This game is getting way , way too old to avoid this feature any longer. LETS get it ASAP!

    Would be a nice QoL addition now that they don't have to spend resources on the gateway.

    All I can say is, I wouldve chosen ninja kittens over hamsters.
    Any way that Cryptic implements this is going to have unintended consequences that players likely won't like. They'll do something like having an account wide refinement cap that's liwer than what we can get now.

    Or not, it might make a reason you would buy extra characters as there are very very few reasons to do so now.

    Ive played many many mmos since EQ 1 came out, this game takes the cake on this non shared pooling tab.

    I had one game that literally did it for you, all shared resources would just pool automatically. Darn tooting was that a cool feature.

    Considering how much time we are WASTING now in game to do professions, they need to give us some features back.

    Using the ZAX as a workaround is just silly, and accepting this as the approved method is even sillier.

    Have all AD go to a single bank, and all toons have access to it. Same thing with profession resources , assets and people.

    Come on guys, dedicate 1 guy that was fighting the gateway bots (that took up so much time and resources), to some QOL improvements.

    This would be $$. Increase the size of the profession resources/people/assets stash with the number of characters.
    ONE STASH TO RULE THEM ALL. Adding this to my carpal tunnel post.

    I agree that using the exchange to move AD around on your own account is clumsy, and many players have managed to buy or sell Zen unintentionally while trying to do so. Preventable error, but still a symptom of things being harder than they need to be.

    But, a couple of notes or caveats with this.

    Tradebars in the shared bank have a fairly low cap, and no warning whatsoever if you're going to exceed it. If you make a deposit and exceed the cap, your currency is destroyed. No warning. The action does not fail for being invalid. You just lose your stuff. Source is @hustin1

    Gold probably does the same, but we typically don't have any reason to pool large quantities of gold so nobody has run into it. At most, you might use the shared bank to transfer a few hundred gold to a brand new character.

    So I want it as a game feature, but with safeguards that were not implemented when they added tradebar sharing.

    Also, please allow account pooling/transfer of companion tokens, thanks. You can try to micromanage obtaining them towards a planned upgrade, but you can run over the needed number hitting the jackpot, or you could decide you need to redirect those resources partway through collection, because Cryptic changed something. I know this is kind of on the devs' radar already, but just to reiterate.

    Yes but it's only a "it would be nice if" feature. There are far more important tasks the UI team should take care of right now. Like, the next campaign. Upcoming events. And if possible, dual spec, making the character sheet clearer, making enchantments management less of a headeache, and so on. This is imo a low or very low priority change. That would be nice but it's currently not very critical, as the exchange does the job quite OK already, and as few players use that many characters in the first place.

    Hate to say it but this pretty much sums what I think would happen also. Just look at past history of changes.

    Good plan!
    Tax the AD that goes into the shared bank with 5% (same as they tax the ZAX when below 500). And remove the possibility to misuse the ZAX to transfer AD from toon A to toon B circumventing this tax.

    This game is not alt-friendly anymore.

    Account shared Companion/Mount storage - This would be a really great QoL addition.

    Not entirely true, just a few weeks ago they increased shared bank space to from 48 to 88 (me thinks).
    But I wonder if they did that to increase their income or to be more alt-friendly. We'll never know.

    Increasing the max size of the shared bank is a "please take my money" QoL change, the kind of thing they'd been told players are willing to buy since they added the shared bank in the first place.

    But yeah, not exactly done out of sheer benevolence.

    I'd rather see it as an account wide currency rather than a bank for it. Would be nice if it was listed the same as ZEN.

    I would like this idea to be added but then we go to the 'Greed Table' they will not add it anytime soon as they just seem to be taking things away and not replacing them anytime soon or so I am hearing for the past times. A AD bank would be great to be added as well as a few other ideas that they seem to be ignoring when people suggest them

    yes account wide would be nice but than we would probably get character bound AD, Acccount wide AD character bound zen account wide zen etc etc.
