Eternal Flame Lockbox Failing to Drop-last one only in 3 hours?

I have run hours of content since the patch and the new lockbox isn't dropping. I have farmed in WoD, Sharandar, IWD, Dread Ring, and eLoL. I have picked up only the old lockbox. They aren't available in the Wonderous Bazaar either.

They appear to have pulled it. I don't think it's a bug because they never announced it. Intended new lockboxes always come with fanfare.

The bug was that it was live for a bit.

They just blocked the items in the AH, we are unable to see if someone post anything related to the eternal flame lockbox. That guy is still trying to sell it for 60m - 89m and lost 1.2m due to the AH fee (unless they appear again in the next 4 days).

oh wow, that is pretty lame. Not that I thought it would sell but suck someone is losing the 1.2 mil posting fee

Yes, the live release was likely unintended because there's usually a week of all previous lockboxes also dropping along with the new one, accompanied by an announcement.

I think they skipped the lockbox resurgence the last time they did a mid-mod box change, though I may be mistaken. There are enough boxes now that I frankly find the resurgence events cumbersome. I can manage one inventory space for stacking the current box, but one of these and two of those and one of this other one and... gets really tiresome when you're just trying to do some quests, especially with a bazillion refining items all jostling for space too.

I don't mind them making all the old boxes temporarily available for people to buy if they want (I've taken advantage of that feature), but the drops are a drag, to me.
