Boon description: "When damaged by a foe, chance to gain a stack of avalanche, at 20 stacks, taking damage will clear the stacks and deal up to 15000 damage to nearby targets."
Here's the problem, it appears to be proccing multiple times 2-3 times, it is especially noticeable when a Warlock attacks a tanky class like DC, because warlock applies alot of dots therefore building many stacks, I think at some point the calculation goes out of sync and procs the same amount, below log:

As you can see from all the damage taken, at highest
% avalanche did most damage to me, I find it funny that the highest damage source comes from
INDIRECT damage.
SOLUTION:
There needs to be ATLEAST a 1 sec ICD on the stacks and then on top of that, Avalanche needs to only be able to proc once every 60 seconds like the rest of the boons on that tree.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Spec into Soulbinder Paragon, Fury tree (make sure you grab the capstone "Creeping Death")
2. Slot in black/red dragon glyphs in your overload slots
3. Slot in a weapon enchant that had inbuilt DOT ie: feytouched, plaguefire, terror etc'
4. Use encounters in this order: Warlock's bargain -> Hadar's grasp -> Essence defiler at will
5. Attack a tanky class like GWF, GF that have the Avalanche boon.
6. Enjoy dying to your own reflected damage.

Sadly, it broke my character... and now i'm without feats and boons. But life goes on. And yeah, in my 11 years of online gaming i abused a total of zero bugs (so far, lol). Sometimes i feel tempted but i have a strong will.
I can even explain why i have a rank 4 power. I did not scroll down to where it says that the skills unlock at lvl 70. So i took weapon master's strike to rank 4. I then found out later, that the bug has been reported several times before the patch went live (i find it kind of disturbing, that it still made it to live). The skill info should be placed at the top of the screen instead of the bottom, in my opinion.

I can understand that the boon multiproccing is actually a broken mechanic, but putting in an ICD its just killing the thing. you think that its not because if you put it on an already TANKY build/char, its actually what makes them kill you (funny huh? But guess what, they can't do it with direct attacks, what did you expect? Always be the one winning?) lol
But see this: less tanky classes (like my HR) have it as the ONLY thing capable of taking on a SW... WHY? cuz if you build your SW right, your DoT's will kill even the Buffest HR in SECONDS!
So, if you have any other option, other than breaking the boon making it useless, then I'm all ears, or rather, eyes.
I can assure you without any doubt that Avalanche is not in your interest, and its not your tool of killing SWs, your tool is the ability to perma control them.
Many boons have internal cooldown, otherwise they would be completely broken (for example fey thistle reflects damage on deflect, imagine if there was no cooldown on it and you put a DOT on 50%+ deflect enemy or an ITC rogue, you would instakill yourself).

casting some DOTS (WB/WS+DT) on an enemy who sticks with a paladin caused several times weared damage probably bc paladin used the wrong aura?
he stacked some stuff (maybe its avalanche can´t say) killing his own teammember and himiself in short time
its such a pain to look up the combat log for hours to find those sequences, is there anything to make this easier?
This really need to be fixed, its one of the most broken things in PVP. See this thread for additional details about it multiproccing over and over. Not just that, but the fact that it has no ICD makes it just SILLY.

This product is so full of bugs, not working feats/boons/skills/enchants or working opposite to WAI, that your threads, you create over and over, are like a crying baby voice.
You have to realize, that Dev's don't give a shiet about us. Really. They don't WANT to fix it. Even IF - they don't know HOW to fix it.
99% of multiprocing skills/feats/boon/enchants not working properly.
90% of bugs known from start of server being ignored.
This game is kinda joke on all of those players who supported this product over more than 2 years. Decreasing population = more lags for Cryptic. Is that have any sense? Huge feedback from players like you, effect with even more bugs.

Hard to say if it was an issue, SW in mod5 had REGEN + LIFESTEAL, it might have existed but wasn't affecting temptation warlocks for example or even fury.
Also note in mod5, SW had no real tools to pvp, they were pretty squishy and had no way to tank long enough to notice if there is any reflected dmg.
That is not entirely true, alot of stuff was fixed since mod6 came out, it was mainly affecting PVE tho, but hopefully when the next rebalance of SW comes they will look into this problem, which right now every PVP SW will agree is the BIGGEST class breaker in the game.

With that said, Fury SW's are nearly unplayable in competitive pvp because the capstone Creeping Death causes Avalanche to gain stacks at least 5 times the speed of any other class and combined with Avalanche double (to quadruple) proccing it leads to any melee target near the target of said SW taking a consistent +5,000-15,000 damage even at 20% effectiveness every 5 seconds. Although it effects well-geared players less the effects on low-end players (in terms of gear) can sometimes a resemble a 1 shot, which I'm sure is frustrating and obviously not good for the game.
