What are dragon hoard coffers and what do you do with them???

Ive been getting this dragon hoard coffers and it says its treasure but you can't sell them. What do I do with them? I see people are buying them and selling them on the game chat.

    They're used in a weekly quest called "Reclaiming the Hoard" in the Well of Dragons. You'll need 15 of them to finish the quest.

    The Dragon Hoard Coffer is a treasure that can be obtained from Well of Dragons enemies and heroic encounters. They are used in the weekly quest Reclaiming the Hoard. You can turn in stashes 5 coffers each at the cart next to Elminster.

    Tiamat Hoard Reclamation
    Reclaim treasures from Tiamat's hoard. Contributions to the Allied Hoard will be shared with other players. A greater number of people reclaiming a greater amount of hoard treasure will unlock higher tiers of rewards and beneficial effects for all!

    Once the expansions arrives you will need 15 per week to turn in a weekly campaign quest that awards some important items. I would save any you get and ignore the buying and selling going on. My goal is to accumulate 120 during this event for personal use once the expansion arrives.

    So it's possible to get the coffers after the event?

    They're not part of any "event" exclusively, for Rise of Tiamat is Module 5. The Dragon Hoard Coffers are a part of progressing a character while in the Tyranny of Dragons Campaign and as such, you can get dragon hoard coffers at any time while doing Well of Dragons content. You will be able to continue gaining them after the Siege Event, yes.
