play Neverwinter yet, though it certainly looks interesting enough. I was an active player of STO some months back, but spend most of my time on Guild Wars 2 these days.
But I'll certainly be paying attention. As a wiki manager, I've recently been asked to set up a wiki for Neverwinter. Feel free to check it out and let me know what you think, or even make a few edits. See you there.

This game looks great and I can't wait to play, however I'm wondering if Paladin will be a class either at launch or after? Otherwise I can't wait to play it.

Well its nice to see that someone (iamtruthseeker) has been around as long as I have. I still have my first and second gen D&D books but haven't played it in a while. I was at one time a dungeon master but don't think I can still claim that title since I have been out of D&D for over 10 years. I have played many mmo's, and mmorg's. I am currently BETA testing MWO, and Planetside 2 having been in both closed betas and the current open beta's. I played WOW from beta until about a month ago. I have read pretty much every Dragon Lance, and Forgotten realms book ever printed. My favorite D&D video game was Joust legends I must have spent 10,000 hours playing that game. I normally name melee class characters Beowulf, and casters Fistendantilus.
Hello, allow me to introduce myself, I am ME. lol
And tho I played very little DnD over my vast many years of gaming and er well just living, I am so looking forward to some new and exciting adventures in the Hottest MMO I have seen in a long long time, and I don't say that often. I mean.. I've never invested in a game, other than one other I shall not mention, as much as I have with Neverwinter. Here's to a very long and successful ride.

PS. Where is my founder of the north title???? hrrm huh, hrm?
