High level guild stronghold requires a lot of dedication and discipline. You can't NOT require donations and instead hope somebody will donate 100k while others donate 2k. Shared profits from stronghold (boons etc) mean equally shared cost. With cost as high as it is GH 15+ aren't achievable for casual guilds.
Previously level 2, now level 3. Working on level 4 but lots to collect yet in the form of Tyranny Trinkets, AD, Labor, and Dungeoneering shards (my personal pet peeve). Whoever had that idea earlier in the thread: sign me up for trading shards to other shards even at a 2:1 ratio.
Be crafty when thinking about how you will obtain so many materials. We holds Raffles and create a ton of revenue while holding "zero" required donations. People donate what they can when they can. We are a few days from SH R10. If your guild promotes unity the resources will follow for sure. Most raffles gain us a few million AD in the coffer whilst giving participants a chance for a great item for a minimal non mandatory entry ticket. Xbox BTW. We hold contest for who can donate the most campaign currency ect.... Just be crafty and you will progress just fine.

We hit GH L8 a couple weeks ago, and *could* upgrade to Market L4, but we're holding off until Mod 9, so there will be fewer resource requirements. There's only a handful of us with enough banners/dragonflight fangs to get any of the "better" gear, and a Guild vote has been overwhelmingly unanimous to wait.
I think we are doing spectacularly well for a small guild.

We reached r10 for our Guild Hall couple weeks ago... and potentially may reach 11 by the end of the month. In the last few weeks we have had a couple of DF events with over 40 members in attendance. Every member of CA is doing the work... lots of hard work. We are finding that we have found that the costs for some upgrades are getting more and more ridiculous.
I also do not believe that having a cap on how many of each currency that the coffer can hold. I find the caps rather redundant when the needs for each upgrade are just under the caps. No one really reaches the caps on the most used currencies because as soon as they goal is reached the upgrade is put into effect.

Well I finally decided it was not worth it to go it alone anymore and I joined a different guild. The guild hall there is level 5.
LostWrath has been stuck at Level 5 for over 2 months. How are you guys getting the influence? Most of my folks don't want to do the HEs cuz they're the same ol' day in and day out.
Currently on our way to Guild Hall 15, and the only "requirement" for the Guild is we ask people to donate 36,000 AD a week, basically one days worth of AD refining... That and Influence as much as they can/want! lol
And it is simply asked, as we have people who may not be on but a few days a week, they generally do what they can and that's fine.
Some people have erratic work schedules, others school or vacation, etc. That being said we have a very active core that's on daily, and we have been blessed a few times a certain CW drinks one too many adult beverages and donates a mega boat load of AD for us... He knows who he is! lol
Even with thay we have people who know the economy and work professions, etc. AND are kind enough to donate to the Guild on occasion... Because we, The Boozers, are one big team and that's the point of being in a Guild IMO. They social aspect, and working together to build a better Stronghold for all our Guild mates... We are lucky to have all the crazy people we do, that's for sure!
Knightshade Foundation is level 1 and we're working on farm. Looks like this is going to be a long journey. Hopefully we gain quality members that become savvy with mechanics of the game and coach others on how to contribute.
