Votekick is not working properly in Pirate King

So I had a Pirate King run with what was obviously a bot:
Low gear, no guild, jerky and strange movements, and no response to attempts to communicate.

I tried to votekick, but game would not allow me to start a votekick on him even after 15 minutes in zone.

It is not the first time I experience this - it is often impossible to start votekick on suspected botters.

Votekick seems to not be working properly.. or is it some trick the botters use to disable it?

While I would prefer that Cryptic took more offensive action on botters, at least give us a working votekick to stop them with?

    I think the vote kick is busted in a few places where/when you can kick. Hopefully the devs are working on an overhaul of the kick system. I would like to see

    1) Ability to kick after three minutes. So afks can be jettisoned before short skirmishes end. And to be able to clear disconnects faster in POM and ToDG

    2) Ability to kick from IG. So people who don't want to be in gold runs can be kicked from it. Not that it would benefit the gold runners, but it may make some of them feel better if they remain committed to gold even though some "leech" may benefit from their hard work

    I know the team is looking at ways to improve the votekicking system but I'll also escalate this specific issue for investigation. Thanks!

    the reason to do bronze on ig its because ig is on random skirmish tag, and i dont like spend more than bronze rank when doing random skirmish, i would recommend you to do private queue groups for ig gold runs. about pom and totdg disconnects it happens that a lot of player crash while loading those idk why, sometimes they come back, or sometimes they say fk it im out.

    'The' team. Not 'her' team. She is the conduit for information. If you want that conduit to dry up even further, keep wording your posts to sound like attacks. Just my two cents.

    Information would be a post telling us what is happening, what they think possible problems and solutions are...and the big one is when something is happening.

    These issues have been going on since late October last year, close to six months now, with absolutely nothing said except that some team is looking into it (excluding one skirmish removed to remove the 10k item level needed for skirms, and I think it was shards re-added to normal dungeons).

    The whole random queue fiasco was, allegedly, designed and implemented to fix a set of problems that were not really major problems. The way random queues work created far more major problems than they solved.

    And these are most definitely attacks, think of these attacks as being me calling them on their bull. For far too long have we been fed the line that these issues are talked about every day. Within a few days most of the core problems with random queues, all flavours, had been identified by the people actually playing them. Within a few weeks almost all problems had been talked to death. Plenty for their team to talk about, nothing done to fix anything and RQ's are still the freeloaders and bots best friends...but they are still talking every day so everything must be good.

    Even I noticed that @nitocris83 title was "Member, Administrator" not "Game Designer, Programmer", so just getting someone willing to pass on the information to those who are actually in a position to effect change is probably as good as it gets at this point.

    The "information" you got was they'll pass it on to those who can do something about it...

    Just because it wasn't the response you wanted - or the time table to resolve issues you happen to have, doesn't mean you didn't get a response or they aren't working on them.

    As for the rest of the posted elitist diatribe - it is what it is, I just consider the source.

    So when you right click on your character avatar you don't have the "Abandon Map/Instance" option, or you are unable to ESC "Change Character"?

    I have to strip naked to be able to die. If the party looks kind of weak, I'll go through the trouble to die so not to give them buffs or be an aggro target. Often, there is someone well geared enough and willing to carry the group to gold. Then I may just disconnect if I have something else to do. Even if I remain in the instance until they finish, it's usually shorter than the leave penalty.

    Yes, I do have a few +4 pieces from afk xD. Normally it's just a salvage for me. But I save them to use to troll people who yell at me for "leeching". After all, the only way a "leech" can benefit is if someone carries them to gold.

    Another run with a bot, this time in GWD. A level 61 GF with all white gear...

    As usual no response to chat.

    And as usual they had used some trick to disable votekick.

    Please at least make us able to boot them. They are *really* annoying.
