    When every dps run with a vorpal, that means that there is a problem with balance.

    Oh, I think you forgot the healers - they need the critical heal too. ;)

    Watch when you use a "rebalance" word here m8. Few times I checked it means - remove :D

    Is anyone running with other than Radiant in offense slots? I see a recurring issue in the New Neverwinter.

    EDIT: With these changes, Vorpal was reduced because the effectiveness of Critical Severity has increased and to bring it more in line with other weapon enchantment options.

    Further edit, looks like the Vorpal change won't be in the preview update, at Rank 14 the crit severity bonus is now 15%

    Unfortunately, in this case the definition of "Balance" seems to be to try to make Vorpal as useless as every other weapon enchant. Even at only 15% crit severity Vorpal will still be better than all of the others though ... it's a simple mechanics issue - anything that modifies your total damage is pretty much always going to be better than something based off your weapon damage.

    Everything really will depend on the damage formula. The crit severity nerf came about because of the damage formula changing making Vorpal ridiculous. Even reduced to 15% with the new damage formula it still may be the best weapon enchant. The only ones people will argue are the DoT damage ones but honestly I dont see those as great ... do a small damage over 5 secs, or do 15% more damage instantly (on crit).... time will tell ... but don't go throwing away your vorpols just yet.

    I notice this thread was stopped DEAD by 1 enchant nerf.
