Patch server being DDOS'd?

Just wondering, game hung on patching Witch Fen and now won't complete patcher for Game login.

    I'm getting the same 'unable to connect to patch server' and the game won't load.

    Receiving this message after approx 20+ attempts by the Cryptic Launcher AutoUpdate.
    It asks to please check your internet connection - well, I'm typing this in the forums and can connect to any other website.

    I have rebooted to try to get alternate routes but nothing is working and I cannot log into the game.

    This is my only recourse to report this - please look into it.

    for me i left it alone and it eventually loaded. It seems they are doing something on the server. Possibly.

    I am with you on this one. Login attempts to connect to update the launcher 23 times....and to check my internet connection. no go :(

    Same issue i was sitting in SH then the patch got stuck so i thought i would go to pe then it was still stuck closed game and now wont patch up

    Nevermind went to another area and got stuck inloading.

    I am also experiencing this issue, my internet connection is perfectly fine. It must an issue with the Cryptic Launder. Also tried restarting, and verifying game cache on steam. Just a matter of time then.

    Hung trying to enter Feydark Breach; killed it after 10 minutes and now can't get back in. 'Unable to establish connection to Patch Server'.

    Same. Actually I was able to get in earlier, but when I timed out i tried to login and couldn't connect to account server. Restarted my pc now can't connect to launcher.

    This a result of them swapping to a new server...?

    Yup. I was sitting in the strongholds map then a patch poped up 1 file 0/kbps. It was frozen there so i thought i might try to change maps. Pe would not load up so i exited the game and now it wont patch from the patch server.
