Buying in-game currency from other sites

First off let me lead by saying I have not nor will I buy in-game currency from another site. That being said, other than the risk of being scammed, what are the consequences of buying something like that?

    I hate paying taxes! Why must I pay thousands of dollars in taxes when everything I buy is taxed anyways!

    I wasn't. I talked to their CS and it seems so tricky.

    Permanent ban of your account for violating the Terms of Services...

    You can find a link to the Terms of Service at the bottom of any forum page and I suggest you read them before you get yourself banned for violating that rule or others.

    Let's not mention, as well, the non-TOS related consequences of such actions, like compromising the security of your PC. Or your account getting hacked.
