[PS4] Black Friday Zen Sale!

In addition to other events, Zen and Packs are going to be on sale in the PlayStation®Store for various amounts.

Note: Xbox and PC will definitely have sales as well this year. Sony and Microsoft work differently, so we need to abide by their rules.

    I suspect Playstation is getting the shaft. At least if you XBox guys still get the 50% sale I heard you got in the past.

    oh my... so even if pc and xbox should get a black friday sale, its A) not even a 50% off sale and B ) only a few items are discounted, vip and keys are not affected...

    I had planned to buy a whole year of vip, 100 keys, as well as banks slots and pres wards but as it seems you guys have other plans. I won't buy anything else off the zen store and only for 50% off. Cutting the prices of undesirable junk for a low percentage wont get you any "sales". Last year there was a 50% off sale for everything and now this... worst sale ever. I highly doubt that you will get a lot of $$$ out of this.

    would be a huge mistake to not make a 50% sale
    basicly noone woll purchase ZEN if they dont do it

    Sony is already running their sale, which includes how one obtains Zen for real money on PS4. But I've looked at their store, and there must be an in-game shop on NW PS4 too, because there is next to diddly squat for merchandise through Sony's site.

    Logic says this is not the only sale PS4 is getting either.

    Yeah, we have an in game shop too.

    Could be wrong here....but I think the sale on my PS4 side of the store (not the in game shop) says you have to be a current PlayStation plus member to take advantage of....& it runs Wednesday (through Friday) to Monday. Not so sure we will get another sale, but hope so!

    Hope they throw non plus members a bone, too & at the very least offer us something on that side of it. That's totally Sonys call though, I think.

    It's (Sony side of the store) the only place we can purchase the DragonBorn pack (not on our Game side Zen store yet where we can convert diamonds to zen so it has to be a cash purchase)

    If I could get the same discount or even close to it.....I'm pretty sure I'd buy

    Perhaps you might want to look at the title of the thread again? Its clearly says black Friday blowout sale. As thrill said, its unlikely that pc and xbox will get different sales than ps4.

    Perhaps you might want to look at the title of the thread again? Its clearly says black Friday blowout sale. As thrill said, its unlikely that pc and xbox will get different sales than ps4.
    No, it's not, but we can save the "told you so" for Friday.

    (The thread title indicates that this is PS4's Black Friday sale on Zen, not their Zen store sale. Arc will probably run a charge bonus for PC players. XBox will probably also have whatever kind of sale Microsoft runs for them to get a deal on Zen. But not starting today.)

    Btw, strum was doing a Q&A last night on somebody's stream and when asked about the Black Friday sales he said "there will be multiple sales" then said PS4 will be getting them early. Which ps4 has, and also means there will be more than this sale, probably and hopefully the 50% zen store.

    I don't understand why you say that with plus you get 25% discount and when I go there to buy it say only 20%. Can you explain that?? @strumslinger

    Okay, the sale is FINALLY up.

    What is with the different discounts? Why does the US-store get up to 25% off, while we (here in the UK) get only 17% off? How is that fair? Seems pretty poor to me to make different discounts for different countries...

    Rather than zen sales i would like to know the last time the zen market had anything under the "free" tab. I pay for vip and get my 1 useless rng lockbox key so i can get the same reward every day, but that is effectively a subscription for me and i get nothing in return? I would take a pack of 5 peridots at this point, anything just to feel like we get something back.

    £8 per vip and the only valued reward is a single key...worth 1 hundred zen. I value it even less since its tied to a broken rng system. To cut a long story short i would appreciate a small freebie once in a while

    If the only benefit of vip was the free key, it would still be a decent value.

    the fact you get mailbox, bank, teleport, vendor, salvage access anywhere, an ad and invoke bonus.....these benefits are valuable as well that cant be ignored.

    Overall, they give a decent amount of freebies, just not in that specific tab.

    They had free things in the recent months. You chose to pay for VIP... it's not a requirement. You got what you payed for when you got VIP and not just the key either (unless they did to you what they did to me and force my 2 paranoid delusions to be account bound without notice).

    And as far as the key being a "useless rng lockbox key", why do you keep using it if it's useless? And if it's RNG it cannot be the same item every day.

    It's not a subscription for you, not even effectively. You are being given extra things that non-VIP users don't receive. Again, it's not a requirement and you do get things in return.

    In which way is the "RNG system" broken?

    Also you aren't entitled to a free gift just because you want it.. this isn't socialism; you don't have the right to receive things simply for existing

    noone on xbox understands the black friday sale zen is 25% off right now @ 10:00pm thursday but what we want to know is this 25% off zen for just thursday or for the week do we get 50% off zen store items on friday? like how hard is it to let the people know whats going on this is why we have a forums page so players can be informed ...like do i buy my 25% zen right now and spend it or do i sit and wait in stress if the 50% off comes idk......to people saying oh its not black friday but here in america started at 6pm thursday 24th for most stores and sales

    I think it sucks that the pre-paid cards don't get the charge bonus.
