Thanks for the quick reply. If you put sudden storm in mastery slot does it have more than one main target.

Sudden storm is a line AOE that hits everything in it's path as the "main target". So if you have it on tab, everyone is afflicted with the dot that arcs into each other. It's actually pretty freakin' powerful when you're mashing big groups of monsters together. Lightning arcs all over the place.

It's not great. Master of Flame tends to deal far less damage than a comparatively equipped Spellstorm Mage.

is this better or is it still bad for an MoF build?
I can't REALLY help you with specifics, but if you are looking to deal as much as possible, you should go with a Spellstorm CW, preferably Thaumaturge with Eye of the Storm + Storm Spell as class feats. But this is only if you're looking to top the Paingiver charts.
I used to play a buffer Master of Flames(Renegade) in module 5 (the version XBox uses right now) with Plague Fire weapon enchant and Shadow Weaver set. It was fun, other people liked me for it, but it was only a niche build and not really necessary. In Mod 5, all you need is an SS CW and if you've decent gear, you can pretty much carry through any instance with Lifesteal being your only defensive mechanic. High Vizier set is pretty much a must have, it's a huge damage boost.
These are the feats SS thaums used on PC back in mod 5:
So that being said, I've only played a support MoF in mod 5, so can't really give you concrete details if you're looking to do damage with the class, but it's behind by a lot in terms of damage compared to a Spellstorm. It was pretty fun running through Pirate King from the 1st boss to the 2nd and pulling everything on the way, then clearing the whole instance during a single fight while being practically invincible due to lifesteal and Smolder/Rimefire DoTs ticking away on everything. An SS CW would have some difficulties with that because to deal good damage and lifesteal HP back, you are required to stand in place and cast while the MoF CW can just place an Icy Terrain and due to Critical Conflag, Smolder and then Rimefire get applied and you are constantly healed.
Now, I don't know how movement is on the XBox using a controller, but there are 3 shortcuts in Pirate King that we used to do sub 5 minute runs on the PC. It was really fun.
My question is for the upcoming update Xbox users will be getting.
Where can we find the new artifact equipment? Weapon, offhand, belt, cloak, etc... Also, what powers are used in PvP? Is it generally the same or are the new powers viable, like disintegrate?
And finally as a CW, what should we do first when all this content hits? Is there something that we should aim for that you wish you had done first when you was grinding to 70?

I'm not really a PvP guy, but from what I've seen and heard, you can either control or go for damage. It somewhat depends on your playstyle and what opponents you go against. If the opponents run Elven Battle armor enchant, then controlling is not an option, they are practically immune against it.
Disintegrate is a really viable encounter in both PvE and PvP, but whether you should slot it or not, depends on whether you wanna control (push enemies away from nodes in domination) or just deal damage and go for kills. In mod 6, GFs and Paladins are going to be a pain in the <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>, even DCs can become unkillable if they run the Elven Battle enchantment, because your only option was to control them long enough so they can't heal themselves back. A GF is just straight up going to wreck you with a full combo when it sees the opportunity.
As for your last question. I don't know to be honest. You guys may get the patch that already includes the +50% hp for monsters above lvl 61 and also the triple XP requirement. When mod 6 hit, I levelled up in 18 hours in one go. The best thing I can suggest is to slot high level Azure Enchantments into your utility slots for the additional XP bonus and to buy the lvl 61 Eternal set from the Well of Dragons campaign. That set should get you through to lvl 70, but you'll still struggle.
What will the lvl 61 Eternal set cost? Is it a currency available now that I can save up? Or will there be a new aadded currency that I will have to save? Thanks for the response.
As for disintegrate, single target damage was mainly Ice Rays currently, does disintegrate replace that or do people run both?
What enchantments are control wizard generally using? I have mostly Radiants for offense and defense with a few Azures here and there. Should I be investing in a different enchantment like Black Ice or Dark?

Sorry to bombard you, have another question. The lostmauth cloak and golden belt, where can I find these artifacts? I read you can buy them with currency from ToD campaign, was wondering if you can confirm this and if so, how much does it cost? Again, sorry to bother.

That set is going to be added in mod 6. Do not spend Linus on them tho because you guys won't kill Tiamat any time soon once his scaled up to 70+. You will be able to farm the part of LoL set from Epic Lair of Lostmauth. I assume prices will be really high, just like the Valindra set's. So if you want to make good money early in the mod, run eLoL and VT a lot. You will need the eLoL key (you can buy 5 for 300 Zen in the Zen Market, if you don't loot the chest, only take a look, the key won't disappear. Only loot when the chest's value is greater than 1 key's cost.)
There are going to be 3 sets:
Valindra Set: Control Bonus and Control Resist (with cha/int base stats)
Lostmauth Set: Each crit deals 100% weapon damage (also crits, str/dex)
Lathander Set: I don't even know, only some HRs use it.
Ohh yea... about the Valindra set and its control bonus and the control bonus stat in general. Tougher monsters will have over 90% control resistance, stuns, roots, chills, freezes, etc... will only last for a fraction of a second. You can go full control strength as a build, but your damage will really suffer from that, so as Ironzerg's guide says: "Death is the best crowd control".
Is the Lostmauth set good for CW's? I know the stat numbers are great but is it worth losing the +Int/Sta from our current artifact belts for the +str/dex on the Lostmauth set?

If the Lostmauth set is released in its current unnerfed state on the xbox, then yes. With the +2+2 int/cha, you are getting like 5-6% damage increase out of it, but the LoL set's 100% weapon damage proc itself gives SS CWs about 20ish% and 30+% to MoFs.
Just look at this ACT parse:
This was done against 3 dummies in Trade of Blades.
Also, is Tiamats Orb worth anything in mod 6? It is selling for 110k right now which seems low considering getting to rank 4 Tiamat is growing harder each and every week. Wondering if I should grab a few of them and sit on them. Thoughts?

Action Combat Tracker is a 3rd party program with a script made for Neverwinter. It can be used for various games that have a script made for them and it's a PC only thing as far as I know.
Profession max level is going to increase to 25 and leadership is going to receive a slight nerf. That being said, leadership (if run on multiple characters, the more the better) is still the best and most stable income you can have. It takes AGES to level up to 25. Many people on the PC are running leadership armies (no joke, 50+ characters) and are able to earn several hundred thousand AD each day.
If you want a personalized ring with a 2nd slot, you will have to level Jewelcrafting to 25 (this one goes rather quickly, especially after 20)
Tiamat Orb is not going to play any particular role, since the LoL set is out, it's the most wanted artifact set, so I wouldn't recommend.
Sorry for all the questions but I still have some more.
So I hear GMoPower are more common so the price is not as high(500k on Xbox) but what about Union, Stability, and Potency? Should we try and get a few of those or do those also become more common?

romotheoneMember, NW M9 PlaytestPosts: 729Arc User
Are you sure the Greater Mark of Power is 500k and not 50k? The GMoPower goes for 50k/each on the PC in mod 6, but it always depends on what time of the week it is. You can farm them on tuesdays, so generally, their price goes up by the end of the week.
Lowest right now is 325k which is down 150k from a week ago. Ever since we had double RP about as month ago prices on GmoPower and Union have sky rocketed.
GmoUnion is going for 390k right now. Stability is only 52k.

@boom782 Wow, it's insane. I think their prices will go down in mod 6, so you better sell what you have now. Here is a little analysis of how farming Greater Mark of Unions on the PC looks like. Stability prices are the lowest on PC as well, because most of the really good artifacts are either power or union. It might be a bit confusing at first, so any questions you have regarding this, feel free to ask.
I used 42 runs for the analysis, but I listed all 68 I've done, just so you can see the frequency of the GMoUnion drops.
Legend:

Runs: 42
Unions : 15
Union price = 68.000
Union price after subtracting 10%+2% (posting and auction cut fee) = 59.976
Union price 15 pieces = 899.640
42 key bought (+13 discarded by accident) = 55 keys = 55 Gold + 275.000 AD
Total cost of acquiring 55 keys including Onyx Fragments = 355.000 + 55 gold
Profit = 899640 - (355000 + 5500) = 539140 (going with the GMOP exchange value of 1000 gold for 100.000 AD, 55 gold = 5500 AD)
Runtime: 3,5 hours with a profit of 539140 (154000 / hour) (please consider the 13 discarded keys. If we follow the 1 Union every 3 runs ratio, this should give us another 4 Unions with a profit of an additional 240k, making it 780k in total and increasing the profit to 195k in an hour.)
For comparison: 99 Peridots (79000 - 12% = 69500) can be farmed in an hour
Conclusion:
Running Phantasmal Fortress every Thursday nets about 195.000 AD clean profit each hour.

If you want to find info on the upcoming artifact equipment right now, I suggest you take a look here:

With the current mod 6 weapon being this one:

As for your last question. I don't know to be honest. You guys may get the patch that already includes the +50% hp for monsters above lvl 61 and also the triple XP requirement. When mod 6 hit, I levelled up in 18 hours in one go. The best thing I can suggest is to slot high level Azure Enchantments into your utility slots for the additional XP bonus and to buy the lvl 61 Eternal set from the Well of Dragons campaign. That set should get you through to lvl 70, but you'll still struggle.
As for disintegrate, single target damage was mainly Ice Rays currently, does disintegrate replace that or do people run both?

It should answer some of your questions.
Icy Rays is a great encounter in PvP, its stun/freeze is unresistable and undodgeable.
Just look at this ACT parse:
This was done against 3 dummies in Trade of Blades.
Is it possible to do a damage test like that on Xbox?
I currently have JC at 20, Leadership at 14, and Alchemy at 11. Should I work on any others?
So I hear GMoPower are more common so the price is not as high(500k on Xbox) but what about Union, Stability, and Potency? Should we try and get a few of those or do those also become more common?
GmoUnion is going for 390k right now. Stability is only 52k.
I used 42 runs for the analysis, but I listed all 68 I've done, just so you can see the frequency of the GMoUnion drops.
Legend:

Each run takes about 5 minutes to complete
Runs: 42
Unions : 15
Union price = 68.000
Union price after subtracting 10%+2% (posting and auction cut fee) = 59.976
Union price 15 pieces = 899.640
999 Onyx Fragments = 100.000
800 Onyx Fragments bought = ~80.000
42 key bought (+13 discarded by accident) = 55 keys = 55 Gold + 275.000 AD
Total cost of acquiring 55 keys including Onyx Fragments = 355.000 + 55 gold
Profit = 899640 - (355000 + 5500) = 539140 (going with the GMOP exchange value of 1000 gold for 100.000 AD, 55 gold = 5500 AD)
