Was the "Nowhere to Hide" quest removed?

On other characters I made in the past there was a quest you could get from a cloaked man (rogue only quest it seems) in Protector's Enclave. I have a level 67 rogue now (rerolled) and haven't came across this quest yet even though it is a lvl 58 quest. I logged on my old rogue and that toon still has the quest (I was unable to solo it, so just used the instance to farm nodes:). Was the quest removed? Are there quests that you have to do before that maybe I have missed? Thanks for any help. I did look for the cloaked man in the area that he is supposed to be in (Protector's Enclave) and did not see him.

As far as I know, it wasn't removed. It's the last of the TR chain quests. You need to do all the ones before it, in order, first.

That I know of... from the words of other TRs who have progressed... it stops before you get to that quest.

Hmm. Well I don't see the npc that gives the quest. Shouldn't I be able to see him even if I am not eligible? Or they move his location? Gonna be hard retracing my steps and seeing what quests I might have missed. A lot of npcs stop having a ! over their heads when I out level the quests. Heck, I been waiting over a week to get Barrow Demolition and the npc hasn't been having a ! over his head. I clicked on him today for the hell of it and got the quest. grrrr. Guess it's a bug.

You need to accept the Common Cause quest from the Harper next to him first, then his quest becomes available as it is part of the objectives for Common Cause when you get to the second teir.

I did that. That's why I been wanting to do the quest so I could complete it. No ! has been showing up on map or above the npc's head. This has happened to me before with other npcs, I just need to keep that in mind now and click on him anyway.

I have a level 67 rogue but never done this quest with that character. I don't see a cloaked man/quest giver in PE. Wondering if I missed a step or if it's been removed. I asked in general forum, but got contradictory replies and neither people who posted seemed sure, so I thought I would ask here. Anyone know of a coherent rogue questline page? I would like to see if I have missed any of the quests.

All of the quest lines for each class were removed at the beginning of M5. I know this because I have been waiting for the messages relating to them... and never received them. The Race quest lines, I believe are still intact, but they are pitiful in comparison.

I have dealt with this issue since the beginning of M5... with guild mates and my own characters. It is one of the hardest quests to solo, IMO, and I have not helped any TR move through it.

This WAS another quiet removal... and no one paid attention to it since there were so many other things to worry about. I noticed it immediately.

Yes, Nowhere to Hide was the hardest solo quest that I experienced. Wondered if others had problems with it too. I enjoyed using the house for nodes tho. They would reset upon leaving. Interesting that my old toon can still do the quest if they removed it. Guess they just removed the ability to receive it.

I finished the quest with a new TR, didn't had any problems to find the NPC or getting the quest. Character has been started while double EP and played to 60 in two days. It's definitively not removed since Mod 5.

The question is did you start the quest line before M5? If you did... then you had the quests available before they were removed. I have talked with a number of brand new players and they cannot find the quests nor do any of them get the first quest for TRs. I have leveled a GWF and HR to 70... they did not have the class quests available to them... via the letters mailed to them.

Keep an eye out for the quest giver while grabbing bags. Let me know if anyone has seen him. I haven't. He is supposed to be around the SE steps by the invoke npc.

I do mean that the character has started with last double EP, which is just a few weeks ago. Doesn't existed before.

He might only show if you have unlocked the quest, and not already completed it.

I took my rogue who finished the quest long ago, and looked in PE for the Cloaked Man, using both my memory of where he was and the coordinates in the wiki. Couldn't find him.

There he is -

I completed the quest two weeks ago, he's already there. But my Lvl 70 TR (quest also done) can't see him anymore. I guess it's because of level scaling to 70. Maybe. Or something else.

My level 61 TR can't see him either. I finished the TR quests in Pirate's Skyhold a few days ago and got the mail for the final quest and everything. I'm guessing it's a bug or there's some other requirement that isn't very obvious.

Hmm. Not sure I did the rogue quest in Pirates Skyhold. Might look for the npc and check. Is it a big deal if you don't do these rogue quests? Achievements/titles are just fluff right?

Turns out I missed the rogue quest in Skyhold. I out leveled the area so
npcs weren't showing me a !. I received some mail by the Nowhere to Hide npc to meet him in PE. I don't see him though. Pretty sure I'm looking in the right spot too. By Corp. Benton right? I'm lvl 69 btw.

That's weird, dude. I have my first mail from "A Friend" on a TR I started on Sept 2. GWF should have something (starts with guard recruiter in Tower), but your HR has no class quests because they've never had a class quest chain at all (grr).

It sounds very much like this NPC is invisible if you have outlevelled your quest markers, and the quest level cannot be higher than 60 since it's from the game's original launch (iirc, it's 59). Only affects TRs because the NPC himself is a quest marker and in PE is hidden to anyone who isn't eligible for the quest. It works properly if you are haven't skipped anything and are doing it at-level. Level past it, you're in trouble.

This basically makes it a bug created by a game mechanic. I'll have to verify it, but I'm pretty sure I have a level 70 TR that never finished the class quests.

Is that the last quest in the rogue quest line? If so, doesn't look like a missed much. I woulda loved to have those nodes to farm and solo it one day. I never could solo it when capped at 60 on my other rogue.
