I`m hoping they see our plight though and increase our drop chances, for those in need ha ha. After 0 +5 rings for months on end I really would like this Mount

I am going to guess this is another 1 in X-thousand chance so I am not going to get depressed but it would be nice to land one.
I have to assume all the glitched runs where you cannot focus are my beholder drops so please send mine soon, email works. As far as the glitch, I though I saw a relationship between people leaving the instance before you get a chance to focus but I am not sure if that is the trigger or not. I am getting about 8-10% failure rate in my 100ish runs, and the supposed items found do not always display either.
I starting checking out STO also, it's a neat game, although I got stuck on the bridge before I could even go on the first flight...rage quit...lol

Been waiting for STO for ages... started yesterday and really liked it. Apart from raging out to muscle memory reflex use of hypo sprays at ridiculously inappropriate times... Damned NWO controller set up!
I'm going to take it slowly as with NWO, it looks like there's a LOT to take in and get used to. But on the Stranded In Space Mission it took me about 10 minutes to find my bloody space ship...
Yup, hoping or expecting won't get you anything but frustration (at least in neverwinter). It has its advantage to be a pessimist.
Hoping's fine, it's people expecting to win and then blaming everyone else for not getting what they wanted AND for everything that they've lost/wasted in the process that's a bit daft.
I've bought 2 lottery tickets every week since it started in the UK, that's about 20 years ago... so I've bought probably 2000 plus tickets over the years. The odds of winning are over 14'000'000 to 1 against. I never spend more than I'm willing to lose I don't expect to ever become a millionaire this way BUT I also know that the only way I could ever win is by actually taking part.
I treat RNG mega drops in video games the same way, consequently I'm never disappointed.
You could have run skirmishes like Kessell's or Turen instead and netted over 3 million AD.
Assuming an average time of about 7 minutes a run, over 5 days since it started it works out at 23 hours and 20 minutes a DAY spent inside "Portobellos Artificers Workshop"...
I assume the other 40 minutes a day were spent queuing...
I heard one of the rewards from the beholder is to be poisoned, I don't recall getting that reward or maybe it's not really noticeable on higher level toons, I would like to see it drop me on the floor, that would be funny as heck and more entertaining than red veins imo.

A curse would be cool.
Like when the Sharandar witches turn you into a chicken. Something that doesn't impact on abilities or skills etc, but just makes you look ridiculous. Puts your head on backwards or something... just as a cosmetic effect. Lasts an hour (through death!) I know that for some characters that would bean improvement, but... swings and roundabouts.
Agreed. And 3m is a lowball estimate assuming no artifacts pulled, no haarls, and that its not 2x AD, which it currently is. Farming a beholder is a fools errand. Buying them is where its at.

Hey me too, I actually really like the game and have my character to Level 20 over the last few days
Bit addicted to it truth be told and just doing the bare minimum on Neverwinter at the moment to help build the rest of the Stronghold Buildings. Not even sure if I am interested in a new dungeon (when it drops) that you have to have silly levels of resist just to enter... sounds a bit disappointing

If you are still at L20 there's LOADS of stuff before you need to worry about Mod 10. I'm a L70 TR, item level 2.7k, and I'm still not done with the existing material. I have no PvP boons, and still need to finish Icewind Dale (and the two ball numbing final boons on Well of Dragons...)
If you're not obsessed with getting the best gear for the least effort, NWO is a great game that will keep you busy fora long time.

YOU had unrealistic expectations. That's all.
If anyone scammed you, you did it to yourself.
