Beholder Tank Legendary Mount Drop
Has this fella dropped for anyone yet if so Is it RNG based,
or is there any advice to earning it from the Artificer skirmish?

On reddit there are reports of people getting it. Supposedly there is one on AH for 99mil or some HAMSTER lol
Edit to add: Also something about going up to the beholder after the dungeon I guess that's where it drops not the chest.

feel free to post how many times you've done event in hopes of a personal beholder tank drop. (couldn't get this mount on the PC or on the Xbox one last year either which I hope that I get it this time ) I really need a better mount...I still only have the boar mount I got last year XD I dubbed him the "Baconing"

It never hit the Zen market on PC. I do not think it ever will. I'd be seriously surprised if it did.

When you consider how many times every hour the quest starts, then multiply by 5 for the people on it across the duration of the event... 85 is nowhere near playing the odds.
8500 May be closer to the mark.

Portobello was not available last year...just to clarify. Therefore the mount was not available.

I saw two announced today, didn't catch the exact details as it flashed past but I definitely saw "Beholder" and "Tank" on the screen announcements.

Maybe they've made an exception for this one since it does seem to be one that a lot of people want.

I gave up 104 tries... wow...just...wow... an entire fricking day wasted I could've gotten so many things done today what a waste of time not mention well life. Look Arc no offense but the RNG in this game is horrific If you want players to play try boosting the RNG drop rate to something above .0005% before everyone decides to leave. I've been finding Star Trek more amusing albeit the ship controls are bit too twitchy and the ADS on ground combat needs a bit more consistency when shooting and the over the shoulder sight needs to be a little bit lower to go in line with the character's shoulder and head. Also a 3rd unlockable weapon slot would be a large improvement, other than that I've actually had fun who knew? o.O post if anyone actually received the confounded Personal Beholder Tank not just saw it pop up with some Admin no one knows from adam.

If you are, then yes, every single time I've done it (6 runs x 10 days).

No offence, but this is exactly what I was talking about regarding gamblers remorse on another thread.
The odds on those drops are ridiculously high. Like lottery jackpot high. buying 104 tickets isn't likely to make you a millionaire, otherwise we'd all be millionaires. Likewise if 100 or so runs guaranteed a Tank, the game would become World Of Tanks, and I think someone has that covered.
They aren't MEANT to reward persistence. That is why you get the tiered rewards within the campaign. The fashion, companion, artifact, and figurine are the rewards for persistence.
The Tank is meant to be a Jackpot win that might drop for some L30 dude on their first run, or (more likely) never even appears if you play the dungeon non stop throughout the event's duration.
When you decided to spend your time doing it that was your choice. Not the game's.

It's not a problem with the RNG its a problem with players not understanding how those mega prizes work.

It also bugs out if no one is near it. If the simple act of just moving around is enough to glitch it then that would be a pretty major goof. So, is there official word on why it bugs out?

No offence but this is totally pathetic... It is an MMO and you have spent just 1 day farming something... What a joke dude, some of us have farmed things for months and months and still waiting for a drop.

Although I agree with you about Star Trek... I have got in to that the last few days and found it very enjoyable

Seriously, I'd love to know what it is that makes you think that a few dozen tries at something that is clearly in the region of tens of thousands to one against odds is going to work.

Or is this some sort of support group exercise in mutual catharsis?
