@miasmat I have a legitimate question. I've opened over 1100 parcels so I should be getting most of those back through compensation, but Since ps4 users won't be compensated until after the event ends, will we be forced to save the Stars from the parcels until next year? Since we won't be able to exchange them for items? Or will we just have to delete them? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Event doesn't end until the 5th(iirc) so I'm pretty sure they'll get PS4 their parcels by then.
So no one is there working on the PS4 side of things because of a vacation but a problem arises on Xbox or PC again and you guys are right back in there pushing PS4 players to the back of the line again....I loved playing this game just picked the wrong platform to play it on I guess
I concur. I'm curious as to why they did the parcel fix in the order they did...Xbox, PC, and PS4 eventually? This game has been out for PC & Xbox for awhile now, they've been through these events before. You have a new market area with PS4 this event for the first time and yet their fix won't be done until possibly Jan. 2nd or whenever? It doesn't make sense especially from a selling/marketing standpoint but it is what is is.
Definitely a thanks to all the PC & Xbox players that actively post in the forums, been a great help in learning about the game especially all the pro's/cons, bugs & issues. Just too many issues and bugs that go unfixed with this game, add in a horrible RNG & Chance system has really made me realize Dungeons & Chances isn't for me.
A couple comments on what y'all have posted recently.
First, right now, and for the next few days, I'm in a remote town without reliable, fast internet access and without access to my work computer where I have all the records of who still needs replacements. I only have my phone, so I can read and post on the forums, but I can't fix the tens of thousands of PS4 and Drider players. This will remain the situation until Jan 2nd, when all of Cryptic is back at the office. Fixing PS4 manually (like I did for Xbox and PC) will take something like 15 hours, which isn't something I can do from here.
Second, I was able to re-fix PC and Xbox by phone, by talking the ops guy who did the server restart through re-applying the fix we did a few days ago. During the restart, he accidentally removed the fix from PC and Xbox for about 2 hours - PS4 wasn't re-broken. This took about 30 minutes on the phone.
Third, the order of shards that we applied the manual fix was mostly arbitrary - somebody had to be first. Xbox did it's maintenance at midnight, same as PS4, so I started it first. As it became clear that I wouldn't be able to finish all shards by the end of the work day, I pulled in some help from the 3 people I could retask on the last day Cryptic was open before the break. One started on the "M"s of Xbox, hoping we could finish that shard before we had to leave to catch our various flights and evening commitments. Two other people started on Dragon because the list for it was shorter than PS4, so we thought we could finish it in time to leave for our vacation. We hoped to finish those two lists and get all 4 of us working on PS4 before the end of the day, but the going was still slower than expected and we didn't even finish those shards before 3 of the people actually had to leave. As the lead, I kept working on Xbox and Dragon until they were done on Saturday morning. I had to leave Saturday afternoon to travel, and knew I wouldn't finish PS4 in time. I didn't want to leave them with only some players replaced since I'd gotten comments about "unfair advantage" that players get on the auction house, so I didn't start PS4, except for about 200 Cyrillic-named characters who were part of the automation test run.
Fourth, remember that while the parcels were broken, the only thing you missed out on was unidentified blue items. Some people have even requested that we leave those out of the loot pool entirely! We'll talk on Jan 2nd about how we'll handle people who opened parcels on Dragon and Xbox during the two hours the parcels were re-broken on Thursday morning after the maintenance. What do you feel we should do? Do you want the unidentified blues? Do nothing? More replacement parcels? I'm making no promises, but I'm curious how you want us to handle this small number of people.
Thank you all for your patience while we're short-staffed while on vacation.
Well, i'm going to vote for replacement parcels, even when it takes some time to deliver them to all "effected" players, it was and is a solid solution here. Thank you for the reply, and have a happy new year.
The real issue for myself and countless other PS4 users is that Double Enchantments will be over and since these things drop 80% enchantments we will be missing out on Millions in refinments points so i hope they plan on extending that or doubling our parcels, cause i already spent money out of pocket on these things to begin with and shouldnt have to spend more money out of pocket for refinement, so unless thats extended were not being reimbursed were being punished.

I have personally mailed a few people some of that "Rare Equipment" they missed during those 2 hours. While it would be hard for me to do that for everyone, I do think that you should either send the unidentified blues or don't even worry about those 2 hours. That's just my opinion though, and probably an unpopular one.
I do think something special should be done for the PS4 players though, as they are delayed for so long, and, as pointed out, their double enchantment event will be over before they get their replacement parcels. I don't play on PS4 myself, but i still think they need a little more, just for their wait, if nothing else.

Pretty much this, it can't be as many parcels to replace this time, and nobody can say they've been treated wrongly...
Isn't PS4 parcels fixed as well?
If so, you aren't missing out on any enchants you would have gotten originally, since only blue gear was missing earlier.
You are missing the chance at double enchants from the extra parcels, but those parcels are just an unexpected bonus, right?

Sure their a bonus.. that everyone but us will receive, so its a 2x bonus for other platforms, but hopefully the devs will take this into consideration, i was simply sharing the concerns of the PS4 players forums, ppl who have put alot of money into this game and deserve the same thing that others will be receiving, otherwise All platforms should have waited til Jan 2nd, thats the general consensus.

;P If that was true all platforms would have access to all items eachother has had at some point, and well thats not true at all.

but xbox and pc got those double enchantments as a bonus for the inconvenience. ps4 won't get that even though we had to wait over a week longer. doesn't seem fair. and trading gifts takes time. even if they get it all out on the 2nd as they say that's only a couple days to do a lot of exchanging for some people and it was likely that those people had time off over the holiday and will be back at work after the second.
I'd like to see the event extended thru the weekend for ps4 and have the double enchants back for at least a few days of it. ( I wouldn't say no to an unexpected 2x ad too)
@miasmat I know this is unrelated to the thread and I do apologize ahead of time if it's in anyway offensive but I tried the ticket thing to no response and ive been following this thread and noticed your timely responses even with the holidays but my holiday spirit has vanished cause I just lost my bonding and twisted weapon box because apparently every time I press x it counts 4 eight presses I have new controller n this happens I understand if you don't respond here but I appreciate if you look into I have videos of this to pleased help no where else to turn my tag Yellow Archer@dakidd74
If the only bug in these parcels is that they didn't contain unidentified blues, I'm curious as to whether or not the "fix" actually made it so the only non-holiday thing contained in these parcels IS unidentified blues. I have 10 alts and have opened about 170 parcels. Early on (parcels 1-10 on each account), I was getting wards, enchantments,an occasional purple something or random companion or mount. For the last five days or so, I have basically gotten 100% either enchantments (rarely these) and/or an unidentified blue. I know that's only about 50 parcels, but considering that I am now above the 15 parcel threshold on all toons, I was kind of assuming that the drops would be getting better.
Considering that it would have cost me 5000 zen to buy those 50 parcels, I would have spent around $50 of Zen to basically get 35 unidentified blues, 10 rank 6 enchantments, and a bunch of gifts for other people. I'm annoyed at the $20 I spent to even buy one block of these things for my main, but there is no way I would ever spend another dime on a pack of these parcels if this is actually what is SUPPOSED to be dropping from them. If you bought an equivalent value in keys, you would get back around 500-700k AD worth of packages, containing all sorts of fun and advanced items, with a chance at a mythic mount. Here, it appears you are spending ~600k AD or $20 to get basically about 30000 AD or $1 worth of items.
Yes, these were all free parcels, with the exception of the ones that I bought for my main. So I'm not complaining about the free items not being gamechanging. I am complaining that the loot table for these is garbage compared to the items you get using keys, since the cost of a key is about the same as the cost of a parcel. A "bad" key will get you an Ostorian Relic Pack and maybe 5 trade bars, which has an approximate value of around 9k AD. A "good" parcel appears to get you about the same. I guess there are some "amazing" parcels out there, but in 170 parcels ($170 worth of parcels when translated to Zen cost had I bought them) the best thing I have gotten was worth about 80k AD. Had I actually bought $170 worth of parcels and gotten this result, I can assure you I would be quitting the game.
I guess what I am suggesting is either: a) dropping the cost of parcels; b) bumping the loot table for people who actually buy them; or c) providing some idea (via the website) about what you can expect to get, with what frequency, so that people don't waste money on these assuming that they are comparable to other Zen store products which carry a similar cost (i.e., a parcel is ~= a key). Putting a limited time item for sale at a reasonably high price, when there is no data to explain what the item actually is, seems like a cheap way to try to grab some cash by playing on the hopes of people that it might contain something awesome. I know there is an NPC who gives some very limited information, but lets be honest (unless the parcels are still broken), that information from the NPC is VERY disingenuous.
I have probably gotten 100 preservation wards, which are very nice and I thank you for those and the few other interesting items I obtained. I also appreciate the free parcels, because, like I said, I only bought 20 for Zen. All that said, if you are introducing new high-zen cost, limited time items in the future, please provide some additional information via the website about why we should be buying them. This is like Best Buy putting a bunch of boxes in their windows and telling you that for one week only, you can buy these boxes which might contain a high demand electronics item. And then you buy a bunch of the boxes and open them up to find a handful of computer screws, an old mouse and six CDs inside.
I don't know if you had to downwardly adjust the loot table because you were giving so many away (and now doubling that amount due to the bug), but the price in Zen does not appear to justify the returns.
(Note: I am not a free-loading complainer, I have spent around $300 on this game so far, but I also expect to get value for that money)
The rare items is a bit out of hand i would have to agree, especially when it clearly states EPIC items after so many gifts have been opened thats why its Written in Purple letters. but whats worse is the fact that im now getting BOUND items out of Parcels I paid money out of pocket for. Ive now had to discard about 1.7 million ad in items i cant sell and dont need duplicates of so im still paying $1 per parcel for Sky beams and fireworks

Ok, 1) You are never guaranteed epic items. They are added to the loot table IN ADDITION TO the rest of the items. The drop rates are still very low. 2) There are only a few items in the Parcels (Staldorf and the refining tokens are the only 2 I can currently think of offhand) that are bound. Anything you get out of the Starlight BAGS will be bound to character by default.

Still might be another hour or so before people get in the office (based on when Andy and Julia get on Super-secret-moderator-chat). I'm sure they will have to have a meeting or 2 this morning, after coming back from vacation. I'd say, if you don't hear anything in the next 4 - 5 hours, I'll poke someone.

Isn't that rare Charger mount from the parcels bop as well?
Anyway, i bought 3 parcel packages, and the noteworthy drops were 1 Forgehammer of Gond, 1 Emebllished Apparatus of Gond, 2 Twisted Dwarf Scroll Cases, 1 Chicken Egg, 1 Apparatus of Gond, and several rare/uncommon companions/mounts...
12 Characters, all level 70, and i opened around 25-75 parcels/bags on them. It looks like the drop rate of good items is low enough, and you have to count in the replacement parcels here too. Not sure, why some players are suggesting to lower these drop rates even more...
Therefore i would like to suggest a small change here, if the drop is either an low ranking enchantment or an unidentified blue item, please consider adding at least a Starlight bag or Star to that loot.
I like Regenerde's idea about the stars that would work have opened a couple of hundred boxes and gotten mostly dross but my luck on chests is horrible
