I hope so. I like it. 2 new skirmishes. 1 new big boss fight. New campaign. New boons. New HE encounters. And a really sweet quest line to kick it all off.

    @ironzerg79
I sort of like this mods structure and wouldn't mind it being repeated, so long as next time, its 2 dungeons, not 2 skirmishes, that get returned to us. I got uber nostalgic when running through parts of karrundax in 1 of the quests.
@thefabricant From the Reddit AMA answers, I'm almost 100% certain Module 9 will bring back some of the old dungeons.

I think it would be really cool if they incorporated the bronze/silver/gold scoring into the returning dungeon boss fights. Make bronze easy enough to achieve that your "entry level" iLevel players can beat it and get something, make silver your average rewards, and something very challenging for gold that gives high iLevel players something worth challenging themselves for.
No reason for this type of post. Appologies.

This idea of bronze/silver/gold is not bad. But there is NO actual content to apply it. The Prophecy of Madness skirmish is by far the worse, most boring and insulting to players. It has 2 variants, the Tears closing and the Wards protecting. Phase 1 and 2 for both variants is 5 whole minutes each, 5 minutes from our lives are wasted on dpsing useless adds. The Wards variant has a spawning rate of 3 adds per minute maybe, while u have to run around the other side, plus time doesnt stop when you reach GOLD so you have to eat up the whole 5 minutes in both phases. Phase 2 on both variants is a little more interesting but still you waste the whole 5 minutes even if u reach gold in 3. But the point is that THIS IS NOT DnD content. Its content for little kids that barely walk. Who in the name of reason approved this idea of putting human beings in this ordeal? And to make it worse, behind both skirmishes are gated the games Bis rings, with the Legendary ones having of course a slim chance to drop so you really have to play this horrid content HUNDREDS OF TIMES. So many people doing eSOT and KR for the same amount of times but they are beautifuly designed, have good difficulty even for OP players and they have PACE. Something these 2 abominations lack of. They are STATIC, LAZY DESIGNED, RUSHED and they are supposed to be fun to play...for NW:Online..

Will someone from the design team and the ones who approved these 2 horrific creations come forward and apologise, and inform us what are you going to do about them? Will you stop hitting this game so hard? It really deserves better, we all deserve better than this worse than amateur approach.

you are so fanish , that no one even pays attention to what you say anymore. Sorry if this seems harsh, but no one in thier right mind thinks this mod is anything but sub par. I understand you have to tow the company line to keep your job, but no one here is stupid enough to fall for it. we play the game.

Is it such a shock to you that you might find people on the official forums who actually are here because they enjoy the game? I know. It's weird right?

I feel that the XP rewards for replaying the Salvatore quests could be a lot higher, to allow an alternative to the vigilance grind. It's pretty pathetic, even though I agree the other rewards should be one-time-only.

If the only path from 60-70 is running the exact same BS quests over and over again until you want to puke all over your keyboard, why not at least expand the list of quests available to repeat in a meaningful way?

@ironzerg79 Just a bit of a forum UI thing, is it possible to have it changed so that whenever someone quotes someone else and the person they quoted happened to mention the handle of someone else, that that other person doesn't get notified? I got like 6 notifications caused by 2 people arguing earlier where someone responded to me and then someone quoted that person and as they kept quoting each other I kept getting notified. That has happened again here as well with you and skalt, whereby you responded to me and he quoted your response, resulting in me getting notified as your responses went back and forth :p

They give almost as much as the daily Minsc quests. I think that's reasonable for the work involved.
I'm specifically talking about replaying, which was showing me 725xp for doing them again. Since there is no option but to repeat quests to reach 70, these ones should be as viable as vigilance, and they aren't.

The first run was fine rewards-wise, other than the fact that they apparently are just a drop in the ocean of xp needed to actually level. I know it wasn't sufficient to attain a single overflow level on my playthrough, but "whatever" on that front.

    Hello everybody

I'm a returning player who left the game in module 2, because I wasn't able to find a guild / community willing to support new players.
Now I was really internested in the new modules, new classes new mechanics and so on. Unfortunately I think nothing had changed.

I believe Neverwinter is a great game, but I also believe it lost its potential to become a successful game.
The reason, in my opinion, is developers doesn't hear the community feedback.

Neverwinter states it is a Free to Play game, but I believe this statement always has a trick involved.
We obviously know someone must pay the bills to keep up the servers on and developers are not doing this game for hobby,

I have read in the forums a lot of suggestions, from the most elemental like bug fixing, to some specific like adding a particular prestige class.
Is true all players would have a different opinion in what needs to be changed. and it will be impossible to satisfy all,
But keeping touch with the community is something essential to success in a market with a lot of options.
Happy players are tend to spend money in the game than players who believe they are losing their time.

I believe Neverwinter community is really disappointed
The new Underdark Mod is not receiving good comments. (some people may disagree but as I told, everyone is different).

I will explain my specific situation.
First of all, the game needs a huge ammount of time investment. even if you pay real money,
the developers says there are different players, those who have time but no monney, and those who have money but no time
but there is a money sink if you have more than one character.
For example, new tokens to complete old campaigns. they cost 5000 ZEN each,
That means if I'm a new player, (or a returning player) I need to spend 150 USD to complete previous campaigns, per character!!
or spend like 4 months doing repetitive quest... playing 7days per week!!
and it is just a minor aspect of the game, I will still need Best in Slot armor, artifacts and artifact equipment.
and... once I got them... I still need to refine them. This is really frustrating for a new player.

    The game suffer of:
    Innecesary time investment.
a lot of bugs that need to be fixed.
exploit and hackers making unbalanced economy.
there is no real benefit in spend money in the game, instead of microtransactions they should rely in a membership or improve VIP program.
Overstaturation for daily quest, even dedicated players have trouble in fulfilling daily requirements for their characters.
Lack of creativity (each campaign is exactly the same grinding, grind with little gnomes, grind with zombies, grind bearded dwarfs, grind with dragons, grind with demons)
lack of content (they removed dungeons, instead of making them solo playleable, or ... I don't know... restructure them to make them in versions 3 people)
And above all... developres lose touch with the players.

Beside the new tarmalune trade bar store, and AD cap increase.
Developers do few things for the players.

This is only my opinion. sorry for the repetitive words and if I made mistakes during redaction.

    Have a nice day.

There is only one good thing in this module and that's the Demogoron fight. To bad the whole experience sucks anyway because of the pugs you are forced to play with. FFS give us 10 man Q with guild/friends. Been asking for it since Tiamat.

Drow shirt/pants - Broken. Only self heals and no heals for allies on crit.

Elemental Drowned weapon heals 100% and not 50% as it should. Also a very awful way to get it. Doing one HE 100 times. Its gonna be even worse to get them in a week when most players are done with them. Haha I cant imagine how much time it will take to solo the crab HE 100 times... GLHF!

The legendary ring drops in the Skirmshes is like 0.001% or something because in 3 days I haven't seen a single player getting them. We keep getting GOLD over and over and 95% we get +1/+2 rings..

Skirmishes are so boring. There is like nothing fun about them except for maybe the Hulks part. The rest is just awful.

HEs are boring. All of them. Repeating them every day and not even getting influence if you do them in SH is just bad. Building whole mods on HEs over and over again is such a bad idea.

    GIVE US DUNGEONS.

    what exactly did you expect?
    grind for sure, what else?
    new equip, what else?
    etc.
btw. from all mods I saw this was the smoothest start for now, and nothing beats Thiamat mod 6, Thiamat was such a fail...
Demorgorgon is not top of all i experienced, but far away from worst, its quick and has some movementskill to follow...on a very low level
But even running the normal version I do see >90% of players can´t even fullfill this task in second phase to lure the demon in the yellow area, so its more than enough for this game
I know exactly what you miss, but did you think a mod will change the fundamental decisions cryptic made?

The B/S/Gold mechanic looks good in the short term. In 2 months this campain will be over for many players. Where will a newbie find enough (already bored) players to get the gold from the HEs? These will be a desert like IWD...Maybe Skirmishes will survive a bit more.
IMO this is not only an empty module, but also a short shot in space and time: longevity = 0

I understand where a lot of hate comes from the players towards Cryptic and I've spewed my anger disappointment here many times but this time I need to say give them a break and a chance.

People complain X mod was too much , now they complain this is too little.

People complained about the same quests over and over and this campaign lets you do skirmishes instead to get through the campaign and now they complain about that too.

There was a lot of good changes and it's a sign that Cryptic is listening ... YES it takes time for them to actually MAKE those changes because GUESS WHAT, they dont have the development staff like Blizzard for example. They have a F2P crackteam of devs that have a laundry list of things to get through.

Give them some time. Glad this was released in parts vs. all at once.

    Thanks for the positive changes.

Another thought... I'm very happy that for once there are some nice wide open area fights vs. choke corridor dungeons etc. My fav is the Dwarven Throne one, yeah it's pretty easy but surprisingly players still dont get the Hulk mechanic. In a week that will change tho.

    Positives:
    Coal wards are cheaper now.

    Negatives:
    Everything else.

Once again, I see no reason to do the new skirmishes or campaign. The rewards are minimal. This is 2 expansions in a row with no real upgrades, and the slight upgrades cost way too much to bother with.

I hit level 70 like half a month ago so I'll just provide feedback about my experience in general.

    1) Levels 1-60 : Like said by a lot of people. Really fun to do and even repeat over and over. The classes are diverse enough to keep you doing it again.

    2) Levels 61-70 : I enjoyed a lot of it but the annoying parts are so overwhelming they cover the goods. Mainly Drowned Shores and Spinward. The game should at least teach the players about stats before it starts! No where ingame you realize you need armor penetration or have terrible damage here. Please remove the cooldown on the vigilances or at least cut it in half! Let people choose what they want to do. Maybe lower some of the kill amounts in a few quests -Like kill a million slaad in spinward's second area.

Abbarrant Assault and ToS are pretty much the most fun thing while levelling here. The last area of spinward is REALLY annoying to solo as some classes. Especially if you can't find someone as frustrated as you to tag along.

    3) Level 70 : The quest you get at level 70 is nice and makes you feel great. Max level baby it is time to unlock many zones at once and do whatever I wish to grind first! Then I went to Well of Dragons and that prison quest.. needless to say I didn't dare to step anywhere there until 2k ilevel just because of that map. The item level 1600 dungeons hit hard before you get some progression in the campaigns -Still didn't get kicked a single time from a dungeon- maybe I was lucky.. although there is way too many people leaving after first wipe.

Like many players complain I really dislike how one of the best ways to get good stuff is to run from HE to HE like a BOT just to progress. Heralds of Tiamat being the pinnacle of it. Just a zerg army. You don't even know if they are players or bots while running between them. This happens in a smaller scale way too often in icewind dale too.

    4) Artifact Items : I know this is a complaint but is there really a reason to use the great imperial set beside a cheap replica of Lostmauth set? Although it is easier to get -Cheap on AH and think items drop by Tiamat- it still needs a lot of commitment to level up\build around and needs some buff. Same for a few other sets.

    5) Underdark : I won't lie I like most of the stuff we got -The HEs are interactive enough that zergs sometimes fail them, especially harpers one-. The only thing that is too annoying is the damaging aura Demogorgon have. The game allows you to enter with 2k ilevel but that 8k damage aura will shred you if a squishy class. Maybe add a potion for fareezes that lower its damage a bit for one fight.

Sorry for the long post. This isn't all the feedback I wanted to say but I didn't want to write an essay ;P.
