This thread is to report bugs related to the new Bard class. Please do not report previously discovered bugs (either on live or on preview) or general feedback. All unrelated comments will be moved so that the team can better focus on the new Bard issues on PC.

- You can have multiple Serenade marks active at once. I believe it may just be a visual bug, though.
- Hovering over Forte in the character sheet shows an "untranslated" instead of the bard's forte stats.

The encounter description says the 50% bonus only applies to the target, but the buff bar says it applies to the target and yourself.

Not sure what is my source of healing (I am DPS) below is my feat build. I did not use Rejuvenating Carol during the run either.

Harmonize: This passive does not add any bonus to Action Point gain.
Critical Tuning/Truly Inspired: Ballad of the Witch is not proccing the Critical Tuning and Truly Inspired passives.
Steel March: The initial hit of Steel March is using projectile damage rather than the stated physical damage.
Ballad of the Hero/Witch: The procs of Ballad of the Hero/Ballad of the Witch cannot score Critical Hits.
Redoublement: Hitting any encounters during the Redoublement buff window automatically gives you Improvised Volti Subito/Ad Libitum, even if you don't have the Performer feat.
Grandstand/Performer: When hitting 30 stacks of Playing to the Crowd, the damage bonus to Ballad of the Hero/Witch procs is not doubled.
Grandstand/Performer: If you use the Grandstand daily on Ballad of the Hero/Witch, you don't get Hero's/Witch's Finale.
Performer with Ad Libitum/Duet: Ad Libitum/Duet can sometimes get "stuck": you press the attack buttons and the animation plays, but no damage is applied to the enemy. From what I observed, this only occurs with the Inspirational versions of those powers given by the Performer feat.
Minstrel Forte: An error was made when copying the DPS Forte onto the Minstrel Forte.
This is a bard fashion set that you can buy for 100k AD but currently the only item in the set that works is the hat.
The pants, legs, chest, gloves are bugged and can not be previewed (invisible) nor made into appearance items.
Please fix this, issues like this is just so sloppy.

2) In the description and discussions of the module it was said that since experience is removed from the game, the bonuses that increased it will be replaced with bonuses to the character's speed, however, in items that previously gave a bonus to experience, this function is simply removed. Only stats left.
Perhaps it was conceived, but nowhere voiced. Or maybe there is a flaw in the replacement of the bonus.

I'm trying to get a video of it, but many times Duet seems to get into a stuck state where you can cast it over and over and over and over with no cooldown. I'm not sure if it's actually doing damage or just a visual thing while the encounter is on cooldown. OBS recording now to catch the next time it happens and I'll look for damage floaters.

Pianissimo + Healing Word: The feat is using the wrong values for Healing Word. When under the effect of Pianissimo, Healing Word should be 160 magnitude, not 80 magnitude.
The Pianissimo feat is supposed to reduce all afflicted songs' costs by 20%, but also reduce the potency of their healing magnitude by 20%.
On preview, Healing word originally had a healing magnitude of 100, but was buffed to 200 magnitude after some patches.
If going by the feats' intended design, the feat should reduce the heal over time of Rejuvenating Carol to 160, not 80 magnitude (which is on the old value).
Tab switches to perform mode, but nothing happens when pressing the number keys.
Also the combat animations are not shown while disguised, your powers just seem to happen with no visual indication of the character doing anything.

(Main issue is I can't move around during perform because some of the movement controls used by AZERTY keyboards are replaced by the quickplay controls, and since I can't change them they stop working.)

I can't open them or can't get the rewards because it tells me I already have them but I don't (I double checked lol).
(this might be a pure envy because other classes have to suffer a full cool-down on powers that take longer to recharge or cast)
examples:
1: aoe casting ballad of witch you are disabled for 1.5 sec and the rest of the team kill the mobs or you die or someone else dies because you couldnt use your aoe daze.
2: single target fights trials. you need to cast ballad of hero to buff rest and you miss 1.5 sec of the artifact call....

The tooltip says "If a target is already under the effect of Sheltering Etude, the effect will apply its heal and end immediatly as the new effect is applied."
This only works if the targets health is below 50% already. Otherwise the heal will not be applied.
It is quite unfortunate since the Etude is the most important healing tool for the minstrel path and with the current meta it is needed to fill up the health of your groupmembers before they are below 50% since otherwise some heavy hits or groups of mobs with combat advantage or charge attacks may kill your party members before you may react properly.

the improvized version of contre do not change to the three conditions depending how long you hold it.
improvized dancing lights deal much less damage comparing to others improvized powers.
1. Ad Libitum - with performer feat procs the improvised version but does no damage yet can cast it over and over and see the animation. This can also happen for Dancing Lights and Duet but mainly see it on Ab Libitum.
2. The 50% chance on Ad Libitum does not feel right. 9/10 in a fight I will only be able to use it once. I've noticed that even casting a single at will whilst using Ad Libitum and spamming the key its bound too, does only one hit unlike griffons wrath for fighter which specifically has the number of charges left.
3. Minstrel needs a bit more work IMHO. They hardly can put HoT on and the one they do have costs a lot even with the feat to reduce the cost at the cost of reducing magnitude which we don't need. I was hitting 10-15k HoT on Minstrel where my soulweaver can do anything between 50-80k HoT. Having to rely on Defenders Minuet for singular healing, where in a trial is near impossible, adding an initial heal to Rejuvenating Carol would resolve that too - even something like 350 magnitude would suffice with a guaranteed 150-200 magnitude HoT. Which brings the next point:
4. Sheltering Etude - this skill is confusing. Most people would read it and think that if someone is above 50% HP and have Sheltering Etude on them, then casting SE again would mean they get the 400 magnitude heal and it reapplies SE. Where this is not the case - its only if the ally is under 50% already and you cast SE does it auto heal the 400 magnitude. I suggest rewording this skill or implement what it says it does correctly. Adding the timer above the performance bar would be a great help too as mentioned in an earlier post as well as the Ballad timer, currently there is no way to see when the ballad will end and when to hit tab to finish it off.
5. The delay when you play a song not in a quickslot is ridiculous! That needs to go ASAP or be reduced to literally 0.0001 of a second. 1-2 seconds lost on an artifact call as well as enemies hitting you or you needing to heal an ally, its the difference between life and death or damage vs no damage.
6. Lunge - sometimes I cast this skill and I do the full lunge towards the enemy and it hits them but does no damage. Or I will slide across the floor 3 or 4 times before I eventually hit the enemy.
In general the initial Bard is decent, it still needs attention as DPS and Heal output are lacking a bit, noted that its not meant to be best at either role, performance management for Minstrel is near on impossible, and the one skill we have takes so long for only 1/5 of performance back. This should be increased to say 50-500 the longer you hold it maximum being 500 with a bit of a longer cooldown to compensate.
Hope you guys see this and note what I've found. I'll keep noting down my findings as time goes on but the above are the most major I've found/seen.
