Ok. I remember Kreatyve made a post on this long ago. It has been a while now. I want to know how everyone is progressing. My guild just reached 10. We still have a way to go to 12, but we are a pretty dedicated group. I am hoping this post will get some attention and result in costing changes, we all know they are too high. No trolling please. Just your concerns, bottlenecks and levels.

3, same as it was when she posted hers. Bottlenecked on the dungeoneer's shards of power.

We'll hit L7 in three more days, and are already close-ish to hitting L8.

At this point, everything is a bottleneck...
    • Surplus Eq is a big one though, because everyone is dumping all the gear drops into their artifact weapons and necks and belts.
    • Fey is another on.. the requirements have gotten out of control, and even grinding all three gates nets only ~1.2k.
    • Frozen wouldn't be so bad if we had more people who actually had IWD open, let alone all their boons there.
    • Tyranny is now requiring over half a million points per upgrade... the Winterfest really helped us out getting to GH L7 with all the great vouchers from the builder quests.
Honestly, this is my last big push for dropping stuff into the Mimic. Once we hit GH L8, we'll upgrade our Market to L4, which will open up the better gear, I see no reason to continue. But we're a small-ish guild (~25 active players) and just simply lack the numbers.

    Edited to add:
I should caveat this by saying how proud I am of our guildies... some of them have busted their butts to help get us to where we are ...

Well I would have been at level 4, except I did not fully read that you needed to be guildhall level 4 for the level 2 buildings, so I built the quarry instead of upgrading my guildhall when I had the correct shards. But, yes I agree that we need to be able to exchange one type of shard for another, even if it is a 2 to 1 rate.

    MYRMIDONS

    Myrimidons - GH10, Stables 5, Barracks 5, Market 5

It's definitely a grind. I'm not sure how you can go much faster without dictating contribution requirements and charging for admittance. I assume the costs on stronghold development will drop once the player base stops using $ for upgrading. So the sooner the elite guilds reach lvl 20 and max out everything the sooner the little guys will get more options for how to level the stronghold.

BTW the requirement to level a building outside of the boon stuctures, the market, and the farm/quary/mine/lumberyard is just a low blow. Either you have to upgrade a useless pvp structure or you have to level another support structure that you don't even need. Either way I would have rather seen them charge more the existing requirements than force an unnecessary structure on us.

Sadly upgrading the barrack is becoming hard because of conqueror shards shortage

The AD reduction and being able to exchange one type of shard or even the campaign treasures for another. That would speed it along nicely.

2 took just over 4 months to make farm....

Our thing is the Surplus Equipment. I know there is a coding for the voucher because it drops from DF and dropped from Winterfest. It needs to be added to the Zen Market. Everything else is available with Zen, why not that?

surplus (etos farming) and AD (donors and solid incentive programs) haven't really been the main pain point. We always seem to get stuck around influence (since we do not require donations) and gems (2xRP weekends make people want to focus more on leveling enchants). Sounds like each guild seems to run into their own challenges.

I assume at this point no one is investing in making the pvp structures. After all SH PVP is effectively dead.

We're building Guild hall 12- It will be done before the weekend and we'll be building MP 6 right away.

We have barracks leveled to 4- Stable to 5

Conqueror's shards of power are a bottleneck since we're PVE centric and don't have IL requirements and such.

Everything else hasn't really been a problem as far as currency. Except- you know Astral Diamonds.

I would never dream of charging people admittance into a guild. We'll get there eventually. Greycloaks is a casual guild and I'm proud of our dedicated members.

The Holy Crusaders and The Unholy Crusaders are both at Guild hall rank 14 - With our Barracks, Stables, and Wizard Workshop all at rank 7. I think we've been lucky that we have a large group of guildies that play regularly and are bale to work together to contribute - I know whenever we've needed Tyranny, or Influence, or Fey, etc. - they have all been able to work together to pull it off.
