We don't have a tech section so I'm putting this here.

My idea is if we can all post our pc spec (pics optional lol ) when beta rolls around it may be of use when we run into technical bugs.

So here's my baby:

case: Coolermaster HAF932
PSU: Antec EA 750watt
RAM: 2x2g G-SKILL DDR3-1600mhz 9-9-9-24
Mb:Gigabyte GA-P55-UD4P
CPU: i5-750 @4ghz
GPU: 2x XFX HD 5770 1024 GDDR5 crossfire
cooling: Noctua NH-D14
storage: 500g x7200rpm
display:47" 1080p sony bravia hdtv

I'm using windows 7 home premium.

pic3

She's not new but she still gets the job done. Would like to get a nice ssd in her.

I love my Haf xd and would love to see a pic of how yours is looking :) Mine is just straight as is.

Only thing I find annoying is the blue leds in front. Mine's hooked up to my main hdtv so when i lie down on the couch at night and watch movies I have to hide the led otherwise it feels like I'm being stabbed in the eye by the light lol

I am pretty sure people would avoid to group with me after this one but...

Unless I can get the game working on Linux, I would be using my laptop. As I feel uncomfortable using keyboard with laptop, I would be using its keypad - and because when I use keypad - I would be using touchpad instead of mouse too... unless I pvp - then I will have no choice but to use mouse and keyboard...

Though specs on my laptop are quite high (can run complex mathematical simulation problems), so specs aren't much of a problem for me.

The one I built my brother was built for looks as well as function while mine is simply a beast which has yet to work a sweat running anything (not counting the fact the original power supply failed)

Just got this beast back in May. I have been able to run everything on the highest settings and have it as smooth as possible. Definitely worth the cost. Plus it was stress tested several times so its built to last. It was built through DigitalStorm and I am very happy with the result. :D

    *sigh*
Well I can't brand name/model everything and I keep updating. This is from memory with a high level of confidence... Yeah, I know my PC pretty well since I constantly tinker with it lol

    Chassis Model: Cooler Master Elite
    Processor: Intel Core i5 3330
    Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77X-D3H
    System Memory: 2x 4GB DDR3 1600MHz
Hard Drive: 1TB SATA 3 on 6Mb port
Video Card: 1x Gigabyte (Nvidia) 1GB... Mmmmm GTX650 I think??
    Sound Card: Onboard *shrug*
Power Supply: 750W but brand... Er. Thermaltake, I think.
Cooling: Single older fan. It does the job, but is slightly noisy.
    Display: ASUS 24" 1920 x 1080 I forget the details.

    Upgrades on the list:
    • A couple of new silent fans.
    • Add 2x more 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
    • Add an SSD drive for system disk and reinstall

No, but when I turn it off, it kind of sounds like a jet engine powering down.
