Well you have to be reminded that most codes of this type are time-limited, or first come - first served, so it's almost predictable that they wouldn't work after so many months. At least you got something unique. I get a lot of the potions and fashion ones. Hope this means I'll be luckier with lockboxes!

After redeeming the codes, claim your treasure using the "Claim items" button on the home page (the window that pops up when you load your character in), or from the Reward Merchant in Protector's Enclave (On the left side of the stairway up to Lord Neverember, opposite to the Promotional Vendor)
