How are teams forming in the supposed solo queue

I am tired of waiting and seeing it go to 9 out of 10 over and over until it finally launches and low and behold there 3 to 5 in the exact same team?? Talk about irritating. I am about to say screw the whole thing. Are they wusses that can't handle the actual other teams or they get their jollies fighting people who think they are fighting solos. Whats the point of offering solo if it does not work? Come on devs make something happen if you want to grow it. As of right now its just not fun. Tried 3 times solo tonight and fought teams all 3 times.

    They queue up at the same time

    "3.....2.........1.... Q" and try to get on the same team. It's completely exploitable. However there are times where you could be paired up on the opposing teams against your friend or whoever you wanted to be with.

    Is there some reason why maybe one person would keep making the que fail like 2 or 4 times in a row, have their team quit, then all of them sign up again? That seems like a good way to exploit it and make ti seem fail safe which seems to be what has been happening and making the solo que a joke.

    So, you queue up for a solo match, play it to the end, then everyone gets an option to stay or leave. After all spots are filled, teams shuffle, map resets. Rinse and repeat (could limit the number of times maps reset to avoid exploitation). Just a thought.

    Oh wait players cant throw the match when they are on the opposite team then...umm they can

    oh wait players from the same alliance and guild should never be pair on the same team together lol
    wait players on your friends list should never be on your team and people on your ignore list should always be on the opposite team or not in the match blah blah blah

    oh wait players are syncing q to actually be on opposite team on purpose as well..

    oh wait the population is so high even not trying to sync q good likely hood someone you know or hate will be in the match

    the system can be gamed eitherway if people dont want to fight, want to throw or sabotage the match they will
    if guildies dont want to attacks each other cause of some potential stupid alliance drama they wont

    I made my suggestion with most of that in mind. If you get into a good match, with good players, at the very least you could have a shot at one more good match before trudging through the queue again.

    There would be very simple solution to the problem. When you solo q, there is no accept button, only decline. If you you reject the solo Q - you can't "Q" again for 10 min. That simple.

    I'd be happier with a simple solution: Once everyone has accepted, randomise the teams. So the teams aren't "first five vs second five", and you could sync queue to make sure you play with your friends, but you'd have reasonably good odds of having to kill them instead of them being on the same side as you.

    Solo que should be random, no syncing at all. Even if you sync and end up on opposite sides it undermines the point of having a random queue.

    Syncing in solo queue is the most cancerous thing Ive heard about PvP in a long time. People who do that should just uninstall the game tbh xD
    BiS players doing that must have really low self esteem to enjoy pug stomping instead of trying to 5v5 in priv queue.

    +1, I can't comment if that's what some teams/guilds are doing because I can't understand the mindset at all, smh.

    Two potential suggestions to combat this issue:

    1) Q forces rainbow on each side (doesn't have to match comp just no 2 of a class this coding can just basically be copy pasted from existing PVE requirements for dungeons) while at the same time dividing players from the same guild equally between the two teams (I know it's a bit of extra coding).

    2) Removing the /10 which tells players how many players have accepted is removed and players are not put into the match based on the order of acceptance but a second randomized roll when all players have accepted determines their assigned team(again I know some extra coding).

    The "exploit" it appears these players are using is easily thwarted with a few lines of code. An extra layer of randomization or an extra layer of ordering, either way you can solve the problem.

    Waaaaait a minute, has solo queue come back to the X1 and I have missed it or something?

    I think when the recent threads about solo queue we're started there was a solo queue event going on PC, it wasn't on PS4, and if you are asking I'm assuming it wasn't on Xbox either. Most likely over now. Pretty sure permanent solo queue comes with 12b.

    The reason it pops multiple times is people are dodging the pm they know are queing. This happens at all times event or no event . If leader boards have reset i don't even both queing since there is multiple pm's queing for board standings and they que dodge each other . Now I play on xbox so I can't speak for PC or PS whether not this is the case as well . Truth is most high end pvp players on xbox won't que alone because they don't want to lose board standing or get spawn farmed. Have to say some will solo but the list of those is very small.

    I'd like to name and shame the guild .Forsaken Rebels. for doing this queue decline exploit, had 2 declines followed by 3 of them in the same match.

    I know quite a few from the population of forsaken players and maby a few forsaken people abuse this but can not say I think the majority are but there is a tornado of people that does this on a very regular basis. It is also a tornado of people never attacking eachother in matches or helping other teammates being attacked by a tornado of other people. This tornado of people is one of the biggest reason to broken matches atm in pvp.

    It is hilarous to see how they not only abuse single q but also destroy the very essence of how the pvp matches are made to work...

    and guild leaders not wanting to deal with "drama" that pvp killing other players causes.. cause they have week minded /spined players..

    True but when you are in a very active guild with many that pvp in a low pvp population the impact becomes so much larger. It is kind of ok not when the behavior do not effect the outcome of the match but to watch 2 from same guild kill others and stand still and watch loosing the match it is another thing all together.

    If I have a guildie or close friend on othter team fighting 2-2 or the like I myself often pick the other first and give my guildie/friend a chanse to run but if he stays on node and we have to take it to win he dies no hard feelings for that same goes the other way ofc.

    But yea I know some are Merciless and even threaten to kick guildies that attack the Merciless from guild.....

    I believe another possible solution here is to take an opposite direction and make PvP take place on persistent maps you could have access to only from the trade of blades and would reset when matches end. Teams stay, maybe shuffle at times. A map could start as low as 1 v 1 and work up to 10 v 10 as ppl join. This would be total transparency, meaning, you get to see everyone on each team (name, class, IL) before you join and should also be able to see this at any time while you are in the map. You get put on the team that needs you most when joining, no queueing. Yes ppl will stack on teams, but you would be able to see this happening and leave if you wanted (for no penalty i believe is best).

    Rewards could be limited, conditional (require a minimum amount of players or minimum score both teams have to hit for example), or scaling (best rewards for full teams, lesser rewards for lower amounts of players). No rewards if you join after current map started.

    I wrote the above text a month ago or so, and it saved. Don't know why I didn't post it, and really don't care at this point. This game started in 4e and has transitioned into 5e. So, you are trying to accommodate two different rule sets? Really? You think it will work, and balance itself? WoTC should be ashamed of where everything is at right now.

    Yeah i heard about that merciless guy and we also talked in pm channel but i forgot his name.
    Anyway if i see someone from my friends list or a guild i always go for them first, i figure its a great honour for them that i attack them first and acknowledge them as a player in that way.
    I even gank them sometimes which also tells them i do not underestimate them.
    Now if they dont see it that way ,well i can tell them how it is or let it slide if they are good friends, if not
    well i can be bit meaner.
    So yeah i dont see the problem in killing, losing, winning, as long as its somewhat balanced.

    A lot of them are also soloing 9 or 10 players. I don't know how many times my team just sits there right off the cap. And then just watches me get beat up! I totally agree Solo is a joke, it's no better than regular solo, and may be worse. Since if they can control both teams, they can all continue to just rack up points. It's also not fun.

    I think that they need to have it so you can report games were you expect cheating, have the penalize the players, like not letting any character on their account play in PVP for 30 days 1st offense, 90 days second offense, and then banned from PVP for life.

    This would be extremely easy to abuse. Player versus Player would turn into Report versus Report.

    Yeah, PvP population isn't high enough, why? I am really happy for the old players with IL14k+, with transcended enchantments, with lvl10+ enchantments in every slot, but imagine somebody, who install the game the first time now, and reach lvl70 from scratches. How much time to get proper equipment for pvp? Months? More like years! Last time I TRIED to hit somebody at a node, for 3 MINUTES of constant hitting, he didn't do anything. Just sitting there and enjoyed the scraping of his back. Then got bored, and killed me with one hit, it wasn't even critical!
    You CANNOT play pvp for years, or until you didn't spend hundreds of euros for zen.
    In pvp they should rank the gamers like they do below lvl70, because as it is now, the newbies always need to "fight" against 14k+ deathstars, and they start to hate pvp from the beginning.
