New Character Class

Mod 9 seems somewhat low on content, the unobtainable Natural Order ring is being removed from the collections page due to "we aren't planning on adding it anytime soon", and character slots are now on sale. This can only mean one thing.

The Druid Class is getting released in Mod 9.

Just speculation obviously, but it would be cool. What does everyone else think? Is it even possible? Could it have stolen the effect from the ring in an attempt to balance out some classes with a "buff removal" skill?

    yea its coming, for-seen this about 2-3 weeks ago when something happened to one of my chars..(they basically became a druid in the sense of the lore)

    It is pretty obvious mod 9 does not have a new class. There is a preview server for people to check things out and mod 9 will arrive in 5 days. Dropping a new kind of character with no testing is unreal.

    But putting things in without testing is par for the course with this lot anymore.

    Uh-huh. And of course, all the official statements that there is no new class (or race) in M9 (or any time soon) were filthy, filthy lies.

    I need a rollyeyes smiley.

    Edit: They nuked the Ring of Natural Order from orbit because they couldn't manage to make it not stupidly broken. It was the right decision. It does not mean they are transferring its power to a class mechanic.

    Same chance as all my AD will turn up as real USD in my bank account or a lightning striking me now. Everything is possible, but lets say I wouldn't count on that.

    *selling all my gear into AD and climbing into Faraday cage.

    Might be at least 2 mods away. Mod 10 is most likely going to be about class balancing and bugs. It's more probably that we will see a lot of changes to the current classes than seeing a new class come out.

    BTW the only thing we know for sure that still pending in their list, is the return of the old dungeons and the NCL. I think that's something that we will see in mod 10 too.
