Player removes the dust on his shoulder, turn to you and kills you in 2 hits (the first one took 70% of your HP).

I have been in imbalanced matches and I have been on both sides in some really awesome barn burners. 1000 to 997 is about as close as they can get... even greater is that it was a come from behind win.
I actually read in Zone that an opposing team member was upset that the match was so imbalanced. He was upset that we chose to sit on the respawn because of their overly aggressive actions. They did relent and allow us off the graveyard to cap all 3 towers... and the end was 1000 to 236... instead of a 1000 to zero which is over in 7 minutes. They allowed for 1v1 play and for us to earn some glory.
I am seeing that many people are seeing that we are all in the same boat... for now.

Match over 999 x 32.
My level 68 GF is geared as such: All level 7 and 8 enchants, greater vorpal, lesser soul forged. The level 65 pvp armor and helm. Draconic templar bracers and glyphs in the overload slot on the bracer and helm. A green (GREEN), cloak of lathander, and a green (GREEN) constitution belt. One level 66 pvp ring and one level 66 pve ring. Ensorcelled Mulhorand longsword and shield. Level 68 pvp boots. A blue waters, a green tr arti in the artifact slots. Once we see what the "fix patch" brings us and I see GF isn't going to be nerfed in the ground I will upgrade my gear.
So with that fairly crappy gear, I still destroy seven of ten other players I run into in pvp (gg and dom) and float between page 30 and page 40ish of the leaderboard out of what, 400 some pages?
Leaderboard aside (it is pretty weird at this point), when I lose it is more often from team mates that do not understand the concept of domination and rarely when I am just overwhelmingly out geared.
Not trying to troll you but I think your issues are either class, build, or playstyle errors.
For all its faults, mod 6 has provided me with an unusual number of quality matches. The last 4 have gone over 30 mins each, and scores so tight winner is decided in last few seconds. Of the 40 or so dom matches I've had, only a handful were uneven for either team.
The worst thus far is pretty much other ppl.

I am not usually a pvp player in mmo's but this game I find it really fun. However, I recently made a healadin lvl 70 and trying to get enough glory for good armor. However, I am usually one of the lowest on the scoreboard because I either follow my team around keeping them healed or just staying on #2 and holding off the other team until help arrives. Being low on the board means less glory and this annoys me because I am playing a class that allows my team to remain alive and kill the opponents while I get assists and caps only. There should be some form of compensation for those who choose to play as a team instead of trying to get the highest score on the scoreboard.

This has always been a problem. Another one are achievements like the triple kill one. . . can take forever on a heal-specced DC

I'm a PvE player primarily, PvP is a pain when 400 ping is your good connection.
I'm (currently) playing a tank spec Pally.
Good PvP happens... it happens when the match is close, and one side doesn't just obliterate the other and when players respect each other in their communication.
Bad PvP happens when players are rude to each other. See I can accept that your team totally crushes my team, that's actually the nature of pugging (anything except the levelling dungeons lets face it). What I find bad is that players no longer seem that interested in swapping a cap so everyone can get some glory and having a friendly chat. I also find the "noobs" and similar insults to be counter productive to making PvP enjoyable (I don't like the "cheater" or "you paid to win" jibes either). Great you are winning, or you are on a team that is struggling. If you are winning, no need to be rude to people who might actually be new, if you are experienced and your team is not maybe taking a minute or two to explain some strategy is worth your while (I mean you are getting slaughtered anyway and you have party chat, why not use it to try and make everyone's experience better?).
Obsidian Moonlight - Paladin Obsidian Oath - Warlock A whole lot of other Obsidian toons as well.

I try to, and there are some extremely simple things to say and for people to do when you see the match going the wrong way and people not doing what they should. None the less it often results in people yelling at you for telling them what to do. Egos are far too often pretty fragile and that is why a lot of people do not like pvp.

And they, as well as double kills, aren't even working in GG atm.
