Well the game is pretty much entirely screwed up now, so any change is better than keeping what we had. I really hate to say that as GC at one time seemed interested and invested. With the longstanding issues that have been allowed to remain in the game I am glad for the replacement of anyone currently working on it as they are only releasing garbage while retaining and allowing problems.
That does not necessarily mean that it was any fault of GC as I really feel that it is those in charge that are the real problems so maybe GC can get to work in an environment where he is appreciated and is allowed to do what fits his passion.

There are things you can peg on devs, but I doubt its a fairly big % of the actual issues.
Most of the issues revolve around crazy management decisions, more then anything else.
At least.. you can say, its not quite as bad as it was a couple months ago.
Im more postive now then Ive been in a bit.. I still think they could go along way to making players happy by just fixing the last couple of BIG costing issues and re balance rewards for playing. (you know the reason you removed leadership..)
There is almost nothing to actively farm in the game.. at all. Which isnt good.
I am the reverse of you and the most negative I have ever been and any new content or dungeons or skirmishes or costing changes will not make it any better until they start addressing the problems they continue to dodge.
Was pretty sure I hadn't seen him post on the forums in quite some time. His twitter looks like its mentioned a hunt a couple times...my guess it was a job hunt.
New blood can be good or bad. Bad because of lack of knowledge of the code with the associatd bugs introduced. Good because a pair of fresh eyes see things differently, and new people usually are eager and work hard.
The state of the game is imo not too bad really. If you play a couple of hours a day you can easily fill the daily 36k AD quota with some left for alts, so I don't find the AD situation unacceptable. It will never be as easy as it was with AD from LS, but it seems fairly ok and balanced now. You have to play the game though, which is how it should be.
My three main issues at the moment is: * Dungeons dungeons dungeons * Class balance. SW's and GWFs doing 3 times as much damage as everyone else at equal gear levels gotta be fixed. * Lostmauth set is way too good and needs serious nerfage
The balance issues should have been fixed a LONG time ago

No need to be so negative about someone moving on in his life. I feel a goodbye should always be pleasant and not something to leave a sour taste in someone's mouth. I wish you well gmc, wherever you are going. Good luck on your future endeavors.

Indeed.
Good luck to @gentlemancrush at Rift. I know every game has it's challenges, and hoping his work on Neverwinter will allow him to be successful in another arena.
On behalf of Civil Anarchy, I'd like to thank Gentlemancrush for all his hard work on Neverwinter these past several years and we sincerely wish you well in your new job. You did a great job on the forums here working to inform the players of coming changes to the classes and to class balance, I can only hope whomever replaces you is as open.

I am upset that I even have to say such a thing here, but dev bashing is Flaming and will be removed. I'm going to start issuing infraction points if people don't cut it out. It's not cool.
My opinions are my own. I'd like to echo Winter's thoughts here. GC's open communication is truly going to be missed.

@gentlemancrush has been quiet on these boards for some time, but we'll miss him and fondly remember his contributions.
