I am tired of waiting and seeing it go to 9 out of 10 over and over until it finally launches and low and behold there 3 to 5 in the exact same team?? Talk about irritating. I am about to say screw the whole thing. Are they wusses that can't handle the actual other teams or they get their jollies fighting people who think they are fighting solos. Whats the point of offering solo if it does not work? Come on devs make something happen if you want to grow it. As of right now its just not fun. Tried 3 times solo tonight and fought teams all 3 times.

"3.....2.........1.... Q" and try to get on the same team. It's completely exploitable. However there are times where you could be paired up on the opposing teams against your friend or whoever you wanted to be with.

the system can be gamed eitherway if people dont want to fight, want to throw or sabotage the match they will
if guildies dont want to attacks each other cause of some potential stupid alliance drama they wont
BiS players doing that must have really low self esteem to enjoy pug stomping instead of trying to 5v5 in priv queue.

1) Q forces rainbow on each side (doesn't have to match comp just no 2 of a class this coding can just basically be copy pasted from existing PVE requirements for dungeons) while at the same time dividing players from the same guild equally between the two teams (I know it's a bit of extra coding).
2) Removing the /10 which tells players how many players have accepted is removed and players are not put into the match based on the order of acceptance but a second randomized roll when all players have accepted determines their assigned team(again I know some extra coding).
The "exploit" it appears these players are using is easily thwarted with a few lines of code. An extra layer of randomization or an extra layer of ordering, either way you can solve the problem.

It is hilarous to see how they not only abuse single q but also destroy the very essence of how the pvp matches are made to work...
and guild leaders not wanting to deal with "drama" that pvp killing other players causes.. cause they have week minded /spined players..
If I have a guildie or close friend on othter team fighting 2-2 or the like I myself often pick the other first and give my guildie/friend a chanse to run but if he stays on node and we have to take it to win he dies no hard feelings for that same goes the other way ofc.
But yea I know some are Merciless and even threaten to kick guildies that attack the Merciless from guild.....
Rewards could be limited, conditional (require a minimum amount of players or minimum score both teams have to hit for example), or scaling (best rewards for full teams, lesser rewards for lower amounts of players). No rewards if you join after current map started.
I wrote the above text a month ago or so, and it saved. Don't know why I didn't post it, and really don't care at this point. This game started in 4e and has transitioned into 5e. So, you are trying to accommodate two different rule sets? Really? You think it will work, and balance itself? WoTC should be ashamed of where everything is at right now.
Yeah i heard about that merciless guy and we also talked in pm channel but i forgot his name.
Anyway if i see someone from my friends list or a guild i always go for them first, i figure its a great honour for them that i attack them first and acknowledge them as a player in that way.
I even gank them sometimes which also tells them i do not underestimate them.
Now if they dont see it that way ,well i can tell them how it is or let it slide if they are good friends, if not
well i can be bit meaner.
So yeah i dont see the problem in killing, losing, winning, as long as its somewhat balanced.

I think that they need to have it so you can report games were you expect cheating, have the penalize the players, like not letting any character on their account play in PVP for 30 days 1st offense, 90 days second offense, and then banned from PVP for life.

Yeah, PvP population isn't high enough, why? I am really happy for the old players with IL14k+, with transcended enchantments, with lvl10+ enchantments in every slot, but imagine somebody, who install the game the first time now, and reach lvl70 from scratches. How much time to get proper equipment for pvp? Months? More like years! Last time I TRIED to hit somebody at a node, for 3 MINUTES of constant hitting, he didn't do anything. Just sitting there and enjoyed the scraping of his back. Then got bored, and killed me with one hit, it wasn't even critical!
You CANNOT play pvp for years, or until you didn't spend hundreds of euros for zen.
In pvp they should rank the gamers like they do below lvl70, because as it is now, the newbies always need to "fight" against 14k+ deathstars, and they start to hate pvp from the beginning.
