Anyone else feel that damage need to be scaled back.. nothing like taking 130,000-160,000 points of damage and dying from a foe you never even see.. driving away players

To take such a high amount of damage, you need to either get a lot of debuffs (long fight) or have completelly no tenacity. Then, you need not to avoid nor block that powerful attack that usually comes after red circle or sonorous skill noise.
Anybody who gets one–shotted, is either completelly newbie or just insane bad player.
It is good for good players to be able to one–shot trash players like we one–shot trash mobs in dungeons.

SE is easy dodgable and blockable. Just listen to the sonorous skill noise and react properly. It requires some skill and practice, but you have close to 1 second to react. This is way enough even for high–ping players not to get hit at all. Until you listen music instead of game sound.
Take a practice. Go with your friend TR, listen and react. Good luck!

I have no idea from where those potatoes crowl on forum with those advise...
I've noticed the forums've been heavily overrun by such forum whoriors after migration to Vanilla. This kind of guys must be thinking there are only 6 classes in the game now. HR, GF, CW, TR, DC, OP.

Reading these forum post disgust me...
There is a scale up error when you are in icewindale.
A level 60 player scaled up to 70 can hit some serious damage (no matter what class they are)

I hate paying taxes! Why must I pay thousands of dollars in taxes when everything I buy is taxed anyways!
It will Merenthar. When you you have 1800 gear scores hitting for over 50K and one shotting 3000+ gear scores because they bought the $50 VIP...that will make players mad. It is going to cause the people who cant afford that to leave. I watched it happen in another game...it is almost all wallet warriors now..and even they are leaving because there are no lower level players for them to beat up on.

First of all, there isn't 1 second room to dodge it but anyway I can dodge it with my DC and CW. Since you are a pro pvp'er can you give me a hint about how to dodge it on my GWF?

I am glad we can agree that it is possible to dodge SE with DC and CW.
However, I cannot advice you how to avoid most of the damage with GWF as I simply don`t play this character.
I think that The Militia Barracks is a good place to make an ask. I believe you get many sugestions and learn the new thing.
I got one hit earlier -- by myself. I attacked with vengeance pursuit and died to multilanche I assume. I was on my pve char and not my pvp one so I expected my share of deaths but found it funny that in a fresh game my first attack and from stealth killed me instant.

Glad you posted that, I'm going to go to the barracks and see if something there can help me with this on my GWF. Thanks!

Well, then, why don't you learn to play those classes before you come here and toss l2p comments ? Huh, IWD TR
Man i am a TR in Grim and i had never been one hit killed in PVP (Dominaton/Gauntlegrym) i am pretty paper and far from pro... With 70-80k hp... Must say i think otherwise tanks are op since tenacity only buffs defense and is common to see 3 ppl hitting a tank and it lasting several minutes
SE is kinda hard to dodge when you don't even know he's there. I watched a TR kill a BIS GWF with trans negation from full health to dead with SE, but yeah it's perfectly fair....
Man i really dont understand the TR or Piercing damage ... Really i had a very good equipment and didnt do that kind of damage unless the other char is very bad equipped...
