Why is there a dead dwarf in the enclave?

Hello,

#16 at the teleporter to the mask is a dead NPC-Dwarf right behind the alpha-wall.
Why? An Event? Just a secret?

    Looks like a player, a guardian fighter. Not sure though. The portal might be blocking you from seeing a mouse-over of whether it is a downed player or not.

    You see it a lot in the River District with companions too.

    If it is a dead character, how do you die in PE?
    PVP zone, I can understand.
    RD, I can understand. One can be afk and the toon was killed by wandering mobs.

    Probably couldn't find a rock to crawl back under. ;)

    You can fall off the floating islands at the Mask and at least at one point plop down at the entrance, dead. I haven't tested this since they added the cutscene however.

    Besides that and being dead in some instance/PVP, you can also die from /killme and from overdosing on unstable pots.

    The dwarf had a bit too much to drink at the Moonstone Mask and then in his drunken state entered the portal in the incorrect way, as they say in Neverwinter: "don't drink and portal".

    You can die in PE if you drink too much unstable potions. I died several times with several toons. or he might tried to jump off the moonstone floating island and landed there.I couldnt do it with my GF though.Too slow.GWF maybe?

    It is possible this player jumped off of the earthmote that is Moonstone Mask, rather than take the portal.

    Last time, my toon jumped. He ended up somewhere in the abyss. I never try to do a long jump to have a "proper" landing though. :)

    To be honest, his Armor and stuff doesn't look like he is a player. And he was right behind the Alpha-Wall of the Portal, so I cant reach him.

    He was like a placed prop. Didn't move or something else.
    Just a dead dwarf in the enclave. Mystery's approached :trollface:

    Looks like a low-level Guardian Fighter to me, right down to the "Questing Dyepack" Pepto-pink colour applied to the boots.

    Players who have died and not released don't move, don't show a name on inspection, nothing. They look almost exactly like props.

    Also you can kill yourself anywhere with the right command.

    You don't jump directly off of the main island. If you look beyond the return portal, there are some smaller islands that it is possible to reach. When you get to the furthest one, you will be far enough to be over PE. Again, it was long ago when I did this.

    I came out of PvP ticking like crazy in PE yesterday!! I didn't die but was DAMN close!

    He was probably in PVP and had Thorned Roots applied to him right before the PVP ended. Has happened to an alt of mine.
