Release Notes

Content and Environment
River District
  • Behind the Mask
    • Gyrion no longer appears inside his book case.
  • Going Undercover
    • Lady Jyllian's now warns players more obviously that they are not required to change their appearance.
    • The first option players can select when speaking with Lady Jyllian now says, "Thank you, Lady Jyllian. (Complete quest step and continue without changing appearance)".
    • Players who still want to change how they look can select the second option or speak with her again afterwards.
  • Return to the Plague Tower
    • This instance can now properly be completed.
  • River District Unveiling
    • Fixed an issue where Xuna had an errant italics tag in one of her texts.
  • River District zone
    • Developer and test props are no longer hanging out outside the walls.
  • Various
    • When questing in a party, other players in the party can no longer sometimes close your dialogs.
Skirmish: Illusionist's Gambit
  • Defeated players who release during the voting phase no longer become stuck in the start room.
  • Players below level 70 can now receive rewards from the non-Master version of this skirmish.
  • Portobello's Table no longer occasionally has NPCs standing in the middle of the arena.
  • Various improvements have been made to the environment.
  • KNOWN ISSUE: The sky and lighting in this week's build mismatches the environments.
Spellplague Caverns
  • "Abandon Instance" no longer returns players to the Chasm by default.
  • Enemies are less likely to unexpectedly leap around in this instance due to odd pathfinding.
  • The monsters have gained a small sense of self-preservation; they are no longer likely to wander into deadly plaguefire when following players at the edge of an area.
  • The bonus reward chest can now properly be looted by several players at a time.
  • Note: Spellplague Caverns (Master) is not yet available in this build.
Achievements
  • The majority of achievements associated with Module 11's instances will now show up in the achievement journal after completing the instance, "The Missing Link", with the "Show Available" filter.
General
  • Rothé Valley: Edge of the Underdark: Sarkon'Iss is no longer invisible after the introductory cutscene.
Future Events
  • 2x Enchants & Runes: The event text no longer refers to places where Enchants & Runestones don't drop.
  • 2x Profession Resources & XP: All ranks of Salvager enchantments now properly double during this event.
  • 2x Profession Resources & XP: The event text now mentions Masterwork Profession resources.

Combat and Powers
Devoted Cleric
  • Bear Your Sins: This Feat in the Righteous paragon tree now functions correctly.
    • For enemies affected by the Devoted Cleric's Damage over Time (DoT) powers, it now properly increases their damage taken from all sources.
Guardian Fighter
  • Guarded Assault no longer triggers from other reflect powers.
Oathbound Paladin
  • Aura of Vengeance no longer triggers from other reflect powers.

Enemies and Allies
General
  • Aboleth Servitors are now able to use their melee attacks.
  • Aboleth Servitors now use heavier slam attacks while buffed by the Aboleth.
  • Kabal's fight in his instance has seen some balance updates.
  • Pseudodragons no longer show up named "Elite Critter" in dungeons.

Items and Economy
River District Campaign
  • Bonus Secrets of the Many Starred can now be gained once every four days, extended from once every day.
    • Secrets of the Many Starred from daily and weekly quests are unaffected.
  • Security and Resistance now diminish more rapidly.
General
  • Ostorian Relics now grant about 50% more voninblod.
Artifacts
  • Tome of Ascendance
    • Text for the power name, lore, and more has been changed.
    • A tooltip has been added to this artifact's debuff effect.
Dungeon Key Rewards
  • Deepknight's Brigandine: This item now has an Armor Class value.
  • Dragon Loyalist's Visage: The buffs granted by this item now have tooltips.
  • Dragon Loyalist's Visage: This item now properly provides damage resistance.
  • Historian's Regalia: This item now has an Armor Class value.
  • Lifesilk Spinneret: This item's power is now properly activated by control powers.
  • Lifesilk Spinneret: This item now has an Armor Class value.
  • Psion's Shroud: This item now has an Armor Class value.
  • Shard of Permafrost: This item has been renamed to Endurant Permafrost, in order to better differentiate it from the Permafrost Shard item.
  • Zulkir's Dreadnought: This item now has an Armor Class value.
Mounts and Insignias
  • Magistrate's Consideration: This insignia combo power no longer bypasses damage immunity.

User Interface
Collections
  • The Artifact Equipment pages have now been condensed. This will affect players' Collection Points.
Home Page
  • The new Portal Stone ad no longer displays until the player has completed the quests required to make use of it.
    • Note that this purchase is unavailable on NeverwinterPreview.
Inventory
  • Quest items, such as Dark Fey Keys, now consistently display their Bind status.
Mounts
  • Mount tooltips now properly display in the Mount picker window, regardless of which slot they're in.
Queues
  • On the first visit to the Instance Management pane, class icons now consistently display.

Art, Effects, Animation, and Audio
Animations
  • Timing on various Control Wizard powers has updated so the enemy reacts much more closely to when they're hit. Examples:
    • Enemies no longer take extra time to die when defeated by Chill Strike.
    • Magic Missile no longer causes the enemy to die before the missiles strike.
Audio
  • Energon: This companion now properly has summon audio.
  • Gas Spore: This mount now consistently plays its Flourish audio.
    • A Flourish is the animation played when pressing the Jump key while standing still.
  • Pseudodragon: This companion now consistently plays its Bite audio.

    I haven't talked to the relevant designer about this one yet, but my gut says it's accidental. People are mostly out for the weekend, so I'll shoot over an email and make sure this gets addressed (or is as designed).

    @terramak what about the fix for plantgrowth? Something is seriously wrong with the HR since 10.5 w/ plantgrowth being one of the main problems. It has a 2 sec delay when activating the encounter and I don't think the initial hit is even registering. Please fix this encounter ASAP.

    Perplexingly unnecessary nerf to the Apocalypse Dagger.

    With unreliable damage, and no secondary effect, it's serviceable to an alt because of the cool special effects.

    Might as well rename this to Singe Dagger.

    Now, I have to replace it with the (whispers i'dratherhavethepricestayasitisorlowerandnothigher) artifact.

    Please clarify which Powers you consider "reflect" .

    This had better NOT include Knights Valor.
    Knight's Valor should be considered party mitigation, not reflection.
    Because if it does, you just killed the only viable GF-Protector option.
    Turtles have never been OverPowered. No need to gimp further.

    @trentbail21 they are reworking enchants so I would advise not to ask of them to look at a GWF. They don't have the time or the resources to make it look anything close to a rework. Partial fixes are better not do at this moment.

    @terramak since it would take probably very little resources can you make SKT currency count as Frozen treasures in the SH coffer. Ty.

    Plant Growth now correctly ticks 4 times; previously, it dealt its damage over fewer damage ticks than it should have.
    Plant Growth now roots players for half its duration, rather than full.
    Split the Sky now properly activates effects that are triggered by Encounter powers.

    @floppies it's still not fixed. It has a 2 second delay on activation and something else feels off about the power. Cordon of arrows is acting funny as well. Please revert this power ASAP, pve rangers have lost about 30% of their damage.

    I dont think you understand right what hapened, no stats were replaced, simple Class armour added.....if you consider 4k hp = 1k other stat the stats are there. It's something diferent, something else appart from the "only dps matter armours" If you dont want a armour with just HP dont get it, nobody makes you.

    Why nerfing the gf and the op yet again? It is true that they need some fixes but they were applied already, why nerfing them even more? It is horrible enough to solo as a tac gf and you guys keep nerfing the living carp out if. What's the pont of that nerf? Is it because of pvp and to follow the changes done to augmented thayan bastion?

    I dont think you understand right what hapened, no stats were replaced, simple Class armour added.....if you consider 4k hp = 1k other stat the stats are there.     To be succinct about it, they were bugged and missing the Armor Class values they should have had all along. This was... a bit of a problem.

    The new stats ​​are lower than the old ones? Why? I don´t need AC ... the new Armor loses 8k hp.... Loyalist Visage los 200 Power ... 200 ArP .... WHY? The new Gear was good for me ... and now ... its useless .... its so useless... please give us back the old Stats ... the old stats with AC its good but not the new Stats.... Zulkir loses 300 Power... that´s not fair .... many new Gear loses 10 Gearscore points from 150 to 140 .... WHY?

    @terramak - Still no word on Combatant's Maneuver still not working? It's been months since SoMI dropped and the insignia bonus is not procing off anything. Can you at least let us know if it's on the radar?

    Why nerfing the gf and the op yet again? It is true that they need some fixes but they were applied already, why nerfing them even more?     It's not a "nerf" - it's an insignificant change under normal circumstances. It just removes an infinite loop trigger.

    To clarify, this change has nothing to do with the bugfix that some of these items were missing armor class (AC). These items are on live, and in fact the item level adjustment happened before the items went live. When did you have these items at their higher item level?

    For reference, when these items were made internally, during the design process we had not settled on an item level for all of them, so we chose a certain item level to start, and then during their development we made adjustments to the item levels based on the location they were awarded from.
