Okay so now im caught in an infinite loop with my control wizard trying to refine an artifact neck piece. I need 2.5k refinement points to be able to refine blue into purple. I put the points in and press refine, i hear the refinement noise but nothing happens. After bushing the button 20 times i still have no response. I log out and back in and what do you know? Same problem. This is a joke, these problems were nowhere near as bad under the old system, why did you try to fix what wasn't broken? Now my artifact piece is eternally blue because refinement is broken

I hard rebooted about 3 days ago. Next time this happens i will get video for you because its annoying. The game acknowledges that i have the points and enough refining stones. If i hit refine the screen doesnt change but i hear the refinement noise. Then the game highlights the wards box, so i insert a ward thinking maybe it will fix the issue but no. Constant loop until i dashboard or switch off the console.

Did you manage to fix this issue? I havent found a way outside of dashboarding

Admittedly once in a while i do get server disconnects but it doesnt match up with the refinement issues. It is very possible that its a connectivity issue at my end though.

We recently fixed the issue where player's refinement points were being used up without actually refining. Unfortunately the UI portion of that issue stayed in place so that's why players are seeing that weird "it's not refining" state. We are working on this but in the meantime, exiting the refinement interface/window and entering it again should remove the issue for the duration of the time you are in the game. You shouldn't have to log out of the game entirely to resolve this.

Thankyou very much for looking into this and responding. Unfortunately logging out of the game entirely has been the only effective workaround when this problem arises. It isn't a regular occurance but an extremely annoying one to say the least.
In the meantime i will test my connection more and see if any issues are at my side, but now i see many other people sharing the same complaint.

I think all we can really do is wait it out for the game devs to put out a fix ): i feel your pain though

Have you found any kind of fix even if its only temporary?
A little time consuming, but less hassle.
