yes, TRs get nerfed. but nothing like the other classes.

they go from being supreme overlord god of pvp to overlord god of pvp. see, they were nerfed.

thats because u r only focusing on 1 specific build. countless other builds have been hit you know and many have been incited due to perma-stealth. remember those recent threads about people wanting deflect + itc to be nerfed? thats one of the things that was suggested to be nerfed because perma-stealth exists.

y people never want perma-stealth nerfed instead is beyond me

this reminds me so much of what people argued about for OPs. just because ONE build of OPs was doing damage, in one arena, lets nerf the whole class so they can't do any damage. and now that they are rebuilt as uber-tanks lets nerf DR.

    same arguments, different class.

i know there are different builds. i know not every TR does huge damage and builds their TR for this maximum BiS design. but, those that do are skewing PvP. so its that build that needs the balance. those power mixes. if they can do that then it won't hurt the ones that arne't using that particular build. YOU won't be affected unless you use that particular build.

Stealth can't kill you and TRs aren't immune to damage in stealth. So why the hell would you make it the focus of a balancing argument?

I.T. ****ING C. People. Focus on the power that brings the whole rotation together and your MI Saboteur issue is all but solved.

Do you realize how **** tempting it is to go back to an MI build? It took me 3 mods to completely put it out of my mind. It's like heroine. That's why every **** power-crazy TR uses it. I really can't believe it's this difficult for people to grasp. Talk to a group of players that have "mained" a TR for long period of time. I'm willing to say that 80-90% of them will say that there is no way they are giving up ItC. That should tell you something right there.

they are annoying to solo, but i can simply daze them through their stealth once itc is over if i really want to. part of the reason y some of them hunt my scoundrel down since i ruined their no-death streak. itc only really matters when you can't control them with an aoe while they r invisible.

also, i consider piercing to be a bigger issue than itc. if not for that, u could simply ignore them if you don't have the encounters or skill to catch them. even if you can catch them, shadowy opportunity is so ridiculously strong that people can potentially die b4 they can worry about finding them.

they are a build that can do anything the other rogue builds can but better....it's why it should be nerfed instead of receiving a general rogue nerf

See I'd actually be more in favor of nerfing Shadow Strike. I think ITC (in some form) is really needed. Its what allows the other builds to be possible.

Without Shadow Strike allowing you a stealth refill, I think it would create a "*****" in the TR rotation. They would be much harder to spam CoS in stealth knowing they cant re-stealth immediately. ITC can still be the "oh ****" button and I think the class needs that. But I think removing Shadow Strike's out of stealth - restealth capability means it would just JUST like Bait and Switch.

So now you have a much harder choice between attacking from stealth versus staying more "perma".

It would make "One with the Shadows" more impactful to the rotation.

I think that one change would be significant enough to break the rotation without over-nerfing the class.

I think the only other change to ITC I would make is that now with rank 4, maybe instead of adding a second to the duration the 4th rank reduces the CD by 1 second or something else.
