Tetris: The Movie. Yes, this is actually happening.

Okay, so this is probably old news to some, but they're actually making a movie based on......Tetris. Not only that, a trilogy.

Now, would someone please tell me what the person who greenlighted this concept for ANY studio was possibly thinking when they believed this movie could be a sleeper hit?

    That is what drives many business decisions, both good and bad ones. Bad ones were not really thoroughly reviewed before some put a stamp of approval on it.

    Yes, but still...a movie....based on blocks. And not just that, THREE of them. The guys who OK'd this must have really been on the good meds.
