before a cleric is needed to be summoned. When he regains consciousness, he states he has no idea what he said. When asked, all he remembers is awakening suddenly like something is wrong, a wrenching feeling, then arriving in the tavern before losing consciousness.

after smacking the mountain dew off off truth, and watching with some mild amusement as he is bewildered by the presence of someone not quite recognizable, and pretty sure i can get away before he is paying attention.. YES!!! by pure chance, the outgoing delivery to the yonder area is on schedule.. and i see that i am not the only one interested... the elf displaying signs of being anagonistic suddenly walks to the new character.. "i dont like you, thunderspank".. to which i have to say, "doesnt much matter who you like, i suspect"...

Pyr looks up at the obnoxious one as Grogin grabs both flagons of ale and quaffes them down quickly as he stands. Stepping between the table and thunderspanker the growls. " Aye. a mighty fine suspicion. Who the girl like and dislikes need not be yer concern boy!"

Tappin on his axe on his belt the dwarf smiles "Go about your business, I just saved yer life.. this time."

Pyr stands slowly, her movements graceful and voice soft, " Sit old friend she motions to the dwarf as she move to a more open area of the taproom. Her eyes never leaving thunderspanker. " If he wishes to prove himself against a drow on the surface.." Pyr bows respectfully " then by all means let him show the futility of not studying his foe first."

Pyr moves slowly , her left shoulder always seems centered toward thunderspaner" He is a mage of some sort, that much is obvious. But there is more to this one it seems." She stops, her clear green eyes staring deep into her would be opponent.

Thaix holds out expression what is mix of amusement and concern. Concern 'cause of very usual reason; he was worried about his life when there is sudden tension between female elf and mad magic missile casting mage, because who knows what kind of display of powers they both could show and what damage it would cause to surroundings? But he was also amused because of recent events which haven't really concerned him much.

thunderspanker, eyeing pyr with some amusement, cracks a sly grin, and lets the darkness from his fingers.. the dark shapes hang momentarily in midair, before disapating, leaving behind the faint smells of incense and brimstone. As a final shape holds everyone spellbound, thunderspanker draws what appears to be a wooden ladle. The dwarf bursts out in laughter that rumbles the walls.
"Look, he is going to stir you. ahahahha".
With a deft spin, the ladle winks out and is replaced by a staff of little descript. It doesnt seem to have any defining characteristics.. but little wisps of darkness seem to flicker across its nearly six foot length, and disappear as they are noticed..
    "A dance then, before introductions?"

The elven fighter watched Pyr with a great deal of growing curiousity. Though only his eyes ever showed it. And when the Mage reveealed his staff he stood. a deep frown creasing his lips.

"One should address Women properly. Tis a dishonour to them and foolishness upon yourself. Even if she be drow. I've a mind to help the lady throw you out, should she ask it."

The elf, without much hesitation withdrew the heavy cloak from his body. revealing once more the mysterious gear he wore beneath.

"So I suggest you stand down."

"One should be careful when talking about drow females. Usually they're more skilled than we males are in everything." he snapped at the elf. "True, this mageling might be drawing doom upon himself but I'd suggest you to watch how you talk about drows, even if they are/were followers of Eilistraee. Because it is known that from "mortal" races no one hates longer or more hatefully than the drow."

Thunderspanker, noticing everyone is in a bad mood, raises his drink, and with a hearty laugh, says, "You get pretty nervous about dancing". and with that, takes ahold of his shadowstaff, and feels its magic mingling with his own.
Not being an idiot, Thunderspank looks around at the crowd, flexes his fingers around the staff, knows his ability to be nimble and quick just skyrocketed. Cant fight the whole crowd, but they wont be touching me, either.
    "Tough crowd. Your play".

Pyr stares into the mage's eyes and with one fluid motion draws the longer of the two swords from her side. The blade come sout smooth and silent. The motion ends when the very edge of the blade barely touches the skin, drawing a single drop of blood. Both hands wrapped around the hilt, arms extended Pyr holds the long slightly curved blade in place, staring. The same fluid motion returns the blade returns to it resting place, sliding into the sheath silently.
Returning to her seat with out a word, she bows her head respectfully to those who would have joined in her aid. As she sits her finger moves in the same motion, tracing the same symbol repeatedly.

Grogin watches the girl for a moment and sighs. He turns his attention to the crowd, grabbing another passing tankard. " Honor!" the Dwarf shouts and raises the tankard. " A force harder to control than any magic." his eyes narrow toward the cazy mage. "A belief stronger than any divine being!" he glaces to the cleric. "And something every warrior wishes to die with." He empties the flagon with 3 quick gulps before slamming it to the table.

Pyr looks over to Thaix and the elf. Her eyes convey both pride and disappointment. then she stands again " Too long have my people have lived with out honor. And for too long have have I heard "Even if they are Drow". She pauses and looks at the elf, " Like it or not WE ARE elves. Not all of us recieved the blessing of Eilistraee upon her death. But that does not change what we hold in our hearts. I will fight to the death to restore the Honor of my people." She looks over to the mad mage, " Which is why you still live. Yor death would bring no honor. Only the shame of the taint Llolth has left upon my people"

(OOC- the symbol Pyr traces is the Kara-Tur symbol for Honor. Her long sword is a Katana, and the short a wakizashi she wears the traditional daisho, her quest to kill Llolth is honor driven. she is Samurai)

the truthseeker simply says the word.

"Many people confuse that word with honor. I'm not saying anyone here has. But be warned many millions have died on that word of false honor. And it allegedly caused the angel of humanity to what the King of Hell is now, that name of his even I do not care to speak.

So fight and even die for honor, but always look into yourself to make sure it is that you fight for...for many of my friends have died from the pride masked as honor...even to those who thought it was honor in themselves."

"So I raise a tankard or glass to honor, and add this....

to honor, may it keep us true and defeat the pride from within!"

And with that, the truthseeker drinks.

*the truthseeker nods that the forsaken sympathy, but he does wish for Mystra to return if one of them could. She always was fair and righteous (in the truly good sense of the word,) when it came to magic and power. But such a thing of resurrecting a god is beyond him if not even Elminster.*

*A womans chuckling can be heard from the darkest corner of the rafters.*

*She jumps down to the floor. All that can be seen as she stands is her long black hooded cloak with silver trim swirling around and strands of beautifully adorned and braided long silver hair pouring out of the hood.*

"Quite the interesting group this. And just when I thought things were about to get juicy." she sighs a mixed bit of disappointment and relief in her breathe. "But at least none will face the wrath of the owner this day. He can be quite the spitfire when the need arises. My name is Kirella formerly of the Darksong and the Tel'Teukiira. Tho I had heard the progeny of this city's current lord has once again brought up the banner of the Moonstars in Waterdeep. Quite exciting! It has been quite some time since I was last there."

    *Looks toward truthseeker and Pyr.*

"Good seeker and sister, do not despair, for our gods have many ways of skirting the toil of death just as all who are known do. And as for honor, to all that hold it and believe so with deepest regard shall receive, in time, it back in full." as she spins to look at all in the room "Much as trust too is earned and given in equal respects."

*Hearing the warnings of the "owner" not being called plus the words of rebirth and call for song and dance, causes the truthseeker to act.

Taking a small but full pouch, he tosses it to Imogene and states,*

"Get Rodrick, we deserve a good show tonight."

*The "wench" nods and rushes out. Within twenty minutes, there is a *pop* and a bard literally appears on the stage area of the tavern, accompanied with multiple plumes of multi-colored smokes, and noises that often are heard on a spinning fireworks wheel.

Without a moment's hesitation or even introduction, Roderick launches into a hearty roaring [Gaelic] jig with his band...*

band, where did they come...wait, this s Roderick, do I have to ask...only thing I have to wonder if if they are real or phantasmal...and who cares which they are of they're that good?!

Watching this curious display, Thunderspank decides he likes this person.. Fluidly moving from his position, he plants a kiss square on her cheek, and flexes into incorporeal..
"I shall leave you all to your own devices, with a wink and a drink."
Floating effortlessy away, Thunderspank wonders where he may tempt fate next....

"Lady, if you'd like to restore our "honor" you would have to change the society. It is the society what makes us what we are. Just look at me. I am a roguef. But if i would've been born in, lets say, Ched Nasad I most likely would be a fighter and puppet to matriarchs now instead of rogue. But i was born in village ruled by Vhaeraunites, not in Ched Nasad. I don't really care about gods, expect that i want Vhaeraun to stay dead and Lolth to die someday. Society teaches drows to become sadistic, evil, "honorless" people what most of us are. Someone could say that everyone expect for followers of Eilistraee. And I dare to say, you cant change society alone or in one generation. It should be done slowly in my opinion." Thaix explains to this unusual drow female.

*The truthseeker snorts.* "Honor is what you do, not claiming what you did or what was done to you. I do not knock anybody's life, but there will come times when you must choose what you do and why you do it. DO you take to feed yourself or to live comfortably for example could be a question. Do you use your talents no matter how they are viewed by others to benefit those others or to benefit yourself? All things can offer a choice, and even the rich...nay, especially the rich have opportunity and training many of us could never see, yet they do terrible things if they are insulated from others because they lack empathy and moral consequence.

So like the lycanthrope that has the evil in its bloodline, once you know, do you choose to fight for what's right using your skills to benefit, or do you cave to personal selfishness and let what is evil dominate your moment?

While not always this extreme in life, and in no way am I saying any race other than what I explained is evil; the parable does make its point: Choose to use your talents how you can, and make your own path, and accept the results of those choices as your own."

Her finger presses hard into Thaix's chest, " When what is in here, matches what is in your head, you will know and see your path of honor." Her eyes begin surveying Thaix from head to toe, like a stern instructor evaluating a student. "There is a secret honor for those who strike from the shadows. Percise, effective and saves against open war." Her words that follow clarify her meaning, " They will not be celebrated or remembered by name only by deed."

"I may have sometime been something with honor but not anymore. Since you seem to want to teach me about honor let me ask you two questions first. I assume that you had at least your friend the dwarf there to guard your back and help you during hardships so have you ever faced anything alone? Have you been betrayed by your companions just because your a drow? You may be obsessed with honor but we're all not like that. We all have our own ideals, own paths, even when you want to restore honor to our people or even just me" Thaix said, grinning "Its not like we all want our honor back. Or that we think that we could get our honor back. And also, about restoring honor to our people by killing Lolth; Eilistraee herself failed in this. so did Vhaeraun. So what do you think, how you could defeat her or her servants? And lets assume for a moment that you did succeed in this. Drow city states would be thrown into total chaos and disarray while you would be at Lolth's domain all alone or with friends what i dont know anything about. There still would be matriarchs. So in some way we could say that after cutting snake of its head there would grown dozens of little heads what you would need to cut before your Restoring, if we call it that would be success. And rogues needs to be precise, effective and to hide in shadows. I wouldn't call it our "honor" but rather our needs."

Grogin steps between Pyr and Thaix. "Allow me explain for the girl. He sets his empty tankard down and for the first time this night he doesn't reach for a full one. " 100 years in the unapproachable east has changed her. She's missed alot of the events that have changed our realms." He pats the drow on the back and smiles " Ye'll be fine boy. She has a strange way of showing she approves of ye and she not wanting you thinking yerself as only a rogue." He looks over at Pyr then back to Thaix, " As far as betrayals.. she betrayed everything her family had tried to achieve. Her mother was a devote priestess of Eilistraee as was her sister and grandmother. She left them behind to learn the ways of war and find a greater 'Glory' than the life in service to a church." He looks Thaix in the eyes " Much like yerself she needs to find where she belongs, surrounded by friends she can count on. She lost everything," he lowers his voice so only Thaix can hear " including herself."

"Aye ," Grogin says to Thaix. "100 or more winters pasted since I last seen the girl before this past Shieldmeet." A look of deep compassion crossed the Dwarf's face " She had come to show her skill to her family." Looking back to Thaix, as he grabs a passing filled mug, " Well, you know what happened to most of the devote of Elistraee."

Pyr approaches Thaix, " No disrespect was meant." She bows humbly her eys lowered, "Accept my sword as a companion and protection and perhaps we could learn from each other." She hold her bow awaiting response from Thaix. Her posture even when bowed is perfect, her form motionless.

Grogin looks at the girl, still amazed at the ridgid disipline she displays, then to Thaix, " Well boy?!?" his tone mirthful yet gruff. Watching the two drow.

We, at least I indeed could learn by doing teamwork." Thaixs mouth turns to a slight smile "But things such as this are not needed to be discussed here, because aren't we all here after all to rest, not to talk about what tomorrow brings even if there maybe is a need to do so?
