...which must have been due to the new patch. Care to explain, Cryptic? Edit: I gained 5k HP in my pve gear and lost 5k in my pvp gear for no apparent reason. Edit again: and today I have another 5k HP in pve for no reason. Haven't even tried on my pvp gear yet...

Dusk gear set bonus? Different HP stats? There could be several reasons...

VIP Party bonus is a big one.

Dusk gear set bonus gives an even 5k HP.

I definitely didn't lose any HP on any of my 6 characters, so I doubt this is a system-wide bug.

Hey were you using any triple stat enchants? If so, unslot and reslot everything and it should work again.

Ed: Your edit might indicate that you mysteriously fixed it already.

No triple enchants. And the HP did mysteriously reappear, through no fault of my own.

Are you in the same Zone as when you checked both times? Like maybe you were in a place that scaled you down a little, like Sharandar? And then back up to 70?

I was in the same zone (Cold Run) every time I checked.

I wonder if there are any ally buffs from characters or companions that give more HP from being in proximity.

Hard to keep track of them all.

How many times do I have to say no? None of those causes you to lose hit points.

Seriously?! HOW CAN WE KNOW how you lost your HP?! We're trying to help answer your 'question'. If you aren't looking for possible answers don't make posts, since all we can do is guess.

Closing this up as there is no where near enough information to go on and every time someone suggests something, your answer is no and now you're getting offended it seems... even though the only logical reasoning is that it was some temporary hit points from one of the sources mentioned by posters. There's no way to get to the bottom of this with the information provided if you don't want people asking you questions, for you gave us nothing to go on. If you feel there is a bug at work, please file an in game bug report. I do suggest to be way more specific if you do.
