Hey guys Ive been on the Neverwinter facebook page and it is a mess of comments which all could easily be answered on the forums. I have been trying to point some people to these forums to get answers, but I think if 1 or 2 more people are assuring people that they can get answers and help on the forums I think things will go a little better.

There are some plebeians I don't go near. Facebook comments are one of them. Youtube comments are another.
Reason is only done if consensual not forced. They have to WANT to go elsewhere but many just want an instant answer to their instant wall posting.

You are right but I am hoping this will help a little. I am especially trying to get info to those who say they are CO or STO lifetime subscribers or Torchlight 2 preorderers as apparently most dont know a lot about when keys for beta will be sent out. hopefully it help bring a few people to the forums as that is the direction I am pointing them.

As if the Beta Anxiety Thread isn't long enough! LOL...swarms of new people asking the same question, "When's it going to start?" Seriously, it is my belief that folks that are truly interested will find their way here. It's a sort of Darwinian approach.
I don't support darwinism. I am more in favor of an animist approach. Offering to the plastic dolly causes disciples to appear spontaneously. Can you relate ?
I am not sure but I know if you have a mess of wild squirrel eventually the dog is gonna tree some of 'em. So hopefully me pointing them to the forum saying we have beta info, which we do, they will come I know all of them want but hopefully I get a few. Plus I make sure to tell them that if you sign-up for an account that you have a chance at getting beta at some point. so I guess I am trying to bait them to get over here a bit.
Please forgive me if you dont understand my Southern US analogies.

Feel free to post that yourself (again) if you wish over there, and we'll see who shows up here. But to say why I am not doing it personally as to their mindset over on Facebook, as y'all might:

I'm not touching Facebook with a thousand foot pole. Ever.
Like others said if they truly care they'll read the description and follow the links to the actual website. There's no hope in educating the Facebook or any other social media crowd. Cold, harsh and yet entirely true when the majority of the people on Facebook don't understand everything on the internet is public information regardless of any setting you place on it.

Most comments on Youtube are 4e bash and pure hate. I fully support elitism, in this case.
When writing on facebook, instead, i try to use "honey to catch our flies", if i can use St. Francois de Sales words. I directly write a link to this forum, which has one of the best communities in the net.

I only use Facebook for communication and sharing with Family and Real Life close friends. I play the occasional FB Game when beckoned enough by family to help them with "gifts" - but Zynga has burned me too many times to really enjoy their games anymore. Other than communicating and sharing with family and friends, I try not to do too much else with Facebook.

Ironically they are not on Facebook, and would type fewer private things online
