So, where are the Major Heroic Encounters?

I was feeling a bit bored - finished with Mod 11 and waiting for Mod 11-B, so I took a look at the achievements I am missing.

There is one that puzzles me a bit - I have the "Epic Hero" and "Minor Hero" ones, but not "Major Hero". Now, I thought the mid-size SH HEs qualified, but it appears that is not the case. So, where do I find HEs that qualify for this? Is it only in IWD?
Hoping for improvements...

    I have a "Major Hero I" for doing 10 "Major HE". Not sure where I did that.

    Edit: After further checking, I have 2 more "senior" characters reached 40 Major HE. Other characters have 9, 16 and 2.

    I have just done one "Major" in SH based on the above link. It did not increase the Major HE number in the Achievement log.

    My main has maxed for minor and epic, but has only 4 Major to show for it. I believe they only exist in IceWind Dale and nobody does them anymore. My guess, anyway.

    The classification system seems to not be applied correctly or consistently. I'm pretty sure it used to correlate to the map icon used for the HE, so they were intuitive in IWD (but the Major HEs in IWD don't get run much due to poor rewards for time taken and chance of failure).

    Now classification is a crapshoot. I got an achievement related to EPIC HEs the other night after completing Devil Attack in the SH. That's obviously mis-flagged.

    Oh an answer! I wonder if you can find out why the Icespire Mountaineer achievement has been unachievable since release?
    Definitely not an Arc User.

    Maybe if you clean the sarcasm out of the crevices of your question, someone will look into it. :smile:
