I just want a PvP mode that gives the gear to do PvP but it removes all differences between everyone that you earn in game and only lets players use the PvP gear that they hand out to you at the start of the fight. The differences would be in what powers you use and class you picked to join and nothing else. This type of mode would bring in new players into the PvP community and keep a decent number of players coming into PvP. Having over powered players in PvP was the biggest reason I stopped trying to play it. Each new mod made a different class overpowered and the gearing up of other classes to play them in PvP was too much that I just stopped trying to do it all together. When you have people who can camp an entrance in PvP and one shot the players coming out of it that just makes for a poor PvP session. Having a single player be able to solo the entire other team is also something that just isn't right in PvP and turns off players. Also, the balance of teams isn't done well and having everyone in the same gear and baseline of abilities would allow for balancing of PvP queues based on wins and losses of the players. Having the entry point to get into the content be level 80 would mean that a lot more players would join into this mode. Add in the ability to win better gear from it and graduate into the current no holds bar geared out PvP queue and you would see more players in both types of PvP from a revitalization.

Having a small number of players with the best builds and gear that demolish the other players when entering PvP is going to continue to shrink the PvP population which is the current issue right now.

The broken items that over perform in PvP never get fixed quickly which pushes players out of PvP.

The group of players in PvP being so small that you see the same people over and over doesn't help grow that group. All it takes is one issue with a player your going to see in every queue and you just lost a player who plays PvP.

Making the PvP be limited to players who either put thousands of dollars into the game or thousands of hours is a big issue. Playing with friends who don't have the same financial or time commitment into the game as me makes it hard to play with those same players. Not playing with your friends makes it so much easier to leave the game for players.

All they need to do in pvp is allow for some skins of items be purchasable with zen and PvP campaign currencies from playing PvP and earning achievements in PvP. Say that you can purchase weapon/armor enchants rank 12 for 3000 zen and 200 hours of PvP time (made in currencies). Rank 12 enchantment packs for 2000 zen and 50 hours in PvP time (currencies). Just imagine the amount of players trying to get into PvP when a sale comes up to purchase those items.

I understand where you are coming from and i agree to some extent on that, that is the reason PvP Domination the answer wouldn't be Solo queue, to have evenly matches and also give a proper fightin chance for the new players, there needs to be Categories in the PVP queue, similar to how Random Queue is split in 3 Categories. There is already a thread asking for this, a thread opened like more than 1 year ago:
    https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter/#/discussion/1240181/pvp-category-queues-details

PvP: Intermediate Queue — All level 80 players Enchantments including Weapon and Armor Enchantmenst, Insignias, Mounts, Boons will be Scaled to Rank 7 (Lesser Weapon/Armor Enchantment)
    - This should be a rank that even a new player can afford it, but at the same time as a old veteran you won't have the advantage against your enemy in terms of Gear, but you will have it in terms of Skill.
PvP: Advanced Queue — All level 80 players Enchantments including Weapon and Armor Enchantments , Insignias, Mounts will be Scaled to rank 12 (Perfect Weapon/Armor Enchantment)
    - Same as the Previous Category this should be scaled.
PvP: Expert Queue — Should be left as normal, leaving your items unscaled, but this should be the ONLY queue that counts to ur RANKING in Leaderboard.

ALL of the above queues should grant you some sort of reward:

PvP: Intermediate Queue — 4,000 AD 30 Seals of the Triumph (Repeat: 450 AD / 5 Seals |)
PvP: Advanced Queue — 8,000 AD 40 Seals of the Triumph (Repeat: 800 AD / 10 Seals |)
PvP: Expert Queue — 1,500 Glory 60 Seals of the Triumph (Repeat: 1,000 RP / 20 Seals |)

Also each category should have the following choices, *and i may add on that a Premade Queue on the Expert Queue.

    PvP: Intermediate Queue:
    o Domination Solo
    o Domination
    o GauntleGrym

    PvP: Advanced Queue
    o Domination Solo
    o Domination
    o GauntleGrym
    PvP: Expert Queue
    o Domination Solo
    o Domination
    o GauntleGrym
    o Domination Premade

Domination Premade should be a Queue specific to Teams, and there should be a Graphic user interface to create/form your Team: https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter#/discussion/1238432/req-team-competitive-queue-for-domination-details
This thread explains these things in a more detail...
So creating this Platform will ultimately improve players and make PvP grow as a community.

Now i will give you 1 example, if i am a item level 30k and i want to PVP, i can choose one of those categories Intermediate or Advanced and i will be scaled down, if i do not want to be scaled down i will just play Expert Queue, so everyone gets a change at that, obviously Gear like Armor, Helmet, Arms, Boots, Necklace, Artifact Equipment, Artifacts i think these should remained unscaled, the reason for that they are easy to aquire, and i think people should work for them, sure you can say they are hard to get, but come on if you dont grind a bit, what is the point of even playin the game?
What you posted would be nice and I could get behind it. The issue is that there is a limited player base and really having more than 2 queues unless you get more than half the player base into the game will mean that there isn't enough queue pops to entice the masses. That is why I would suggest a Limited queue and Expert queue with players in the queue balanced based on a rating system. The system would take in opponent winning percentages and your winning percentage to make the balance.

Just putting in rewards into the same system will kill the PvP experience for players since you're leaving all of the negatives into that experience. The rewards will need to be a LOT higher than what they are proposing to get the numbers into PvP that they need. League of Legends found that there was a correlation with how many people want to play based on how close in ability you keep players when starting a match. If players felt that the match was unbalanced you eventually lost more players based on the larger the imbalance and reduced the player pool. The issue right now is that there is a HUGE distance between a new player and a veteran that skill alone can't break. The best thing to do right now is to shrink the differences between the two to make an incentive for players to play. Eventually rewards will wear out and everyone will have those rewards. If they make the rewards too scarce then players won't play pvp. This means that if you make a balanced pvp where players are VERY close in starting capabilities you will have pvp forever. If you try to balance the pvp numbers on rewards that is fine until the rewards run out.

Teaching a man to fish means food for life. Giving a man fish means you need to catch another when they are hungry again.

Yeah that’s why I said more ppl will pvp if the playing field is level. I suggest everyone will have to start pvp with the beginner armor sets and wpn sets. U can still have some variations, like focus on arpen or crit or defence etc. U wanna pvp, u go to trade of blades and they hand u the beginner armor sets for free. U can then q for beginner pvp dom. Mount insignias, Comp bonuses, artifacts and even pve enchantments are deactivated. There will be pvp enchantments that u have to earn thru pvp. These will provide some advantages but not too much. U earn currency to buy pvp set for more advanced q when ur team wins in pvp. When u have a full advanced set (armor, wpn, enchantments) u can then q the advanced q. I think this will help to level pvp and get ppl bk to pvp. And it is ez to implement. Cos at the start, everyone will have to start from the beginner set and q. So it’s like a clean slate.
I also suggest different q for 1v1 up to 3v3. And a different q for 5v5. 1v 1 up to 3 v 3, there’s no domination. It’s just fight. 5v5, it’s domination w only premades. There will be rewards for these q. Of cos, 5v5 domination pm v pm will have the most rewards. How to make sure ppl do not abuse? Allow the fights to be viewed by the public. If any abusive, toxic behaviour is found then public will report these players. Players can be suspended or banned from pvp if too toxic or even suspended to being banned from game. I’m even thinking that this 5v5 dom pm v pm has esport potential if implemented properly. What do u guys think?

Before the solo queue premades wrecked everyone and everything in their path, making it impossible for anyone to PvP if you were not part of a premade. The usual match was premade vs 5 scrubs and it was a slaughter. It was so bad I remember several times queuing in with 4 of my guild members and having the other team all bail immediately upon seeing we all had the same guild tag. So the PvP community went the the forums "We want a solo queue! Premades are ruining PvP". After people asked for several modules in a row, the devs finally gave in and added a solo queue and after that the premade queue has been basically empty since ... Why? Because the premades didn't really want to fight each other, they enjoyed slaughtering the scrubs! In fact, premades would synch queue and use a few questionable tricks to all end up on the same team in a solo queue match so they could keep doing it.

    >

    > If premades REALLY wanted to fight other premades, there is a queue JUST for that now ... and lets be honest, that queue is so empty and unused if you find another premade it's easy to make sure you end up in a match with them as there is NOBODY else in the queue. The solo queue has only killed the premade queue because the majority of people seem to prefer to play without premades .... and thus use the solo queue.

Yes, the reason why premades left is simple: we tried to keep a proper etiquette for years, but eventually the solo queuers won, in premades you wouldnt have seen broken items being used, if you are tryin to say that premades were lookin afters scrubs you are dead wrong.. its not premades that are lookin after scruba, its those weaklings that are bad at pvp and hide in solo queue and they would usr every broken item and ober gear others in solo queue so they can get a nice spot in ranking.. in fact the behaviour you say that premades done was the opposite, solo queue doesnt encourage fair play and it doesny teach players that, it only shows how toxic pvp can be, i already mentioned few of those reason, and yes trading caps is still making pvp toxic.

Another reason why solo queue was desired, is to have a quick match, but you cant have a good match if players are pushed into a pvp where everyone plays haotic, therefor the quality of players will definitely decrease, thats why premades are needed.. its like in every other major esport out there, u cant say that esport teams arent making the game to be competitive, cause those are the champions that everyone admire.. except in neverwinter being good you arent allowed.. even in PvE a good run is always the one in private queue, any trial or dungeon you will prefer to do it in private queue, thats how pvp it is, but because there are so many weak players theyr prefer to fight in solo que so they meet weaker players than them, why should this be even a argument?

Pvp is meant to be challenging and competitive, it should be a way to test your strengths against others, and premades is the strongest form a pvp can offer, so if you do pvp why dont you want to form a premade of urself and your friends and beat other premades?

The thing is pvp domination is played 5 v 5 and not solo, pvp in this game is meant to be played togheter as a team, but in solo queue you only care about ur rating, infact i ve seen solo queue players so desperate about that rankin that they would jump on a alt, and they would throw games if they meet another players that might surpass them in leaderboard..

Why cant you see that this behaviour of solo queuers has ruined the pvp game for everyone?

Premades are a team of 5, anythin lowers than 4 players isnt a premade, stop sayin premades tried to get in solo queue, because those were always duo and trio queue people tryin to play togheter, and who wouldnt want to play togheter with their friends?

The solo queue mentality doesnt encourage a increase in pvp, its just dividing everyone to play as a individual, you can see the power of premade groups in trials, even the latest trial cant be finished without a premade..

Anyway those players that choose premade doesnt mean they are bad as solo queue players, its just they found out that solo queue isnt competitive at all so they quit.. but any players that used to do premades is goin to play better than any other solo queuer so im sorry to say this, but pvp doesnt have a future if pvp encourages you to be selfish and play for urself rather than forming a team and fight the best out of the best.

    Blah Blah Blah

Wall of text and it still doeasnt change a fact that que for premades is empty.... it is still out there but somehow no1of those honourable, comapetitive not using broken items pvp oriented players want to use it...... and the only answer is - becouse theygona find there other of their kind - and thay dont want that - simple as that

I'm pretty much in agreement with gorylancet. Mod 16 reset pve, mod 17 should do the same for pvp. It's the only way to ensure a whole new population of pvpers.
No idea what my toon is now.

PvP needs to have one random match type distinctly aimed at PvE players:

Any player could join random queues and the teams would be balanced by Win/Loss ratio in the previous 30 days. The random queues would give 1 big daily AD award plus tokens to buy either PvP gear or PvE stuff. This would bring a giant wave of PvE players over. Right now PvE players avoid PvP cause.. unless you are a specialist with top-end gear, or in a pre-designed team... you will lose nearly every match. Also, there are no incentives that can be applied to PvE. Having one match type that PvE players enjoy will go along way toward transitioning players over to the real PvP arenas just by generating interest and some experience.

A PvE based game with some PvP extend

Besides the fact that there are pure PvP MMO games out there (like ESO) you always have folks who have PvP demands in a PvE based game, they are doing this kind of stuff in every PvE based game..
    For what reason ???
Getting relief for their shortcoming's in Real Life????

    But I have a solution...
Dev's should create a pure PvP version of Neverwinter and put it on a PvP flagged server..
Remove all PvP players from the PvE version and drop them on that server...

    Isn't that a great idea ???
