So far fought a CW and a HR with the ring. both around 2.8-3.2k (I'm 3.4k) It was a bit of a shock to suddenly see the CW go invis, but I quickly adjusted and just ran to where I assumed he was going. then killed him anyway, Big + is you still see the shift animation of CW and I assume DC when they use it in stealth due too its shiny effect.
That's the same strategy people have used to hunt down stealthed TRs, too. Except now you have to potentially do it against everyone on the field. People might be thinking these rings are weak/useless, but the dynamics of pvp do fundamentally change when everyone keeps disappearing on a regular basis.
Well its not all that amazing for pvp because winning is all about capping nodes and you can see the opponent if close. So when fighting for a node, you are close enough that they cannot hide from you.
And the ring is not great for SW because you can still see the SW while they sprint (purple smoke).

Not true at all. The caps are larger than 20 feet across. They may even be more than 20 feet in radius, but if you really think the smart play is to stand dead center "so you can see people", then by all means make the lives of your opponents that much easier.

It is really sad that these rings were tested and accepted by our pvp community. Thanks good people. Good job! ..(means joke)
Big thanks for those who has tested those rings - aka Sophi. Effect: ring of nature not available till now. But noone agree with them. Especially community. Just poor victims normally dying on one hit now are happy cause of those broken BS.
Really, I don't know ANY good pvp player, who is happy cause of these. And users should be alienate, but it's impossible.
is it normal player to hide in a hard situation and healed from drowned weapon. All those are normal ofcourse. YOu all need a shocking execution to feel .
I think if anything the Drowned weapon is too powerful, not the rings. 50% heal over 30 seconds is pretty amazing for pretty much every class in PVP unless you get burst down, for classes with a decent escape mech it pretty much guarantees your survival.
I got a +4 ambush ring yesterday. Couldn't bring myself to test it on my main GWF so i placed it for the moment on my scrubby 2.2k SW, where it can't hurst anyone while i test it.
First impressions: doesn't help a SW capping a node if a TR/ HR/ other class comes, cause the node is small and you get revealed sooner or later. Where it shines is at making every class a hit-run TR. Expecially mobile classes. You go in and out of stealth, burst, get invisible, and so on. Before i got this on my SW i met this lame CW. 4k CW vs 2k SW. His team stomping mine. I get down of spawn and go at base point. See him down. Wait for him to go to cap. He notices me. Ok, won't come down since you'd burst me and i'd die a pointless death. But he's kill-hungry. So he goes stealth after faking a run to mid. I know it's a fake and wait. After few minutes i go down aaand...ambushed and killed. He just stood there moving around, just to get the kill.
Using this ring on a squishy 2k toon might help not getting stomped by BiS kill-hungry lamers. For example, not having wards, my SW can now avoid being nullified by a stamina drain permarooter or other stamina drain user. Can do something cause you don't get instarolled by a 3.5-4k enemy on sight. But that's the only relatively balanced use for this ring. These rings should work only under a certain iLvL. Like 2.5k iLvL. Reason: they give undergeared, squishy new players a way to hit-run instead of just getting stomped by geared players. On geared toons, instead, they should not work. Cause it's lame. On low geared toons, giving them very specific bonuses, instead, can give ideas that would also help these toons to "fight" in a PvP scenario ruled by fully geared stompers.
Out of this, to be honest, i'd just delete these rings bonuses and leave them as salvageable stuff players can farm to hit the RAD cap. I would gladly salvage my +4 ring of ambush and wouldn't miss it at all. Seriously.
If i'd put it on my GWF with battlefury and bravery...stealth after i move for 2s...i can see what i could do with something like that. And didn't like the idea one bit. It's so lame.

.Suicide Squad.
Drunken Goose of MidNight Express. - 3.3k Paladin , 3.6k GWF , 3.1k GF,
And if they've got a mythic wheel, you may as well just go home. Lol.
Anyone get the feeling that in the near future there will be a majorly paygated pvp equivalent of a nuke..?
